Excellent quality could do with more branded items

Went to go outdoors for some comfortable hiking shoes/trainers to take to Glastonbury. I was served by Stuart who was incredibly helpful and patient. I am really particular and wanted to try lots of different shoes and sizes as none of them were quite right. I am genuinely really grateful for how kind, patient and tolerant Stuart was with me as I appreciate it could be annoying. He was also really knowledgable and a generally lovely guy.

Customer service is also great at go outdoors. It’s my favourite outdoors shop.

Dropped my bike wheel in for a repair job. Great price and speedy service. Special mention to Harriet and Andy (The bike mechanic) who both provided a great customer care. In the future I will use Go Outdoors rather than the local bike repair shop and will definitely recommend

Very good spent a lot of money but got such good deaks

I returned to the Pudsey store today due to a very unfortunate manufacturing defect with my new OEX Heiro camping stove and was helped massively by Jason who actually helped me to buy this stove a couple of weeks ago. Accompanied by his colleague Oliver on the till they battled through the process of giving me an exchange for a new product. (Very gratefull)

Following on from that I proceeded to have a look at lightweight tents for a wild camping trip I have planned up Ben Nevis in 3 weeks, after a thorough look through all of the products available but unsure of the best option for me, Jason appeared to give me some help and advice which he did tremendously! All of his knowledge about waterproof ratings and wind restrictions made this decision one I was now more confidant in making. He was so friendly and helpful even to the point of pitching the one tent (in what space he could find) that I had my eye on which unfortunately was not out on display, I was so impressed with his continued effort and also extremely happy with the tent that I bought it! Can’t thank him enough, a real credit to the team!

I arranged to click and collect my item:- when I went into store to collect the item had still to be picked. However the staff member paged a colleague to request the item be picked from the shop-floor and take it to the checkouts.
Just the job, as I had a hospital appointment later that day and wouldn't have been able to return to store.

Called in today to buy some bits and bobs, then decided to upgrade our tent. There was an issue with stock on an extra I wanted to go with it. Holly was very helpful and went out of her way to find another store with stock. Very pleasant and respectful, couldn't ask for better service.

Found what we required from a great selection available. Staff were very friendly and met our needs.

Well done.

I went for a specific product - I did not know precisely where the item was but I asked the cashier where I would find the item , of which there were several options. I asked a staff member for information about the options which he willingly provided.Inmade my choice , paid for the-item and left the store. No hassles and excellent service

Paul W the fishing advisor was very helpful and knowledgeable, and advised me on which rods and bag to buy. the whole experience was very easy, except on my wallet. strongly reccomend.

Really helpful in deciding the right walking footwear for me.
Also advised on the correct socks too!

John from the tents department has just done a great job repairing my tent pole despite the non-standard pole length. He kept me informed of progress by phone and offered a friendly professional service. Thank you John!

We were served today by Pedro at the store in Pudsey…and now I know how it feels to have a personal shopper! He was calm, warm and patient - despite us being those annoying customers asking for multiple pairs of shoes to try on right before closing time! He was happy to help and provided us with multiple pairs of shoes and offered gentle pointers and suggestions throughout. Thank you Pedro!

Good selection

We went to buy a new fishing set up for a 16 year old that had never fished, we had no idea what we needed. We were served by Paul W he spent about 40 minutes with us in total, leaving us when we were looking but always coming back and helping us with the next part. We both felt Paul was so knowledgable but questioned us as to where he would fish and to ensure he sold us the right stuff that wasn’t too expensive for a 16 year old starter!

I bought some new Merrell woman's walking shoes today. The staff were very knowledgeable and super helpful! Thank you!

Stuart and Pedro on the boots section are the most knowledgeable and helpful ppl you could buy shoes off. They were able to get me a great deal on some excellent Merrill boots! I feel bad ...they ended up being so cheap!!
