My first visit to Harrison’s camera shop and it will not be my last ,the staff are brilliant and very knowledgeable.l traded in my old camera and lenses against a Lumix FZ 82 bridge camera , the prices they offered we’re very good, so a happy customer will recommend this shop .

My product came a little later than I anticipated based on their estimate (it took 5 days not 2-4 business days which is only significant because I needed it by a certain date) but otherwise it was decent service and products are great. Also when buying film, pay attention to how many photos it advertises -- again, my own fault so that's just user error lol. Would deffo buy again

At the moment no item recieved after chasing via PayPal I finally received tracking info. Apparently parcel left outside front door in full view, in fact it could be any front door. It so happened to be bin day as well. I did email to ask for info twice but no reply until I contacted PayPal. Hopefully I’ll get a swift refund rather than having to escalate to a PayPal claim . This is the reason I didn’t pay extra for Evri delivery as there are always issues with them . Item should of been sent signed for IMO anyhow. So partly Harrison’s fault in that they didn’t respond with updates and evri should of delievered parcel to a neighbour

I bought a Nikor 35mm f1.8 used lens in good condition. Takes photos as new. Very pleased with purchase.

Have dealt with them several times before and have always rated them highly. Unfortunately, however, I could not do the same this time.

I took four lenses down to part exchange after having received a quote via email. Harrison's initial offer was far below that I'd received from WEX but Harrison's had the item I wished to purchase in stock. When I pointed out that their offer was far below the other offer, they immediately said they could match it. All good so far.

Travelled down with the lenses, left them with them to check over only to be told that all 4 were in unsaleable condition because of fungus. One lens was brand new and all four had been checked over already at WEX.

I appreciate that they need to check things themselves, but all four being rejected seemed a little suspicious. I think they probably over-promised on the valuation in their effort to match WEX.

To make sure that what they had told me was genuine I paid to have one lens (the one that had never been used) independently assessed. It was classed as mint.

If they didn't want them, that's fair enough but their justification seems unreasonable.

All lenses have since been sold and the new owners have been totally happy with them.

So all in all a disappointing experience that has definitely put me off using Harrisons in the future.

Always excellent service over the years I’ve used Harrison’s! Mentioned in conversation one time my old Nikon D750 I used to have hadn’t been for a recall service with Nikon and even though I’d not bought the camera with them they sent it off for me!! They go above and beyond 😊

Unbelievable! Free customer car park, easy to find location. Huge stock, and having listened to my garbled list of priorities, the young lady produced a Nikon camera body, explained all its operations, then matched a lens to my requirements, and she hit the lower end of my budget, not the upper end. I bought a used 5D MarkIV Nov 2022. I can hardly call the camera used as it had only a 75 shutter count, almost new. I had issues with my payment method, so I had to reach out to them and the customer service agent that attended to my query was very helpful. The package came in earlier than I expected. The camera works great and I am very happy with my purchase

Top class customer service and a quick turnaround for a quality Sensor clean on my Nikon camera.

Paid for next day delivery of an item.
I was told it would arrive the next day.
It didn't.
So I enquired, and was told it would arrive the following day.
It didn't.
So I enquired, but received no response (ie, I phoned on the friday afternoon, and no one was available to answer my call, so I left a message on the answerphone, but nobody got back to me that day).

There we no problem at all i ordered online, very easy to do, and the lens was delivered with in 3 days, and the lens is in perfect condition as described.

I used Harrisons Cameras for the first time and it will not be my last. Item was cheaper than other company's on line. I saved between £10-25. Very quick postage, came quicker than expected. Very professional in handling my order. Will definitely use Harrisons cameras again.

Someone needs to revise the order acknowledgement email — the font sizes, layout and images are all wrongly displayed on some modern devices, like a phone for example, and it shows as From: Website. Also, why report the customer's IP address, was it coded about 20 years ago?

Not very happy. Placed order on website, order confirmed, 2-4 working days despatch/delivery, followed by an email to say items out of stock and May or may not be available for despatch in 7-14 days. If indeed they do arrive within 14 days it is not an issue for me on this occasion. However, if I’m then advised that they’re still unavailable, which seems to be the suggestion, that would create problems for me. This information should have been there at the time of ordering.

Free next working day delivery was a bonus when I decided to order a DJI Mini 2 Fly More Combo Kit from Harrison Cameras. Delivery was on time and I was soon out and about flying my new drone.

I highly recommend Harrison Cameras. Their service is second to none, nothing's too much trouble and all the Staff are very helpful & knowledgeable. New & especially used, I know I will receive the same level of service and get an honest, truthful appraisal of the condition and the peace of mind that all items are tested and checked before sale. Most of my purchases are now online, it's so quick and easy to order and the delivery service from both Harrison Cameras & Dpd is outstanding.

Frequent return customer to the shop over the past few years. The staff are always friendly and very knowledgable. I have had no issues with the cameras or excellent service I have received every single visit.
It is a super shop and well worth a visit for the all types of photographer. Camera shops like this are few and far between and they certainly keep the family owned feel to the shop, I simply don't go anywhere else.
