Total scammers
This company are total scammers. I attended Wrightington Hospital. I was not there long. I went to the payment machine to pay for my parking and the machine screen stated there was nothing to pay so I left. I then got a parking charge letter charging me £75 (£45 if I pay within 14 days). I appealed this charge because the machine said there was nothing to pay. My appeal was declined stating that if the machine would not let me pay then I should have downloaded the app and paid on there. What a joke. If the machine was saying £0.00 to pay then why would I download the app as surely that would say the same. To me, the machine was working and I took what it said as correct. This is a total scam. If the machine is giving false information then I should not be penalised. Nexus are corrupt scammers taking advantage of poorly and dying NHS patients. Shame on you.
This company is completely scam
This company is completely scam. I made the payment using their machine and received confirmation at the time, yet I still received a fine. What is even more absurd is that I provided a screenshot from my bank account showing that the payment had been processed, although it appeared a few days later due to bank processing times, and they still rejected my appeal.
Disgraceful company
Disgraceful company. I found Group Nexus parking instructions hard to follow - I think it's deliberate - there are so many words to read! A simple notice saying 'pay on exit' for example would be helpful, with clear hourly rates. Their fines are unreasonably priced and they shouldn't be getting away with ripping us off whether visiting someone in hospital or when shopping. I've had two fines, one visiting my mum in hospital in August 2024 and the other 0n 5th May this year in Broadfields, Aylesbury. We live in a country that permits these scum bags to operate - what does that tell us about the elite's attitude towards us?
A brilliant company
What a great company, led by supremely intelligent people who identified a gap in the market (‘we can charge people money, in an existing car park that we didn’t build, and we can get all that money for doing nothing). And, what’s more, we can install parking machines that don’t work properly so we can fine people whenever we feel like it. We can create on online website for people to appeal (knowing that older people struggle with the tech) and then make it really confusing for people to actually contact us to do any sort of appeal. Most people will give up, so we earn even more money. The icing on the cake is that we can charge people and fine them whenever they are seriously unwell and at their lowest ebb. Genius. If anybody visiting hospital doubts the existence of God, then they should rest assured because after dealing with Nexus they certainly know that Satan is alive and well.
Parking companies are never going to…
Parking companies are never going to get good reviews. I received a PCN for a violation at Colchester Hospital which I appealed immediately with proof of my appointment at a team which provides free parking which is recorded on a screen at checkin.
My appeal letter wasn't responded to so I received another letter so I re-sent the evidence. 28 days after the appeal letter was received by them (royal mail tracked) I receive a one sentence letter confirming the fine has been cancelled.
Thank you Nexus. You lose two stars for the lack of acknowledgement of the appeal letter and apology for threatening me with prosecution because you hadn't processed my initial letter
Scam Company lacking morals.
Visited Shrewsbury Hospital today to admit myself to A&E/Urgent Treatment. Unable to find parking after 10 minutes, I had to leave the grounds to use the Park and Ride. I had heard so many horror stories about the parking that on arrival to A&E I thought I’d check there was no payment due for the 10mins I tried to find parking, yet I owed £4 fee. Bearing in mind I have a medical condition that requires urgent treatment.
Due to the concerns of parking charges, I felt there was no option but to pay despite my car being 2 miles away in the Park and Ride.
I was then admitted to a day ward and on discharge, out of curiosity checked my registration again. Even though I had paid £4 for 10mins some 5hrs earlier, it now said I was due to pay again but £7.50. My car was still 2 miles away in the park and ride. I’ve kept all receipts, discharge letter, bus tickets etc, because I know that this company will try and scam me again by issuing a fine, let alone already trying with 2 parking charges.
