Good range of equipment however Gym is too busy after work and it’s hard to use the sled because people keep getting in the way. Think it here should be a sign saying that the sled takes priority for one side of the track. PT’s need to understand this as well.

Great classes and knowledgeable trainers. Good hours with multiple locations that are easily accessible. Good vibe with very friendly and helpful staff

I’ve been a member of gymbox for a month now. The staff are friendly and the classes are great. Gym is always clean too.

Awesome classes, decent equipment, great layout, a very user friendly app and really lovely staff who seem to enjoy their job!! Really impressed with gymbox!

I am at Gymbox Victoria, and have recently joined! I have found that none of the weight bars are labelled - like not a single one! I am fairly new to working out and also neurodiverse - I can't tell by looking and / or holding a bar how much it weights! Labels are helpful!

Also the collars at the end of the bars for holding weights in place have a grip size catering to LARGE man hands! As a somewhat petite woman, I struggle to clip on the collars every time I lift weights.

Please can you sort this and get some accessible, easy to put on barbell collars - they are hardly an indulgence!!!

It took me a minute to get my head around booking but classes are great - real range of different types and levels. Gym floor is never too full and staff are friendly and helpful… Trying to get my daughter to join so I have a regular gym buddy but even fellow members are nice and make you feel welcome

This gym is sick. Love the yoga classes. Almost never wait for a squat rack. Great vibes. The workers are super friendly.

Unreal gym, everything you could ever want from a gym for Hyrox, bodybuilding and everything else really. Massive array of equipment and nice and tidy in all the locations!

My favourite gym London has to offer! From the mood lighting giving you all the motivation, to the Live DJ’s, to the incredible classes.
The equipment range is fab with plenty of choice for each muscle group & there’s also everything you need if you wanted to start a new training style/hobbie ei, callisthenics, boxing, aerial classes, kick boxing, dance classes, breath work classes, hyrox.. you name it they’ve got a class for it.

But out of it all, the community of this gym is what stands out the most to me. Everyone helps one another, there’s no judgment & everyone is super friendly!

Great atmosphere - and versatile equipment
for every training approach... And don't get me started on the showers! I can't get ready anywhere else other than my house, but GB is one of the only gyms, I'm able to do this at. A real testament to the cleanliness.

Gymbox has a wide variety of training equipment which allows me the freedom to train what I want, when I want. Said equipment is plentiful and always of a good qaulity, allowing me to get the most of my workouts.

So good for hyrox training!!

I have recently signed up for a hyrox and went with a friend last week as we couldn't find a gym with all the correct equipment, but gymbox has it all!!! So clean also, cannot recommend enough!

I've been a member of this gym for almost a year now.
This is my opinion:

+ what drew me to Gymbox is the amount of classes they provide and how versatile they are - I am sure they're the best in London. I love Muay Thai, Dancehall, Yoga, Aerials, Olympic Weightlifting , Swingers and many more.
+ the receptionists have been great and nice in each of the branches I visited
+ the facilities are very cool, I love the lighting, the interior design, the music
+ the instructors are so thorough, knowledgeable and helpful! they make you want to be back and not skip a class
+ the gym's marketing team is the hardest working in the country for sure ;)
+ there are many incentives to get people to sign up like a month or two for free when you join the Gymbox. that's a huge discount considering their prices.
+ they keep coming with new fun classes, anyone can find something they would enjoy here and have such a great opportunity to try out different things - makes the whole experience so much more fun and exciting (also great for meeting new people)

- I've recently been to other branches which are so nice, modern and spacious - Stratford is not a small gym but we do struggle with the lack of space sometimes. I appreciate that they do want to provide us with all the classes, equipment that other ones have though
- when I was signing up, I was surprised that I couldn't find the price charts anywhere and you would want for the gym to be transparent and fair about this aspect.
- I have experienced an insanely pushy 'Sales Guru' at one of the branches who did say that I should sign up NOW to get my body looking good for the summer (time's running out) and when I said I need more time to think about it, she said the price is the same for a few glasses of wine per month and there's no excuse. I left super annoyed, I genuinely wanted to find the best possible place for me and I needed for someone to provide me with information about the gym, not bully me into signing a contract. fortunately, a month later I spoke to another manager (Adam) at another branch and he was super helpful, clear and attentive so I ended up joining the gym at last and I have been very happy with my choice.

I'll also give a shout out to Jamie - he is always present, alert (when it comes to safety), clear with his instructions, fun and so so competent.
I've also really enjoyed the classes with:
Richard Lee, Sam Bradley, Beau Martinez, Sofja Zolobova, Alison Vella, Tyra, Malakai...

Overall, You can't go wrong with Gymbox, they're definitely worth a shot. tbh I can't imagine not being their member anymore - where else can you shake your a**, kick a**, lift like a bada**, all in one evening?

I am a returning member and so glad to be back as I only left as the location was no longer near my new work. Lots of unique classes to keep you interested if you are stuck in a fitness rut. Looking forward to making this my second home.

It was clean and there was enough space and lesson and lecturer was so nice. But it was smelling weird in changing room and towels as well. I am having this problem there is couple of times.

Not enough classes.

My experience with Gymbox Farringdon has been nothing short of disappointing and frustrating. After a promising initial visit, where I was given a tour by Amin, I made the decision to switch to Gymbox from my previous gym due to overcrowding issues. However, the reality of my membership experience quickly fell short of the promises made during that visit.

During the tour, Amin assured me that I would have access to equipment and that the gym would be quieter during my preferred workout times. Unfortunately, upon joining and returning for my first workout session, I found the gym to be overcrowded, with limited access to the equipment I needed. This stark contrast to what was promised during the tour left me feeling misled and disappointed.

Furthermore, the sign-up process felt rushed and pressured. Despite my inquiries about a trial period, I was pushed into a 12-month commitment without being presented with all available choices. This lack of transparency and the pressure tactics employed during the sign-up process are unacceptable.

Throughout my correspondence with Gymbox regarding these issues, the customer service has been lacking. Despite raising concerns about the misrepresentation during the sign-up process and the overcrowding issues, I have been met with delays and excuses. After almost a month of back-and-forth communication, I am now being charged an exorbitant exit fee of £65.31 to terminate my membership, further adding to my frustration.

In summary, my experience with Gymbox Farringdon has been characterised by misleading information, poor treatment, and a lack of transparency. I would strongly advise others to avoid this gym and consider alternative options where honesty and customer service are prioritised.

Additional Note: During the emails exchanged with Gymbox, the process lasted almost a month, and despite being misled throughout my experience, I am now being charged an unjust exit fee. This further illustrates the disregard for customer satisfaction and reinforces my decision to leave a negative review.
