Turned up to collect and the item was there waiting at the till for me. Perfect.

Had a receipt. Took back the same day! Told they were going into administration so NO returns or exchanges with a receipt!!! A joke!! Rob your customers who have been regular for years. Terrible. Stuck with 2 expensive items! BEWARE!!! 100% BUY without any doubt. Once they have your money it,s gone!

The service I had at Home base was excellent as are the staff.
I am absolutely gutted that they are closing. A great loss to our community

I chose a store where the items I wanted were listed as 'in stock' for Click & Collect. I was phoned before I went to collect my order that, unfortunately, some of my items were not available & their cost would therefore be refunded. I appreciated the notification & I still wanted to collect the other items so went to pick them up but, when I got back home, found that one item I'd ordered & paid for was missing. It was a negligible item & cost so not worth the journey back for. I would try the Click & Collect again, bearing in mind that the stock availability is only a guide but I'd check my order was all there before leaving the store. Other than that, what I received was fine & good value.

I visited a lot of places for my new kitchen and bathroom - Wrens, Howdens, B&Q and the service from Jason was exceptional from start to finish.

The kitchen and bathrooms are reasonably priced (this was a simple bathroom and shaker kitchen).

Jason talked through absolutely everything, followed up promptly and his customer service even went further following payment. He checked I was ready for the delivery, he gave helpful hints and tips, he checked how the fit was going and when I had one item arrive damaged by the courier he sorted everything professionally.

It’s really important to feel supported with such a large purchase and I absolutely did. There’s no doubt I would go back to Homebase Ashbourne and Jason in order to purchase future products.

Easy to order using click and collected and quickly notified that the item was ready. Very friendly and efficient Ashbourne staff on collection.

Ordered 1/2 round border fence online based on product seen in store. Used click and collect and found product not as described online.ordered 30cm x 1.8mx 50mm. Much lower quality fence supplied which was only 25mm thick , ie using 50mm1/2 rounds rather than 100mm1/2 rounds as shown and specified on web site not very happy. Lower quality wood and also thinner flimsy wire used to connect logs together too. Raised in store and was advised by assistant that only stocking this lower quality product now which is different to what described, ordered and was previously in store

My order was ready and waiting and the lady that served me was very polite and efficient.

Website easy to navigate. Item ready next day. Was promptly seen by a manager when I came to collect. All in all an excellent service. Always find the store well laid and staff exceptional. They're always ready to help and they have good knowledge about items on the shelf