BEWARE
More like zero stars! Worst Mickey Mouse company I have had the misfortune of having to waste my time dealing with. Over stayed slightly in a motorway service station in Cumbria. Fine issued via post which I paid £60 immediately on the day I received the fine, accepted I had stayed over the allotted time which was free (my fault) Payment shows it had been taken out of my bank account by CP Plus Ltd which are Nexus Group. I even received a receipt of payment via email. Fast forward a couple of weeks later, another fine dropped through the door to the amount of £100. Immediately tried to contact the company via phone, to my surprise there are no humans actually available to speak with, just a bunch of options on an automated message to select from which are a complete waste of time, suspicious! I then email the company & tried to attach my evidence to support which was payment receipt & also bank payment to which I discover it was impossible to attach anything to the email, suspicious! I eventually get a reply from whoever to say they require reference numbers etc off the emailed receipt (time wasting) they had all the details needed as it was visible to me on documentation I had. Clearly avoiding the evidence I had provided. After all the evidence I had sent via several emails they replied with an email saying there was zero parking fines attached to my vehicle reg, basically admitting it was cleared. I asked for this to be wiped from their system so as to no longer receive anymore crap through the post issuing fines. I thought this may be the last time I have to deal with these cowboys. I then receive another email off them to say the fine was still active (even after they admitted there was no fine payable) I then received an email to say I need to appeal the fine, to which I wasted more time doing, received an email days later to say appeal had failed, what a surprise! I replied with my intentions going forward & that I would not be paying anything further, you have the evidence deal with it & then ignored any further correspondence from this joke of a company. I have since in the last few days received a debt recovery letter
with a fine of £170 to pay (last chance) & if not paid threats of bailiffs & court. I rang the debt recovery agents & as it is now been passed to them by their clients Nexus Group that there is zero they can do. I was offered to pay now or set up a payment plan for recovery of the fine, I declined & told them it will not be paid as it has already been paid once & within the time frame. I have sent yet another email to Nexus Group to remind them that I have all evidence & this will be used against them if bailiffs turn up at my property & also if it proceeds to court, unless it is cancelled, which they will not have a leg to stand on. I refuse to waste anymore time on these low life’s nor will they get another penny out of my pocket for there incompetence of TRYING to run a company which in my eyes is just another scam/fraud
The company fined us £60 for parking…
The company fined us £60 for parking without paying but, before we left the car, we looked for a display board. There were none (outside Buzz bingo in Barnsley) so, when we got the fine, we appealed. We told them that we would like photos of the signs but none were forthcoming. We, therefore, then tried to pay online but this was not possible so we rang the automated teller. She asked for the reference number on the letter and I typed them in and I could see the numbers were correct on my phone but she repeatedly said INVALID! Eventually she accepted and then she told me the number on my debit card was incorrect when, once again, I could see the numbers WERE correct. Eventually I ran out of credit and posted them a cheque only for this to be returned a week later saying it was sent to the wrong address. I then received a letter saying I owed them £100 as my early payment credit had expired! It’s all a SCAM!!!
After my visit to hospital
After my visit to hospital, I was sedated and nurse walked me to the car to speak to my partner. She reminded me to pay for the parking which I did but received noticed few weeks later anyway. This has been cancelled after showing a receipt but it was clear attempted fraud.
Faulty payment machines and unfair charge handling
I attempted to pay for parking using multiple on-site machines, all of which failed to function correctly. In at least one case, the machine indicated that payment had been processed, which reasonably led me to believe I had complied with the requirements.
Despite providing this information, my appeal was rejected without properly addressing the issue of faulty equipment. I was instead told to use an alternative payment method via an app, which was neither clearly communicated nor helpful at the time given the circumstances.
This raises concerns about the maintenance of payment systems and the fairness of enforcement practices. Drivers should not be penalised when reasonable attempts to pay are made, especially when the operator’s own infrastructure is unreliable.
Very disappointing experience overall.
Only care about money, not customer experience
They're very quick with the communication when they want to give you a parking fine, but they don't bother responding when you raise concerns about that fine.
My teenage daughter got a parking fine because she didn't realise from the signs that the maximum stay still applied outside charging hours. I paid the fine because locals all say Nexus never accept your appeal, and I didn't want it to go up from £60 to £100 (which it would have by the time they processed the appeal). But I also emailed to ask why they felt a maximum stay was necessary in the evenings (given that the car park serves restaurants and a theatre) and also to raise concerns about the signs not being clear (or even consistent across the car park) - they haven't bothered to answer this.
i went to george eliot hospital…
i went to george eliot hospital nuneaton,i was there 46min 10 sec,i went to there machine is said i need to pay 3 pounds i paid,3 week later got letter from these cowboys wanting me pay a fine of 30pounds.please please make sure get a receipt and keep it safe

Unacceptable i had a ticket for only parking in a parking bay only for less than a minute. Same week received penalty notice plz everyone do not hesitate too report this company so people could prevent from getting fines. Completely unacceptable ripping of people.
0 if I could, VILE
0 if I could. Absolutely VILE robotic company - depicts everything that is wrong with this country & society in general these days.
