We had my mums funeral service at greenAcres on 07/08/2025 I’m so glad we chose this venue as it was perfect from arrival (grounds men bowed their heads with total respect) to the time we left staff were amazing. Such beautiful outlook throughout the service.
Would 100% recommend.

Whilst the day of mum's funeral went well (28/05/25) and staff were helpful, it was the 'after' that was poor. We had to wait 5 weeks to get mum's ashes due to poor communication between Greenacres and the funeral company, Pymms of Maidenhead. I had to chase for her ashes; sloppy and poor show at a tough time.

When I saw Heatherley Park in Grayshott, Hampshire, I knew it was the perfect place for Mum. I don't think many people know or think about this place, but if you read this review, hopefully it provides some insight to my experience. My mum at 62 was given the short terminal diagnosis of cancer of unknown primary. We had to talk about dying and where she like to be, mum was a no fuss person but i wanted to honour her wishes in what she did say. Not an easy thing to do as a daughter who was facing a parent just being diagnosed and then watching that parent decline within a month. Ness and her team were super welcoming, when I was trying to find a place for Mum. Mum wanted to be in the woodlands, near meadows, and not somewhere gloomy. Ness stayed behined after my call to enquire to show me around. She took me around the whole park, so many places to choose from, light places(no trees), darker places (trees), rose garden, meadows, the pond, fruit tree plots. I was able to share videos and pictures with my mum, allowing her to guide the process and have some say in this. It seems that everyone who was involved within my mums funeral spoke very highly of Heathley Park. I was not hurried to make a decision, Ness knew it had to be right for me and the family. I was able to take walks with my entire family and select the appropriate resting place for my mother following her passing. We choose a spot just before the trees with beautiful sunshine, the sound of birds and smell of the meadow upon walking away. My children love the memorial tree where they can write letters to their grandma which is a few hundred metre from mums spot. There is an abundance of wildlife to observe, and it is also somewhere you can walk with your dogs. There are many benches thoughtfully placed around the area, offering opportunities for moments of quiet reflection, i would urge you to sit and take a moment if you are considering here. All plots can have natural wood vases and posts, there is beehives, bird houses, bug houses, very biodiverse and environmentally friendly. As a life long sufferer of thanatophobia this location has provided me with a great deal of peace and serenity, it does not panic me and does not feel scary. My children are also at peace when walking around visiting. P.s . They also have a FREE grief session once a month.

Greenacres in Grayshott is such a beautiful resting place for my sister who was laid to rest with her husband, my brave sister had spoken during her short illness with aggressive cancer that she would like to be in a Woodland area that was open. Thank you to everyone at the park and particularly my niece for making the service so perfect .

What a beautiful and tranquil setting. My late Fathers Service was wonderful and very personal. (No, one in, one out crematorium). All guests arrived and mingled in a lovely room half an hour beforehand. Coffee was provided as a self service. Was lovely to meet with people and chat beforehand and relax a bit. We had nearly an hour for the Service in a beautiful Wood built venue, surrounded by Trees and glass windows, with views in front of us to look out upon. we left through lovely glass double doors, into the woods and then a wooded walk back to the car parks. Personally, we had a Piper playing Dad out - it was very emotional. But was everything he would have wanted. Would definitely hold future Funerals there and nowhere else could ever be the same as our beautiful experience.

What a wonderful tour with Jackie at Chiltern Park this morning. What a lovely final resting place and Jackie showed it off with empathy, great knowledge and pride. Thank you to all the team at the park.

Green Acres Chiltern is set in lovely woodland. The meeting room is beautiful with lots of glass and wood so you feel you are still outside. There is tea and coffee and a view of the dormouse if you are lucky. But, above all, the staff go out of their way to help, coping with the very late arrival of one of the chief mourners and the surprise arrival of some doves. It was the perfect setting for a very sad yet life affirming ceremony.

Following the loss of my husband early April, we opted for his funeral service to be held at Greenacres.
My husband not only loved nature, he was a talented craftsman with all things wood and had admired the beautiful surroundings of greenacres at a funeral a few years ago.
It was 100% the right choice. My husband was a hugely popular man and well known in his field of music, and literally hundreds turned out to pay their respects. They gave me an option to purchase an extra hour which was absolutely the right thing to do, given the number of people attending and meant we weren’t rushed and were able to step away from the crowds at the end and spend some quiet time with my husband before departing.
The staff handled the day superbly, calmly directing the vast number of cars and welcoming our guests.
The service itself was serene and classy, with a beautiful backdrop of the forest and an audience of squirrels and deer visible outside the open doors. Our guests really appreciated being able to join us for my husband’s final journey in the beautiful, peaceful forest. It was a far cry from the conveyor belt approach of many crematoriums.
The overall feel of Greenacres is one of calm, serenity and beauty, not sadness and mourning, and it really helped lift our spirits.
The add on services, such as live streaming, were invaluable as it meant our friends across the world could log on and be with us in spirit.
The after care was also superb, from the discreet, welcoming and professional Greenacres staff. Nothing was too much trouble…from viewing potential internment plots, to holding the ashes until we were ready to collect, to transferring them into our mini urns.
Overall, the beauty of the park and the care and attention from the staff made a horrible and stressful time so much easier.
Thank you Leigh, Lisa, Amanda and everyone at Greenacres. Your kindness will be remembered always x

