Unless you enjoy playing whack-a-mole and losing, don’t apply for an apartment here.
I tried to apply thru their online website. Their site would not accept my ID for verification. I went to the office and after spending 2 hours with the Ofc Mgr, we still could not get the site to accept my ID. She was to contact her supervisor for a solution.
I finally got the site to accept my ID the next day. I was told it would take 48 hours to review my application and that my quoted rent amount would be held for 5 days. Then I was told I needed a co-signer, so my son filled out their online co-signers application and when asked for his name and he typed it in, the system overlayed it with my name. He tried this numerous times with the same result. He thought that was because he was the co-signer for me, so he submitted the application that way.
Four days later, we were informed that he didn’t signed the application. We explained the problem with the site and asked how we fix it. The Ofc Mgr didn’t know. She was to contact her supervisor for a solution. I asked if the apartment would be held until the issue was resolved and was informed that it would not but that we could reapply but the apartment would now be at a high rent, which of course was out of my price range.
I then made an appt to at least see the apt and see if it was worth it. 3 weeks before the appt, I was informed that my appt was being cancelled and did I want to reschedule. I advised that due to all the issues (site and otherwise), I was requesting that my $50 application fee be refunded. After numerous texts, emails and phone calls to both the Ofc Mgr and her supervisor, over a period of 2+ months I finally received the refund.
To add insult to injury, in the middle of this entire process, my son received an email advising him that his rent was due. When he called and ask how his rent could be due when he was informed that his application never went thru, he was informed it was yet again another glitch.
This nightmare last over 6 months.
