It was a great greenhouse and just what I was looking for

Very fast service with a friendly staff member who was very pleasant and efficient

Easy to order online and the delivery was free. Item delivered in two days with choice of dates available. Love the table, exactly as described and easy to assemble.

All items were not on same cart so 3 were not given to us. Called store to tell them . Lady there spoke to man who gave them to my husband and he said all items were given over. When I said that we had not received all of the order she informed me that I could come to store and speak with a manager and that they would be checking the cameras. I was left very upset and made to feel that I was trying to steal 3 lots of compost.
The man who had given the items to my husband called to apologise and said that the 3 missing compost were on another trolley . He took full responsibility for the mistake. This however did not make me feel any better about how the woman had treated me leaving me feeling that she thought that I had the items and was trying to steal them. I went down to store and spoke with the manager who has assured me that I should not be made to feel as I did and that he would look into it . The man came and apologised in person.
I understand that mistakes can and do happen but no customer should be made to feel like a thief.

Everything ready for my click and collect, staff were friendly and efficient, even got helped to my car with a heavy bag of compost... excellent service

Good price on cuprinol fence paint with buy 1 get 1 half price- I selected delivery date following week as it was a free slot. I then added some plant food at £8 then checked out. Unfortunately I didnt notice the system randomly selected a separate delivery date for the plant food and I received it two days later at an extra cost of £6...to add to this I was in Tesco and saw the same product for £4 so effectively I paid an extra £10 for 1 item

Arrived on time .Delivery staff very pleasant and helpful.

The whole experience from start to finish was a really good one. I popped in one afternoon to have a look, I had dimensions in my pocket but wasn't expecting anyone to be available to go through a design at the time but they were able to spare someone for 30 mins to draw up a rough idea. I then made a second appointment to go through the design in more detail with Adam Shaw. Adam was great, very professional and knowledgeable. Adam was flexible and talked through everything in great detail, explaining the process in good detail. I was sent away with plans at this appointment to talk through with the workmen and then returned with a couple of amendments which were no bother to Adam. On my 3rd appointment I went ahead with purchasing the kitchen, Adam again was great and talked through the process with me. I left feeling very happy with the purchase and process.

Only gave 3 stars as has a great selection of products. Till staff are also very nice, however…

Phrases such as “it’s not rocket science buddy” when my Husband & I ask for advice from a shop floor staff member on the best product to use for a project in our garden is not helpful & comes across rude.

Previous visit in the last couple of weeks girls on help desk more interested in chatting to each other. When asked what hose to use with power washer we got told that they sell power washers but not hoses that would work with them then continued their conversation. Interesting as we then looked up on the Homebase website & seen they sell hoses that would work with power washer & the one we selected ourselves worked perfect.

It took over an hour before I was notified of my click & collect order notification and as the store wasn’t so busy it should have been done sooner

Today, we visited Homebase in Hamilton , Lanarkshire . Great variety of products. Lots of tester paint colours available to buy. We were served by Gaye at the checkout .Very pleasant lady , polite ,friendly and professional . Will definitely go back to purchase more products at this store. Great service

No tills open, just one person at the customer desk and 9 people in the queue….. Did get a till open quickly when I complained and a second person joined the desk when the person there called for help, so in the end it wasn’t too bad but for a couple of minutes staff were milling around and taking no interest

When collecting 2 orders, and trying to be helpful to counter staff, who only initially took one of the order numbers, didn’t have to be snappy for trying to be helpful and attract their attention, regarding there were 2 orders not one.
The order total was 10 bags of 50 litre compost a number of which were very wet, and 3 deep grow bags. When wet, these are not light.
The warehouse staff delivered the loaded trolleys to the front door, then rapidly retreated back into the store. No assistance to load car offered.
I feel the abandonment with 13 bags of heavy items to load, demonstrates a lack of staff training around customer care.

Super customer service

Hamilton is a lovely store great selection. And Gaye at the till was very knowledgeable with great customer service.
