Was a long queue in the morning with just one person at the desk. Everything else was perfect

People at the Hertz desk were very kind and patient.

Member, you treated me like garbage and charged me $100! I am using Enterprise from now on. Never Hertz again

Had a 12:30 reservation. Cars were in the lot, but there was a delay of about 45 minutes before we got our car. That was after we checked in with the desk. There was only one person working the cars and one person behind the desk. Very little communication as to why the delay.

I arrived at Hertz on West 55th Street for my 5pm reservation to pick up my vehicle. I was told to wait 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, I was informed that this location had two vehicles in the class that I reserved. However, nobody could find the keys to either vehicle. I was instructed to go to the location at East 76th Street. Hertz did pay for my Uber ride there and the manager at 76th Street, Vasily, provided great customer service to me. However, what should have been a 30 minute round trip to pick up my vehicle turned into a nearly 2 hour ordeal. Also, the vehicle I was given had less than half a tank of gas. Not Vasily's fault as they did not know that I needed this vehicle, but that's a bad practice cosndiering I was driving upstate and at night. Vasily was slammed with other customers and he really saved the day for me.

Made reservation that included pre-paid fuel. Person who checked the car out somehow omitted the pre-paid fuel. Upon return, paid 2.5x market price for gas refill. Ridiculous.

The car was good and the workers were helpful but we had to wait over 2 hours for a car since they had a low inventory and high demand. This was unexpected and we were lucky we didn’t miss our appointments.

Very disappointing experience. The service was extremely slow. There were many customers waiting and only two employees assisting everyone. What made it worse was that both employees seemed completely unconcerned about the long wait. We waited almost two hours just to be helped and receive our vehicle.

They also did not have the vehicle I reserved, nor did they have a similar vehicle as stated in the rental agreement. Customers were becoming so frustrated that people were basically taking whatever vehicle was available.

To make matters worse, the car they gave me was dirty. Their idea of cleaning it was simply spraying the outside with a hose. They did not properly wash it, clean the inside, or even dry the exterior before handing it over.

Overall, the entire process was poorly organized, extremely slow, and far below what I expected from a professional car rental company. Definitely a very bad experience.

Great experience with Hertz in NYC! The staff was friendly and helpful, the car was clean, and the entire pickup and return process was quick and easy. Would definitely rent from Hertz again!

NO SIRIUS XM RADIO!!!!! I WAS GOING TO PAY FOR THE SERVICE AND WAS TOLD YOU STOP THAT SERVICE. THAT CRAZY!!!!!!!!!! THE VSA AT THE LOCATION LOOK AT 4 CAR TO SEE IF THE SERVICE WAS AVAILABLE TO PLEASE THE RENTER. I CALL ROADSIDE SERVICE I WAS GIVING THE NEW OF YOUR NEW POLICY ABOUT THE RADIO

The service was AWESOME 👏🏾 they were pleasant and made my renter a good success, I recommend Hertz before I recommend any other company, Hertz’s the BEST.
