The service and support from all the staff at Greenacres Rainford was fantastic. Everything from planning the service through to internment of ashes with a living memorial was excellent. The surrounding are wonderful, so peaceful and beautifully maintained. We were able through the wonderful staff to include my grandchildren in the tree planting. Especial thanks to Angela who was very patient with us throughout.

We came to the Colney park to see the bluebells in full bloom, and it was wonderful. Beautiful land, lots of wildlife and we enjoyed the bluebells tremendously.
Extra special shout out to Marsha, who helped us take an elderly lady to her first time seeing a bluebell wood in one of the buggies to make it accessible. Such a wonderful idea to ensure everyone can enjoy this experience. Marsha spoke about the park and her job with such joy and passion, it really made our experience to hear more about the park.

I lost my husband a year ago and I could not have picked a better place to have him laid to rest. From the very start of the process the staff were kindness personified. Nothing was too much trouble and they have made a horrible time a little easier. The place itself is ideal. Whenever I come to visit my husband I just feel lifted by the setting. My grandchildren come and it's not the scary place with lots of white headstones that some cemeteries are. The monthly bereavement group is a godsend for me. Tracey and her team are just so lovely, sympathetic and kind. I cannot recommend GreenAcres highly enough.

We have always attended the monthly coffee mornings since losing our daughter in 2022 and enjoy the atmosphere and chatting with other bereaved families. The number of people who attend these occasions has grown greatly over the past couple of years and is so popular sometimes it’s hard to find somewhere to sit. I do wonder if it may be better to make it a twice monthly coffee morning so rather than everyone attending at once it may spread over both get togethers?

Sadly the second time in a year we have used Greenacres. They did a wonderful service for each of my parents, very good staff and smooth service.

Greenacres Rainford not only has a beautiful setting but also very capable and compassionate staff. As much as nobody ever wants to say goodbye to a loved one, this place is probably as good as it gets in terms of location, tranquility and overall peacefulness.

Beautiful site, but the opening hours mean we can't visit our grave very often, only at weekends. Purchase of the plot was not a good experience. They were very disorganised, we had to chase for information on options and price and the information was unclear and limited. We were pushed and rushed, we had to work to their timetable, they gave us a dealine for interment so we only had a few weeks to arrange it after purchasing the plot, with family needing to arrange to travel to Liverpool, take time off work, it was stressful. They didn't tell us about this dealine until after they had our money and they would not be flexible about it.

We held mum's service at Greenacres on 6th March 2024 at her choice. It is the most peaceful tranquil place ever. What a perfect setting. We just know that mum would have loved everything. Everyone was so very respectful. We know mum was in good hands. Thank you from us all for everything x

The team at Heatherley Wood were so helpful and kind during a very difficult time. I have since attended the monthly coffee mornings which I have found very helpful. Having somewhere to go where people understand exactly what your going through and knowing they have come out the other end has been a great comfort to me. Knowing that I am not going to be rushed whilst I decide to do with with my husbands ashes is also a big relief

A professional celebrant for more than twelve years I have visited many different venues during the course of my work. The setting at Greenacres is quite beautiful and the staff professional and experienced. The possible combinations of service make this the perfect choice for families who seek a ceremony that does not feel rushed. Nothing was too much trouble, and the layout of the chapel means that everyone was comfortably seated in the light and airy hall. Good technical support was in place and the music and visual tribute was seamless. Greenacres, set just off the A3 is also very easy to access and there is plenty of available parking. I would struggle to find a better location, and will certainly speak to funeral directors and families I meet about using Greenacres for their ceremony.

I lost my phone in the car park of Greenacres which I didn’t realise until I got home to Chelmsford. The staff at Greenacres put themselves out so much for me to not only look for it but to actually find my phone and then cleaned it for me to collect.

Having been to Greenacres on a few occasions for funerals before I already knew that it was a lovely and helpful place but this topped it for me so I’m writing a glowing report which for me is well deserved.

We would highly recommend Green Acres, Heatherley wood, Grayshott who were fantastic in every way in helping to organise my mother’s funeral. The service was such a special one which we are sure she would have loved and it was the perfect way for us to be able to say goodbye to her. The staff were friendly, kind and professional. They were also unobtrusive but there when we needed them most. The setting is a beautiful place and many of our guests commented on the fact that it was a very special place to have a service.

The location is beautiful, and the inside space is simple and calm. The facilities for the music and the photo slideshow were perfect. Unlike other crematoriums, we had plenty of time and were not rushed at all. I would highly recommend GreenAcres.

I have read a lot about greenacres since a friend buried his wife and then himself there!
I would dearly like to finish my days there but i have heard it would, sadly be out of price range which is most upsetting. i should really go to the Bucks site and see for myself maybe.

Greenacres is a truly special place, at North Weald the staff are so kind and go above and beyond to cater for everything you need.
The whole park is kept so nice and welcoming and there is so much attention to detail.
It is just amazing and I am so pleased that my mum chose this amazing place to want her ashes scattered in.

I lost my dad last year and was unsure what to do with both his and my mums ashes. I saw an advert for Greenacres pop up on Facebook and thought that could be an option, so booked an appointment.
I arrived on the Saturday and was looked after by a lovely lady called Christine. She took me around the grounds in a golf buggy and the feeling of peace I got from the place was amazing. I bought a slot for mum and dad and they were interred last weekend,
The word i kept using about the place was tranquil and after the initial visit I felt at peace knowing they would be somewhere beautiful and peaceful.
I would highly recommend Greenacres Rainford. It is a truly beautiful place for your relatives to be laid to rest, and am contemplating it for my own. Thanks to Christine for her kindness during my visit. A truly lovely lady.

I Came to Greenacres St Helen's for my brothers cremation service in June 2023. The service was lovely and all the staff are so respectful and caring, what a beautiful place for your loved ones. Nothing like your average crematorium this is so tranquil and peaceful, We retuned this February as we sadly lost our Mum just 8 months apart, This was her wish to have her service here, We are looking at our options for the cremation gardens and I have spoken with a lovely lady today called Diane who was so helpful in giving me advice about the park. She listened to me and was so understanding. Thank you so much to all at Greenacres for everything, and for the beautiful service's you put on for our loved ones.

I have recently been attending GreenAcres, Headley Down as an officiant for ceremonies. It makes the most delightful change from the crematorium and is such a beautiful place to say goodbye to your loved one, even if a burial is not for you. The staff are warm, supportive and professional and the surroundings are stunning, not to mention the lovely chapel and area to congregate after the ceremony for a wake/reception. I wholeheartedly recommend their services and look forward to visiting again soon.