What a perfect peaceful setting for a memorial. My family found Heatherley Park, by accident when looking for an alternative to the usual grim impersonal crematorium that is suggested by most local funeral directors.
Heatherley Park was exactly what my late husband would have chosen, he was all in favour of rewilding so the ethos matched his. We do not need to place his ashes there as we have our own spot in mind, but if your loved one lived in a flat in a town then I would choose to leave them here most definitely.
As to the light and airy service hall looking out over the meadows and woodland it was very beautiful. The ladies were so very kind and thoughtful, the recording and photo montage arrangements were lovely. Finally holding the wake in situ made it easy for elderly folk to stay longer instead of having to follow maps to another location. You were unhurried in having the whole afternoon to hold the service followed by the wake. The car parking was plentiful with overflow available, all on the flat, another important factor for some. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending any family, whether religious or not to use Heatherley Park when their need arises.

Fantastic service for my father’s funeral service. Lovely peaceful setting. It all went very smoothly and they coped well with the heat and the unexpected arrival of 16 bowlers!
Everyone thought we gave a fitting farewell to my father.
We also appreciated their link up with Karen our celebrant and Sauntons, the funeral directors - this made the whole thing much easier to organise.

Greenacres Rainford is a lovely place to say goodbye to your loved one/s. The surroundings are beautiful and you have up to an hour to celebrate a life with dignity. They only have 4 funerals a day so you are not waiting for the previous funeral to leave or rushing off yourself to get out of the way of the next. There is the option of a music/visual tribute and you can stream it for people who are unable to attend. The team at Greenacres really care. Even the groundsman bowed as we drove up and they sent a beautiful card afterwards. At a difficult time, they worked with our funeral director to create a fitting service for our family member.

Greenacres in Rainford is an exceptional place that has helped in such a difficult time when my dad passed. The service wasn't rushed and the setting is so much better than churches or crematoriums. The grounds are beautiful, peaceful and serene offering a much more relaxed approach and way to celebrate a person's life.
I would like to that Julie who has gone above and beyond to help tailor dad's wishes and taking the time to go through things with my brother and I so it was right for us. There really is something for everyone here and the ever growing site will continue to flourish in nature in years to come and it will be a place that will make you visit your loved ones.

I came for a walk around to view the site and was greeted by a man called Brad who was already helping a lady he then called someone out called Jackie and she showed me around the Beaconsfield site.
She was very friendly and professional whilst being very warming at the same time.
I’m really happy with the service I received

As a celebrant I would like to say that Greenacres is a beautiful venue set in 73 acres of Woodland to conduct a funeral/memorial service. It is a tranquil place with an amazing service hall where you look out onto the amazing woodland.
It is also a place where you have time to celebrate your loved ones life, with an hours service time.
So whether you are just wanting to hold a service or to have a loved one intered, burial or ashes, or scattering in a natural setting then this is the place to consider.
Your ceremony can also reflect your beliefs, church led, celebrant led or humanist.
If nothing else have a wander around these natural surroundings, see the wildlife, muntjac dear, foxes, red kites, butterflies and all the trees and fauna.
Simply beautiful.

Living overseas means I cannot personally buy and place flowers at my parents resting place. My contact at Green Acres, Emma Jacobs, is fantastic. She takes great care, overseeing appropriate floral tributes and their placement, sending me photographs to share with my family. I cannot thank her enough!

I liked the Green Acres Burial Ground very much. I found it peaceful, but accessible, well maintained but still wild, with secluded areas for reflection. It was interesting to be able to compare this site and its services with Henley natural burial ground. It's natural chalk habitat with native trees. The foxgloves were splendid. There is a wide choice of options, including simple scattering of ashes. I liked the tree circles, and the Orchard space.
The Gathering Hall is delightful and would appeal to many people for a funeral or memorial service. I liked how the family and friends entered through the front door and exited through the wide glass door at the back. It symbolises a transition.

I lost my brother a year ago and he and my sister in law are buried together at Greenacres Chilterns. I am elderly and disabled without transport. I was helped and advised by the excellent staff to make the journey from North London to the Greenacres site. I was driven to the grave in a mobility buggy and was helped to place the flowers in the special vase provided. I was then taken back to Reception where I was given a cup of tea while the staff called a taxi for me to Beaconsfield station. The whole experience helped me in many ways, as well as having the comfort of being able to mark the one year anniversary of losing a great brother.

We held my husbands memorial service here and it was really special. The whole setting, from the natural wooden interior, the huge bifold glass doors that you used to exit and the tranquil green fields and trees that surround you. It was such a peaceful, calming place to hold your loved ones service. The staff were extremely helpful and kind, we were allowed time after the service to thank family and friends. We were never rushed and there wasn’t another funeral waiting to come in after us, we couldn’t have asked for more.
