Cheltenham Homebase

Visited the Cheltenham store for the first time today (from Evesham) to pick up a shoe rack. Checked stock before - 6 in stock, so all good. Couldn't find said shoe rack anywhere and the poor lad on the till (the only member of staff I could see on the entire shop floor) couldn't get hold of anyone to ask. So in the end I ordered online and waited for an hour to collect. Toilets out of action. Just all round disappointing visit unfortunately.

The gentleman that got my click and collect order had no people skills. The trolley was heavy with 6 bags of manure and he could see I was clearly struggling to manoeuvre it to the check out. He could have at least helped me get it started or even better taken it to the checkout. The store was very quiet so it wasn’t as if he was busy. On the other hand the gentleman at the checkout was chatty, polite and helpful.

Great service from store and great deals

After not getting the second same can of paint half price - it was dealt with promptly and kindly by Homebase. The click and collect process was really easy and quick too.

The reply is putting 'blame' on the courier. This shows Homebase have not read and understood the feedback!!!
Product is great but I wasn't happy about the £20 delivery charge. I tried to buy it from my local store which had 3 left but all of them were damaged.
Staff told me to order online instead as they couldn't order in store. I had to wait 2 weeks for delivery as well!

Severely lacking in customer service (one staff member couldn’t be bothered another staff member on the checkout was reading her book!) so much so that I phoned customer services & was assured a return phone call from the branch manager which I’m still awaiting.

I ordered 2 cans of farrow and ball online. Delivery was great and I took advantage of the offer. I returned one of the cans to Homebase as I had changed my mind on the colour and wanted to change it. This was done without any fuss, however zi couldn’t do a straightforward swap (even though the price was the same £59). I paid for the new can and was told a refund had been issued. The refund has come through at £45 instead of the £59 I had to pay for the swapped paint.

Really happy with Karen's design service and our new kitchen. Multiple alterations made to the plan and used fitter recommended by Homebase who did a brilliant job.

Used the ‘click and collect’ service (as we were driving 15 miles and didn’t want a wasted journey).
When the items were offered to us, they were actually the wrong colour (blue) we ordered ‘teal’, so had a worrying few minutes while the assistant went to find the right coloured ones, luckily they did.

Receptionist extremely polite and welcoming, entering the festive season with enthusiasm, so much so, that we hurried home to check if we could accommodate a large item (of which there was only one left) and placed another order on line. Brilliant salesmanship to the two ladies in the Click & Collect area on Wednesday! Thank you

flooring looks great down. the connection is good but can get damaged easy so be careful when doing it
