Really tasty meals, great customer service

Quite disappointed!
First of all , supposed to be READY MEALS! That means you can take them to work , heat them in microwave for 2 minutes and you can eat it. Nowhere near that! Some of them need 45 minutes oven!
Second , most of them are spicy , hence , horrible for some people. 3 days I had my stomach disturbed by the spicyness in the food.

Really tasty meals. Quick and easy delivery… really impressed and will order again!

Food was delicious. Although the portions were a bit small for me. Value for price was ok especially if you can't cook.

Really excellent quality food. Not afraid of a bit of spice which is good for me. Maybe could have a few more choices of vegetarian dishes especially curries. Will definitely be ordering again.

Healthy quick and efficient - love it

I have only given you 3 star rating because your delivery is not good at all.Just put in cardboard box with no insulation at all and the delivery company are terrible.Would not stop phoning for directions then couldn’t find us so my husband ended up fetching the order in the car.

It was my first order from Hey Fresto and I ordered 4 frozen meals. They arrived on time, beautifully wrapped and were delicious. Being an old lady on my own, it is a wonderful treat to have 4 days of non cooking each week.
I will certainly keep going with this company.

Everything was fine.The person on the phone was very helpful. I will order again when I get round to it. The food is in the freezer.Ihope it is good,!

The food was OK but the packaging put me off

I decided to try Hey Fresto after using another well known frozen food delivery company (who I've used for months) Hey Fresto food was ok, but in a couple of dishes I couldn't taste anything but chilli and the other dishes were OK, but didn't live up to the other company, even though they both cost the same price.

The presentation of the packaging looked cheap and not well put together, it put me off. The Flimsy plastic film on one of the meals had broken, so we couldn't eat it. If they don't take care with presentation, whats the food going to be like? There was no set time for delivery and I had to contact Hey Fresto to ask when it was coming. Worth a try, but not for me.

I bought this as a gift, to help someone during a particularly bad time. It was very much appreciated. Delivery was speedy and the meals were commended. So glad that I found you and that you delivered so quickly. Thank you.

Overall nice - a wee bit spicy but maybe that's just me :)

I ordered the vegetarian box. The order was processed and delivered promptly. The meals were tasty and superior to the supermarket ones I have bought. I would have liked one or two to be slightly larger. On the whole very pleased.

Excellent food at reasonable cost. Delivery as scheduled.

My second order. They need to be a bit more precise as to delivery time i.e. at least say "morning" or "afternoon", not just "we'll deliver on such and such a day". Delivery man only phoned because he was lost; did not phone/txt an hour or so before to update me on delivery time. Since the stuff is frozen, it's important that I'm actually IN; however, I can't be expected to stay in all day.
Only one point about the actual food - still getting inconsistent quality of meat pieces in all the curries etc. So, you might be enjoying the tender, well-cooked and soft beef or chicken in your dish, when suddenly you come upon a chunk of inedible tendon or gristle or connective tissue or similar. I suppose that at this scale, the chopping up of the meat has to be done by a machine, so everything goes into the pot. Unlike when you do it yourself at home and carefully cut out gristle and unwanted tissue etc.

Nice but portion size too small. Better for the elderly.

Food is excellent.However it was not delivered to my address but to another one in this development.I suggest that the driver rings me the next time so I can give him directions to my flat.

They far surpass anything from Waitrose or Marks and Spencer, I was absolutely pleasantly surprised at just how good these meals are.

I would order almost everything again and I ordered over 8 different meals, the only one I wouldn’t repeat is the Madras because of my palate, it’s was a tad to spicy for me, but that’s what you’d expect from a madras and the beef was very tender.

I loved the flavour of the katsu and the cumin potatoes I could literally eat every day.

The sage and lentil lasagne was another flavoursome delicious meal.

I’m a real foodie so it feels so good know I’m getting a decent meal and all I have to do is heat it in the oven. It didn’t even need a sprinkle of salt or pepper. Winner. As a busy Mum this means everything. Everything I ordered was also under 500 calories. Perfect alternative to reaching for yet another calorie laden takeaway.