This is a big scam of a company- shocking customer experience
This is a big scam of a company financial exploiting the public, sometimes at their most vulnerable for example hospitals parking stay. I parked at NGH in January for just over 40 minutes, on my return I inserted my ticket and the machine confirmed’ no payment’ it clearly displayed £0.00 to pay and I could not pay as my ticket had no payment fee registered. I was shocked to then receive a ticket for £80, I wasn’t even sent the first discounted ticket. I explained and provided the above narrative including requesting they view CCTV footage as they would see me and potentially the machine error. This was completely ignored instead sent a discounted fee £40. I continued to explain the situation instead was told that I should have paid as there are many signs about payment. I again referenced their machine making the error that meant I could not paid as it clearly stated my session had zero payment fee registered. Whilst still seeking a resolution the fee was hiked back to £80. I have tried their regulator but unfortunately the link provided didn’t work on three occasions so I gave up and begrudgingly paid an amount am so certain is wrongful charged but this company work so aggressive and uses threatening language. I am utterly disappointed, shocked at how they are allowed to operate in modern Britain using such standard and more so even being contracted to provide parking at hospitals. After reading the reviews I felt better I wasn’t the only one but sad that regardless of the resounding negative reviews with similar themes they haven’t been investigated for the day light robbery.
They should be ashamed to provide such a service and have no morals to rob people like this.
Would give zero if I could
Would give zero if I could. Just received a letter stating I hadn’t paid for parking and yet like all the other comments on here, I had paid at the machine. They need to sort their administrative processes to stop this from happening. Especially when we had paid at the machine at the location, having followed the signage to the parking machine.
I would have been frustrated at any point, but right now I’m struggling to cope with the sudden death of my wonderful father, exactly a week ago today, to now have to deal with these incompetent idiots is pushing my level of coping to the limit.
The government needs to step in and stop these companies from operating.
Disgusting and criminaIs, a total scam!
Abbotsinch Retail Parking, Paisley B&Q
I would give Group Nexus -1000 stars if I could!
They displayed a sign board for max stay of 3hrs at one corner and when I went in from another road, I missed the board. I parked right outside the trade centre of B&Q and surprisingly there's no sign board there and I assumed it's a free parking (of course it's my mistake). I, without knowing this, went in B&Q for shopping and stayed little over 3hrs and today I received a charge letter for £60 or £100 if paid after 14 days.
This company should not be allowed to get away with it. They purposely prey on the people to pay fines by not displaying parking notice boards clearly visible on every parking corner. I can only wish the owner of this parking lot suffer 10x than the people who all paid fines and the company go bankrupt soon and it will happen one day for sure!
extortion racket
Even though we had a permit for free parking at Guildford Hospital Oncology , and correctly followed all the protocols like displaying the permit and logging in, they still send a fine every time.
I gave date of experience below, the date of my appointment although the fine arrived today 20 March, but that was not the only one.
Demanding money out of people illegimately like that is criminal behaviour. In my opinion , they know these fines are not legitimate, but charge them anyway hoping that most of their victims won't bother to appeal. Paeticularly mean and vicious at a hospital car park where victims are stressed by illness. I wonder how much money they've taken illegitimately in this way. They really ought to be investigated for criminal activity.

WHY WOULD YOU EVEN WANT TO WORK FOR A COMPANY LIKE THIS.GOVERNMENT SHOULD BE SHUTTING THESE PEOPLE DOWN NEXUS, PARKING EYE ETC. ABSOLUTE SH@TS
We went cinema in vue Northampton on…
We went cinema in vue Northampton on 19/8/23 and registered our car for free parking. On 6/10/23 from GroupNexus letter pad with Parking charge Ref. Number with Sol.NN1 on it and photo of our car showing number plate and still we're using that car from Parkingchargepayment we got a parking penalty fine of £60 and they took £61.50 from us and not given any receipt to prove the money they taken. How they charged parking penalty fine for a car details already registered for free parking. Anyway we have lost our earned hard working money unnecessarily. Beware friends this type of incidents happens at any time. We also kept the copy of parking penalty fine papers with us after years passed. So be very careful when parking the car and not forget to register for free parking and check the time. Otherwise they are checking every time in camera and if we late 1 minute then they will charge parking penalty fine. So beware not to lose £61.50 unnecessarily our earned hard working money.
