I purchased two Kartell toilet units from HomeSupply for around £500. The customer service team — particularly Mollie — were polite and responsive throughout, and I want to acknowledge that.

However, one of the units arrived with a manufacturing defect: it leaked from the ceramic body after every flush. What followed was weeks of back-and-forth, video evidence requests, and delays — during which I was left without a functioning toilet. By the time the replacement was arranged, I had already paid my plumber twice: once to install the faulty unit, and again to remove it and fit the replacement. Despite this, only a £50 goodwill gesture was offered, which did not come close to covering the additional costs I incurred due to a product that should never have passed quality control.

To make matters worse, during the return process an old pan was mistakenly sent back to the manufacturer. Rather than simply disposing of it — which would have cost them nothing — Kartell shipped it back to my address without my consent, had it signed for by a neighbour, and cited "hygiene regulations" as the reason they couldn't handle it. Those same hygiene concerns apparently didn't prevent them from putting it on a courier van.

HomeSupply's staff did their best within their limits, but as the retailer they were ultimately unable to advocate effectively for a customer who had cooperated fully at every stage. If something goes wrong with a Kartell product, be prepared for a lengthy and frustrating process.

Excellent service and prompt delivery

Very good interaction with staff at HomeSupply and with delivery personnel. But shouldn't have to be available all day when a delivery is due.

My order was reasonably priced and arrived quickly.

Very fast delivery. Courier rang me for my location as I am remote with no street name. Great price.
