Today we visited Homebase Oldbury store to buy some plants as well as picked up my click and collect order. I had a very positive experience with Homebase Oldbury.

The click and collect order was ready within 30 minutes after I placed my order, and it was ready behind the till for me when I visited.

We also went in the Garden Centre section, I was super happy that there were absolutely a great bargin to pick up some Echinacea plants as well as Salvia at a very good price, much more better than other garden centres I recently visited. I would like to specially acknowledge one of the staff: Steve. We had a chat as I was enquiring some quesitons on picking up some plants, he is so knowledgable and very friendly, and happy to share with us a lot of his exprience and expertise on plant pick and care. I definitely made the right choice to come today and I felt I have learnt a lot from an expert, worth my trip. The plants are very healthy and well look-after.

I enjoyed my visit and highly recommend Homebase Oldbury.

They found a good solution to damaged product I purchased

I picked up a box of tiles and when I unwrapped and opened them 12 of them were broken and chipped.The box had fragile tape wrapped around it but someone obviously didn't take heed. On returning the helpful customer sevice assistant was sympathetic and reduced them as there were none on the shelf.

I bought flooring stuff via the click and collect. Fast and nice. The staff is helpful and very nice. Feel good.

I’ve always liked shopping at Homebase, as the staff are always so helpful and they also sell a good range of products. My latest trip was to Homebase in Oldbury and, although it was in July 2024, I usually wait a while before reviewing the actual product. As usual, the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly, in particular, Ant, Matt and Sam. They gave good advice on the products and we eventually bought the Andorra patio set for my 95 year old Mom. The furniture is perfect - my Mom is easily able to get in and out of the chairs (which are also very comfortable). Very pleased with both the purchase and the staff. Thank you.

Very helpful staff and smooth easy transaction

The gentleman on the click and collect was very pleasant I showed him my email he got straight on the computer ask another colleague to get my order which was in a rather large box and took it to my van. The whole experience was delightful I wish other stores had staff like these two people.

The person on customer services was great. Sorted out a repayment on an item of furniture. General attitude good with other customers got the job done.

I visited to buy a houseplant and was served by Theresa on the tills. Her energy was everything, so friendly and bubbly! Reminded me what excellent customer service looks like, an absolute asset to the company :)
