I saw a Panasonic GH6 body that was heavily discounted and was prompted to enquire what sort of part exchange deal I might be offered for another camera I had to exchange. It was important for me to consider what I was going to be offered before making my decision but also to find out whether I would be offered a fair price. It was easy to fill out a form describing my equipment with all the options allowing me to give a true description. I was then advised that I would receive a response from the used camera department by the next day. Not wanting to loose time and to at least try and secure the new camera I wanted, I also spoke with the used department and based on my description of my equipment I was very quickly given a price that would work for me and which would allow me to move forward with the part exchange. Not only this, but Harrison Cameras were also able to arrange collection for me free of charge and then I would have to wait for them to confirm that they would hold their part of the offer. Of course, it takes a day or two for them to receive my part exchange and again what would happen if during this period they were to sell out of the camera I wanted to purchase from them? A quick discussion with their sales department resolved this concern and they were able to set aside a GH6 for me to allow time for the part exchange to be agreed. From the moment I contacted Harrison Cameras I must have dealt with at least 4 different persons both from the sales and the used department. Every single one of the team was so helpful and polite that they simply could not have been better. When we agreed the part exchange ( and they kept to their word) In then asked if I could pay the balance using PayPal? This was not a problem and they promptly provided me with an invoice to complete my payment. However, one word of advice here. If using PayPal you need to provide your delivery address ( verified with PayPal) which may differ from your home address. I say this as I received a refund notice from Harrison Cameras via PayPal and a request to make another payment. I was slightly cautious of this wondering if this was some sort of scam but two refunds later, I contacted the store to find out what was going on and it was properly explained to me and was clear that this was absolutely genuine and Harrison Cameras were simply following correct procedure. Additionally, I was not forced to wait ages for any refund and everything was processed almost immediately. Once the matter of payment had been resolved, I received my camera the following day “ brand new and boxed” and I was absolutely delighted. Although I have t had a chance to put the camera through its paces there is no question in my mind if I was not satisfied that Harrison Cameras would deal with any refunds/returns without any complications. I can’t imagine they would when they have been so genuine and helpful from the outset. It’s always a concern when one makes a purchase on line as many things can go wrong and irrelevant of any buyer protection there might be in place I guess no one really needs the hassle and the stress. This is the first time I have ever part exchanged anything on line and although I might have made a little more money selling on eBay I genuinely believe I was offered a fair deal and the team at Harrison Cameras simply made the whole process very easy and hassle free and I stress …
“ extremely professional and helpful ”. So, if you find yourself browsing the web to buy a camera or lens or wish to part exchange. Have a look at what Harrison Cameras have to offer. Give them a genuine description of what you have to offer and see if you can do a deal. You are always in control and it’s totally up to you if you want to proceed but at least from my experience I can wholeheartedly say that they will do their best to honour their part of the deal and they can be totally trusted. Thank you to all the team for being so helpful and reassuring. It has been without question an absolute pleasure dealing with everyone at the store as you have all been equal in your efforts to assist with my purchase and your customer service has been simply amazing.

Two stars may seem over-generous given that I didn't actually receive the item, which was lost by the courier company, but the stars are for Harrison's telephone contact service which was always easy to reach, kind and active in chasing up the courier. Fortunately I ordered a month before I absolutely need this item so, after 12 days waiting, I'm reordering somewhere else.

First Class experience. Rang up at 9am on Monday morning and spoke to Caroline about a Fuji XT-30 II Harrison’s were showing as in stock (which I’d ordered as ‘in stock’ elsewhere, which then turned out not to be), and I needed it for a rapidly approaching holiday.
Caroline was very helpful, friendly, and confirmed their actual stock and talked me through the options to secure and pay for said camera… which arrived at 10am the following day (on standard delivery which is quoted as 2 - 4 days).
Now, I suspect that I was just a bit lucky to get it so fast, but the quality of service really did take any potential drama out of the situation.
If only every online purchase was as enjoyable…

Extremely poor "customer service" (is an understatement)
They pushed me to contact the manufacturer to get parts replaced , when I know the contract is with the retailer , but I did as suggested (as I liked the product)

Repeatedly kept them informed with regards to progress, and at least two times I said if the problem wasn’t sorted by the manufacturer I would have no choice but to return the product…..
"Let us know what happens , keep us informed , thanks for the info" was the replies…. I kept them informed at every stage.

