I am seen as a valued customer and do not always have to approach the staff for any queries as they are very polite and observant and will greet me when seen. My email address is well known to them so unless i say otherwise they will create my receipt online without any fuss. The running joke with all of them is that i am well known for making a purchase almost everytime i visit the store which is daily.

Excellent assistant at fop, really interested in helping find what I wanted and extremely pleasant throughout. The goods arrived safely and promptly. The experience was at FOP Nottingham.

Placed an online order for the Legends Z-A game in plenty of time to hopefully receive this in store on the release date. Received an email advising this had been despatched. The order has still not arrived in store after 5 working days, and have received no further communication or any updates. I went into the store and was advised the store do not hold stock of games, and to await for the order to arrive in store. I ended up ordering from Argos on the release day, and collecting this within an hour of ordering and it was significantly cheaper.

Quick and simple to order from, I got it delivered in store for pick up and had no issues what so ever, and the staff were so polite, and a joy to talk to.

The Blu Ray wasn't in stock, but they could order it for me, and post it direct to my house (free delivery).

Ordered an item online,no issues there. Got my email telling me to go collect my package, so went today 22/08/2025. Stood in place waiting to be served, as staff member serving two people. Two students wandered over, and stood off to the side of the people being served, they looked like they were with the customers at the till. Only when the people currently being served walked away leaving the other two behind did it become apparent that they had nothing to do with each other. The staff member then proceeded to serve them, which was a bit annoying, but perhaps I had been queuing in the wrong place?
So when I got called over, I asked for clarification on the queuing situation, and was advised that I had been in the right place. Now, it's quite possible that the annoyance I felt showed on my face as I advised your staff member that I had been waiting there before the people he had just served, who he had just admitted weren't queuing correctly. And he just looked at me: no apology, and no acknowledgement that I was annoyed with him. He just got my package, then gave me both it and my receipt in silence. So I left.
Now, I wasn't going to leave a Trustpilot review. Instead I was just going to leave feedback via your Hear My Voice survey. I don't expect an apology at this point, because if you have to complain or beg for one it's meaningless. The time for an apology was at the point where I stated I wasn't happy in your store. At the point where your staff member went completely silent.
However, I cannot complete your after sales survey, because it wants a 4 digit survey number, and my receipt has a survey number in the following format XXX-XXX-X. Which unsurprisingly I cannot input.
So, all in all, apart from the initial online purchase and your email communications, my experience with HMV with this transaction has been dire. I have scored you two because your website is great, and you have a wide range of items for sale. Plus I am lucky that there's also a Fopp in my city I can collect from instead. If that hadn't been the case, I would have scored you less
