I like the ladies on the front desk they were committed to their job . I went to collect my package it wasn’t ready but as I said the two ladies facilitated it.
Finally this guy came to me with the damaged package and I refused to take it so he was upset saying it was only the cartoon in a rude way .However little that he knows that was my second time to come in person after I received the damaged package which was also same inside.I blamed the delivery guy but now I know who is to blame .I hope Homebase gets what to do next .

When I went to pick up my item, all the packaging was torn open and when I said to the lady that worked there, she said oh it’s only the plastic which I thought was very rude

The salesperson was extremely helpful and she went over and above in providing the items that the website incorrectly stated was in stock. My premature journey to the store was not wasted.

I had my kitchen designed by Liz.

My wife and I didn't really have a starting point. We did the usual. Shopping around the competitors spending too much time with people trying to sell us what they wanted because it was easier for them.

We instantly felt secure with Liz as she wasn't selling us. She was understanding our needs for the next 10 plus years as a growing family.

We paid for the kitchen in March and it has now been installed. The fit couldn't have gone any better, and I'm simply emotional over how we have the kitchen (Islington) that will be a show kitchen but also functional for a family.

Whilst Liz was on holiday during the fit Andrew the store manager made sure I wasn't alone should anything be needed or questions.

Didn't give all the items I had purchased and didn't inform also. Had to go twice to collect.

Very good service & very helpful

Plenty of staff around who despite being early quickly brought my click and collect products. Polite, courteous, and helpful throughout. Member of staff commended.

If I had one gripe it would be even on click and collect items they should offer a delivery service at a cost for the delivery,

My experience was good in that I got a replacement item. However, whilst I have been very pleased with the operation of my Powerbase Grass Trimmer (577144), and having a three year warranty, I am on my third product replacement because the spool cover breaks, lasting just about 12 months use. Each year I have returned and asked for a replacement spool cap, only to be told that these aren't supplied for this model. I therefore get a new strimmer as replacement under guarantee.
There are two issues: 1) that the spool cap isn't robust enough for the strimmer, or replacements need to be readily available; and 2) the cost of replacement of the whole machine is costing Homebase/Powerbase unnecessary expenditure.
I suggest either changing the spool cap to a metal one, or supplying two caps in the box, so that there is a chance that these will last the duration of the guarantee and therefore save the company costs in the long run.

Only one cashier !
We arrived to click & collect but the c & c point was the only place where there a cashier, As there was a queue of 12 so, we decided to check out the plants in hope that the queue would be shorter when another cashier appeared.
After 30 minutes we had chosen a few things to buy as well as our C&C shelving we had come to collect. The queue was even longer and the customer being served had bought 3 different plants but bought several of each type. The cashier was not scanning and entering the number of the total of the same plant so was taking ages. The queue got much longer but moved very slowly.
Meanwhile I had flagged down a member of staff whose English was limited , but said he would look for my purchase. Although he knew my name he brought out the wrong item twice. After a very long wait a man came from somewhere and pointed to us to come to his till.
He looked angry that he had to be there and was on the wrong side of pleasant when we asked about the C & C.
“ not me, mate, go back to the C & C counter”
There, the slow cashier was just finishing with the woman who had been in front of the queue, so I felt ok about showing her my C&C receipt. The woman who had been behind me in the queue objected and the cashier agreed that she should serve the woman. As I had been in the queue for more than 30 mins by then I demanded that I be given my parcel which had been paid for . I noticed a box with my name on it behind the counter so I felt that was the right thing to do. The cashier grabbed the parcel, ripped off the identity note and rudely shoved the parcel over the counter with bad grace. A most depressing experience. Sadlyi have had similar experiences in Homebases elsewhere.

The staff at Catford Homebase are brilliant - there's a few people who have been there for a quite a while and they are so helpful and friendly.
