Good communication from Habitat/Argos regarding delivery of my sofa bed. It arrived on time and the delivery man was very polite. My only issue is that he said he wasn’t allowed to take the sofa bed upstairs and so he left it in my hallway. Impossible for me to lift alone and so I had to call a friend for help. Apart from that, all good, and really happy with my purchase.

Lost half my order and terrible customer service. When I rang, they didnt make much sense, sticking to an irrelevant script, when trying to find my lost item at the depot they couldnt get through as the telephone number was incorrect and the first person just cut me off because they didnt know how to handle anything. Second person slightly better but said I had to have the correct items I had received collected they couldnt reorder the whole order as it was out of stock so I would have to keep ringing back every few days! It wasnt out of stock I managed to order it online again fine at my own expense. I am now awaiting a (slow) refund that doesnt include delivery even though the multitude of errors were theirs.

The product (a cushion) was fine as described and expected, I’m giving 3 stars as it was the packaging it was packed in a clear bag which was not sealed it was completely open . I understand about cutting down on packaging but I would have preferred a paper bag that was sealed . The cushion was fine but that was more luck than anything .

Ordered a Margo Selby bobbin floor lamp over 10 days ago and it should have been delivered Monday,then Tuesday and we are now Saturday and still no lamp. Where is it please?

Good quality, attractive garden bench. Delivered quickly by two very helpful chappies who placed it exactly where I wanted it. Above and beyond which makes a change these days.

I made some purchases during the clearance sale and was initially a little sceptical because of the low prices. However, I was not disappointed at all. The quality was excellent, and everything exceeded my expectations. Great value for money.

Have bought this product before. It has the depth I need. Hasn't shrunk as some other fitted sheets I have bought. Competitive price.

Poor quality goods nowadays, especially since Argos took over.

The gas strut on my ergonomic desk chair failed after just 3 years, rendering a £200 chair completely unusable. The fact that Habitat only offers a 1-year warranty on a desk chair suggests they have very little confidence in the quality or longevity of their own products.

When I contacted customer service, I was simply told that I would need to obtain and pay for an independent inspection report before they would consider my claim. No practical assistance or goodwill was offered.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, products are expected to be of satisfactory quality and last a reasonable length of time. I don't believe a £200 ergonomic chair becoming unusable after only 3 years meets that standard.

I've been shopping with Habitat for around 25 years, but after this experience I'll be looking elsewhere for my furniture in future.

Would not buy a gift card from this place or any sainsbury and Argos outlet as a gift for anyone. It’s not easy to use, I had to go in store to get the issue resolved of having zero balance when someone had given me 50£, luckily they enclosed the receipt of purchase, otherwise no way of proving it. Sainsbury care line were useless and I had to go into store. I wonder how many people have gone through this and how many people they have scammed.

Ordered a grey set of drawers from Habitat via Argos. When arrived there were parts missing. Argos set out a new set and delivery drivers just took the bits out from new one for me.
Anyway assembled drawers and quite quickly could see that the drawers do not fit the runners and were constantly falling down. Rebuilt the unit with support bar at the back as looks like the middle was bowing outwards.
Well made no difference. The drawers are really too small for the unit to stay on the runners. Complete waste of money.

Habitat is such good value. Really like their products and delivery was excellent.

Ok comfy 70% and stylish 100% as a sofa but not a good sofa bed 0%. Needed to buy a mattress separately as it was not suitable to sleep on as it is very hard and you feel the frame 100% once opened
