Aleisha was very helpful when we came in to get a quote for travel insurance. She gave us a few options explaining everything. We opted for the higher level of insurance as it contained what we needed.

We were served by Aleisha who was very helpful and knowledgeable. We were able to book our preferred option of holiday. As there are 7 in our party with different needs, Aleisha was able to accommodate all of us.

I cannot praise Tegan enough. Without her help I would not have been able to find this great looking holiday. She has kept me up to date throughout the booking procedure and sorted out all that goes with it. I give her a gold star.

Hays Travel in Aylesbury are excellent … they were very helpful and efficient in booking our holiday to Plakias, Crete.
However we had a horrible first night !!!
Our flight landed at 11.45 pm in Heraklion and then we had an hours transfer to our appointments, arriving in Plakias at 2.15 am. The taxi driver dropped us off in a pitch black street and I informed us “ the apartments were “just down there” and drove off. Two 82 year old ladies trundled “just down there” with our cases and came to a wrought iron gate (no name) and could see a pool surrounded by apartments. No one around, no WiFi, so we sat round the pool all night until a maid came at 6.00 am !!! She spoke very little English but when I mentioned Christos and Chrysoula apartments she said “no, no, no this is Apollo Hotel, Christos and Chrysoula is “just down there and turn left”.
Not the best start to our holiday and certainly not the fault of Hays Travel but I think it should be looked into.
After we recovered from “our sleepover” we had a lovely holiday in Plakias, the apartments were very good with very friendly staff.

Never used Hays Travel before but Theo was so polite and helpful. He found us exactly what we were looking for and the process was much quicker than we thought. When we book again we will be asking for Theo. Hes an asset to your company and gives 5 star service