So the parts arrived approx 6 weeks after purchase, and they didn’t sort the problem….so I informed them that I wanted to return for a refund…..
And suddenly their response was "oh sorry we can’t take them back as they’re over 30 days old"

Had to get PayPal involved to get a refund …. They sided with me as I had everything in black and white via email.

I wouldn’t recommend this company to my worse enemy …. And I certainly won’t be buying from them again…..

Courier company messed up, Harrison's made sure the camera and film arrived before I left to the airport.

I was looking for a used Nikon 200-500mm lens and found 2 with the main used equipment places I've used in the past. But only in 'good' condition. Then I found one on Harrison Cameras, cheaper and in 'excellent' condition and with a better rate for next day shipping with DPD. The whole order process was seamless, the email communication was great as to when it was packed and shipped. The lens itself was exactly as described and looks almost new, and on a test run performs perfectly. I will absolutely be using Harrison Cameras again!

Bought a used camera online from Harrison cameras yesterday, just before the 2pm cut off for next day delivery option. Camera arrived just under 24 hours later, which was impressive, but even more-so, in my opinion, the camera far exceeds the condition described in the listing. It is in great shape. Really impressed with my first dealing with Harrison cameras, and know for sure I will use them again in the future. Thank you Harrison cameras for making this a pain free purchase, a lot of other retailers could learn a great deal from you on customer care and service.

The photo albums ordered were exactly what I needed/wanted. It is difficult to find traditional albums these days because people take/keep pictures on phones. They forget that in the future these will be lost/forgotten and then they have nothing to show to future generations.

Ordered Canon 180mm Macro lens described as Very Good condition on Friday. Arrived Saturday even though next working day was Monday. Condition was pristine. Very happy with Harrison Cameras.

I purchased an Olympus Zuiko telephoto zoom lens yesterday from Harrison Cameras in Sheffield. the service provided by Harrisons was absolutely amazing. The salesman I dealt with was extremely courteous,friendly and knowledgeable. The lens I purchased was exactly as described on the web site and very reasonably priced. In all a superb company to deal with. I shall certainly be visiting them again when I am in need of further photographic equipment.

Took in a oylmpus em5 camera that had a broken function button to see what advice they had for repairing it.they said they would send it away and would inform me of the repair price.they didn’t think it would be all that expensive for the repair and certainly worth repairing.paid the £10 for them to send it away and 2 weeks later they contacted me to say it was going to cost £350.just happened to be the same price as a couple of second hand ones they had in stock
I contacted Luton cameras after looking for other camera repairers who quoted £80 to repair.sent it of and it was repaired and fully tested for that price minus vat and postage
I feel that Harrison’s were clearly trying to rip me off and will not be doing any business with them in the future.I don’t recommend anyone else dose either

I ordered a 2nd hand Canon 7d Mk2, which had very low actuations. I chose to pay the next day delivery through DPD as I trust them but have little faith in Hermes/Evri.

I recently bought a second hand camera from Harrisons. I have never used them before.
The service was excellent. It arrived very quickly and extremely well packaged. The camera was exactly as described.
I had cause to contact customer services. They answered my email quickly and efficiently and very much to my satisfaction.

I was going to buy a used camera and was pleased to see that over £50 was post free to MAINLAND UK.

However when I went to pay, I discovered a charge of £5.99 for delivery to Scottish Highlands.
For a start Scottish highlands are part of Mainland UK.
Secondly, I do not live in the Highlands, so I was not going to pay for delivery. I decided to buy elsewhere - with FREE postage.

I wrote to customer service, but received no reply.

The website was simple to follow. I found the camera I was looking for and it ticked all the boxes. Ordering and delivering was complete within 24hrs.
I'm now tinkering with my D500. All seems well with camera.
Harrison offer an extremely reliable service and I will definitely be viewing their website regularly.
