I purchased a greenhouse one year ago which was not correctly installed. I dealt with the incorrect installation with the fitter separately, but was disappointed with the customer service I received from Greenhouse Stores (the distributor) and Vitavia, the greenhouse manufacturer.

They were slow to respond to my complaint, and I had to google a different email address to the one cited in my purchase receipt before I got any response at all.

They didn't have sufficient stock to make it easy to send replacement parts. Instead they sent very vague instructions for sourcing replacement glass panes 'from local glass suppliers'. This is not user-friendly for a retail client.

When I had an issue with the greenhouse they were only able to send me a list of how the greenhouse was not fitted correctly, yet my installer tells me that some of your assessment was incorrect.

Furthermore, the assembly instructions are too complicated compared to competitors e.g. simplicity greenhouses.

When I sent them this feedback they seemed to just argue my points rather then take any feedback on board. They didn't even apologise for ignoring my first few emails that went to an email address they don't use anymore - the most basics customer service error!

It doesn't bode well for the after-care of my greenhouse which I hope will last for decades and to need further after-care. I have since heard that simplicity greenhouses are much better and wish I had purchased one of those.

Placed an order using this site then found the same greenhouse cheaper elsewhere. Emailed customer service to see if they would price match even though I'd already paid and they very quickly replied and refunded me the difference!! Delivery was super quick and overall very impressed with the company and the greenhouse.😊

This company can only get 5 stars all round. Fantastic service, any issues dealt with so fast and accurately, helpful, handy easy to deal with and pick up the phone immediately, no on hold no hassle nothing is too much trouble. I couldn't reccomend them enough. Quality product easy to understand 👌

Great quality greenhouse although the instructions were slightly difficult to read!

We ordered a small greenhouse. The quality was very high and was delivered as described. Easy to assemble and easy to install.

Awful awful company

3 days I was told for greenhouse base - 8 days later nothing - 9 emails ignored , phone calls ignored

Nightmare company! Just read reviews and it looks like, when they deliver on time all is well? But when a delivery has got into the 3rd month it’s a total joke company. I’m also on hold for over 10 minutes at 3pm in the afternoon and no one is answering. 4th call today as well. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I will update if things improve.
I’ve since had to pester slightly but it worked and my shed is being delivered today. They had real issues with their supplier and had to upgrade my shed. So it was a terrible start, but they have redeemed themselves slightly. Cheers to Ian who managed to resolve this issue for me.
Update. They are now threatening to remove this post if the don’t give them further information? And a year later, unsurprisingly.
The shed came well packed to be fair. After a fair bit of unpacking i was ready to go. Unfortunately the roof was an absolute nightmare! I had to use some extra wood to get it straight as it’s poorly made up of four separate pieces. I did everything the guide said and it’s laid on a nice new flat surface. It still took ages to get it to a level where the felt lay nicely, but I managed a decent level eventually.
My advice if you thinking of a shed from this company is to get them to build it. What it costs in hard cash will be made up by you having a stress free full day.

The experience from beginning to end was impressive including details of the necessary foundations required. The final product is of exceptionally high quality with friends and neighbours very impressed.

I would 100% recommend greenhouse stores for there support,product,delivery & knowledge. They delivered installed on time, on budget with no hidden costs. Professional installation guys that were polite, clean & tidy. Thank you.

Well worth waiting for my greenhouse as it is just what i wanted it was erected on th date thst we agreed and the fitters were very efficient

Greenhouse arrived on time unfortunately some glass got broken but quickly resolved by Vitavia assembly crew were excellent would certainly recommend them Greenhouse is a great addition to our garden especially in green

Great company to deal with, order simple and as long as their requests are followed and complied with they are very help and efficient. The company are good communicators and keep you informed of progress and delays should the occur. Fitters arrived on time worked well and at a good speed, they are very clean and know what they are doing. Overall very satisfied.

Review of Greenhouse purchase for Wooler
The fitting team of two arrived early after a long journey. They were very friendly and businesslike. They got on with the job immediately and carried out the work quickly and methodically. The job was finished in well under 2 hours. The end product looks excellent and is well designed. My wife seems to spend half her life pottering in the greenhouse now. The whole process from order to installation was handled professionally by Greenhouse. We're very pleased.

When it rains it hold the water in the corner joints so I am waiting for some to fix this but other than that it looks lovely

Terrible company, I tried to order a greenhouse with a base, at which point I was told the “free” postage wasn’t free despite this not normally being the case for my postcode.
When the greenhouse finally arrived the base was missing and I was rather rudely informed that for some reason it hadn’t been ordered, and they wanted another £120 odd to send me one!
Also when you phone the number on their emails you end up speaking to the manufacturers who just happen to employ the same guy who runs greenhousestores🙄

Wish I’d paid a little bit more for a better product and decent customer service…
