They where very helpful in finding me a deal that suited me. He took me through the whole process clearly. Was able to get house insurance with them. He reminded me to say I have house insurance with them when it came to renew my car insurance.

Wouldn’t accept certificate return by email!
When cancelling the Policy before inception (as cheaper elsewhere), Hughes asked me to send the Certificate of Insurance back - yet they would have accepted a certificate “returned” by email if my communication preference was “email”! They wouldn’t amend my preference solely to “return” the Certificate, so I ended-up returning by post plus email - quite a charade to appease her in order to obtain my full refund!
Generally, the lady was stringent, pretty unhelpful and inflexible - not really Customer Oriented.
Probably better to go for a multi-car policy for larger discounts elsewhere.
