Recently had my husband’s funeral at Greenacres Rainford.
Every detail was perfect just as requested.
Beautiful grounds and setting.The staff are so respectful and genuinely care.
We couldn’t have wished for more.
It gave us so much comfort to know we had given him such a beautiful send off.

My Dads funeral Service.
From first contact viewing the site with my dad months before he passed the staff were warm welcoming.
The setting is peaceful in woodland. Easily accessible on the outskirts of Norwich.
The memorial room is hexagonal with a full wall of windows overlooking the woodland surrounding it.
It catered in all respects to enable music and photos and plenty of seating and heating.
There is no preasure for yr service. They only allow a max of 2 services a day I believe.
In summary it is a head and shoulders better than the regular local crematorium options.
The only comment I would say that it isn't advertised enough. I knew about it through another service I went to there.

Greenacres staff were respectful and considerate at a difficult time making everything run smoothly and with dignity. I'd like to thank them for being so genuinely caring. Thank you from a very grateful family.

I wish I had the words to truly thank the amazing people that oversee this beautiful burial ground.
Along with my family we said goodbye to my sister on Monday, she was the most beautiful and amazing human being and I honestly didn't think there was anywhere that could allow us to say our goodbyes in such a magical way.
The service hall is stunning, it felt as though the outside was brought inside, the huge glass doors were open. We could feel the breeze as the sunshine streamed in, the birds were singing as we watched them peacefully going about their business and little Robbins came to visit.
We were not rushed in the slightest and we all felt we could truly say goodbye in the way my sister deserved xxx

We recently held my sister's service at Greenacres Heatherley park, which was the best decision we could have made. The cremation option they provide is better than anything offered at our local crematorium.
The location is both beautiful and peaceful.
And as the service was taking place in the light and spacious service hall, the doors were kept open throughout so we could bring a little more nature inside.
However, it was the staff that made the experience so wonderful. Their patience, understanding, and willingness to help were greatly appreciated. Throughout the process, we did not feel rushed or like we were part of a conveyor belt of services.
In my experience of working in the funeral industry for more than ten years, I cannot express how refreshing that is. And as a result of the excellent service we received, we were able to ensure that my sister's funeral was perfect.

From the ceremony, to the scattering, to the plaque placement, the attention and care has been amazing x we love walking the dogs there and visiting mum and dad’s resting place. They died within two months of each other last summer and our peace comes from this very very special place.

As a Funeral Celebrant, I officiate at many funeral locations in the South East. My nearest is GreenAcres Epping Park. Beautiful, nature-rich surroundings where, right now, we can visibly see a month of new dawning when nature begins to stir, preparing us for new beginnings around the Park and where we will notice lots of flora emerging from their sleepy roots, branches sprouting new leaves and flowers. As Spring is on its way the deer, the birds, rabbits, squirrels and other wildlife become more active as a new season begins. It really is a true Circle of Life and I am proud to say GreenAcres is my favourite location to officiate a funeral service. At the end of this week I will be taking a service at Chiltern Park. I am sure that it will be another wonderful woodland and parkland ideal for a funeral ceremony and graveside service. Thank you for all that you do in keeping your locations so unique and natural for those saying goodbye to their precious loved ones.

I can’t rate the service at Colney highly enough. After a sudden unexpected loss in our family just before Xmas we wanted a plot close to where my Dad was laid to rest. The staff were excellent from the very first visit to choose the plot to the final laying to rest of the ashes. Everything was just as we wished and we were always treated with care and compassion throughout. Everything was made so much easier with such help and kindness from the staff.
I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful resting place for loved ones. It is a lovely peaceful setting to visit afterwards too. Thank you to everyone involved.

As a first time celebrant I received so much help, encouragement and support for the service. Firstly from Angie showing me round and then from Lesley on the day. This enabled me to give a beautiful service and send off for a very old friend. All the staff were kind, helpful and efficient. It was an excellent experience for the mourners and for me. A perfect place for saying goodbye

We recently held my dad’s funeral service at GreenAcres Epping Park, and honestly, it couldn’t have been a more peaceful setting. The woodland surroundings were exactly what we needed - calm, comforting, and a little bit of nature's magic in such a tough time.

The sun was shining and we even spotted a few squirrels darting between the trees - a lovely reminder of how special this place is. It was also heartwarming to see other visitors walking through the park, some quietly reflecting, others with children happily skipping along in the sunshine. It really felt like a place where life goes on, giving you the chance to pause, reflect and remember. GreenAcres isn’t just for services - it’s somewhere you can come back to when you need a peaceful moment in nature.

We can’t thank Tracey, Lisa, Shona, Amanda, and the whole team at Epping enough for their kindness and care. They made everything feel personal and special. We’re also really grateful to Barringtons Funeral Directors for their support and to Victoria Travers, our celebrant, who led such a lovely, heartfelt service.

GreenAcres truly was the perfect place to say goodbye to our garden-loving dad, and we’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful location for a service or a lasting memorial. It’s a wonderful spot to return to and remember a loved one. Thank you so much.

The setting in the Chilterns is beautiful, tranquil and very conducive to a personal service. It's wonderful not to feel rushed - unlike previous experiences I have had at the crematorium where it felt like you were on a production line. The staff are so helpful, sympathetic and kind They made the whole process very easy for us at such an emotional time and accommodated everything we asked for. The Epping Forest team at Greenacres were responsive, helpful, courteous and considerate.

The place is breathtaking and the services was just so personal . I would recommend this place to anyone. It is such a sad day for anybody who has loss a love one but for our family it was just the perfect place and it felt so right .

We were so happy that we chose Greenacres to hold my father’s ceremony. It’s an utterly beautiful setting, you feel completely surrounded by nature, and the staff were so discreet and respectful. It was perfect.

We first got to know about Greenacres Beaconsfield about 12 or13 years ago when Mum and Dad chose a double plot and they were both impressed with how they were dealt with and the level of service they received.We lost Dad just over 11 years ago know and we love the spot he was buried in and remember the care and attention to detail that the staff put into his burial.We found ourselves back there yesterday as we laid Mum to rest and nothing had changed service wise from start to finish,A special shout out to Geraldine who went above and beyond in helping send our Mum off in a most respectful way,she is a true professional and we truly thank her for all of her efforts

We recently held a service for my partner at GreenAcres Rainford on 20/01/2025 and it was the most beautiful place to say goodbye to a loved one. The calming service hall, peaceful grounds, and tranquil ambience made it the perfect setting for our young children to remember their dad. We had a beautiful service for my Mum at GreenAcres in Rainford last week and it really is the most wonderful place to say goodbye to a loved one. Everything about the park is just perfect; the service hall, the grounds, the team and the general ambience of the place. We had chosen GreenAcres after attending a funeral there some years ago. The wonderful sense of calm of the surroundings was supported by all members of the staff. There was no haste or fuss in our dealings with anyone at GreenAcres.
On the day itself everything went smoothly with positive comments from family and friends from UK and abroad.

A beautiful place for farewell to a loved one

I had never been to a ceremony at the Greenacres park but wanted to look at alternatives to a crematorium for my husband Patrick.
Brad Pianta, who took me round, showed me everything and the various options regarding commemoration spots. It is a beautiful woodland place and seemed just right for my artist husband
Patrick's service was just what I wanted for him. In letters and cards afterwards our friends have all said what a wonderful place and a beautiful ceremony it was.

My partner passrd away last February and we chose to have the funrral At Green Acres Heatherley outside Grayshott in Hampshire. Tge staff were fantastic - caring, compassionate and efficient. It was a beautiful setting to say farewell to my partner. Thanks to all at Heatherley for all they did
