Great price, good product does exactly as it should

My experience was very good because I was new to fishing and one of the workers Steve helped me out a lot. By showing me what each part of the tackle does. He also showed me the best way to set it all up.

I came in today needing advice on climbing shoes. I was served by Danny who was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He gave me exactly the help I needed and am very happy to say I purchased the shoes he recommended. I couldn’t fault the service, he’s a credit to the team. 5 stars !!

Had an issue with Membership card that customer services fixed promptly and then ordered what I needed for store pick up with the discount and in the size I wanted. Was able to pick up order easily.

Ordered an e-bike on line. Got an email the next day to say it was ready to collect. Before making the 2 hour round trip I range the store to confirm (I recommend you do this). The bike was at the store but NOT assembled & ready for collection. The very helpful staff explained and gave me a call the following day to say it was completed. Very happy with the product, but the automatic communication leaves a lot to be desired.

Go Outdoors Norwich have a great selection of just about everything you could need for any outdoor activity. We are going on a walking holiday and we have kitted out the whole family in just a couple of visits.
It wasn't until the second visit that I realised I could use Blue Light discount as well as my Go Outdoors membership. I had spent a lot of money on my first visit so I was over the moon when Samuel very kindly offered to apply the further discounts retrospectively as I had the receipt. He didn't have to say anything because it was a lot of work for him but I'm so grateful he took the time to do this. It made such a difference in these difficult times.

staff were warm and welcoming, one star less than 5 as id been trying for any hours to order fishing rod online only to find out when i spoke to someone that no longer sending them out as fragile

The man who told about fishing for the first time was very helpful, told us and picked out all the stuff we needed for the first time fishing,very knowledgeable about fishing had been fishing for 40 years, Evan told us where to go in the area for the first time. Was very helpful telling us about everything we needed to know for first time fishing.

Very prompt delivery to store who then made up and checked the bike for no additional cost. Very happy with both the service and product, especially the price. The bike staff in store at Norwich were particularly helpful and were overall excellent.

Staff in the cycle department did an excellent job of keeping me informed on the progress of my bike as there was a small part missing in the box when it was delivered to them. The bike was set up to a high standard so it rides lovely. A member of staff also helped me to load my E bike into the back of my estate car

I visited the Norwich store to enquire about a waterproof jacket
Laura who was doing a move at the time acknowledged me when I was looking and then stopped what she was doing and went out of her way to help me decide on a jacket .
Laura gave me several ideas and suggestions . She was really cheerful and knowledgable . Made me feel very welcome .
Thankyou Laura I felt very valued . Another lady at the till was fabulous to I’m sorry I’ve forgotten her name . Think she had a ponytail brown hair .. she was great to.

We purchased a garment that was in the sale and it was the perfect size for my wife.The cashier was then extremely helpful with regards to my recent rejoining for a members card.

I went to biy some campimg chairs. Asked at the till if I could use my blue light discount card. Was told I had to be a member. However, their website states I do NOT have to sign up to use it. They need to train their staff! I ended up paying more than I needed to

Easy trial and returns policy and helpful staff in Norwich store both when looking for purchase items and when collecting items ordered on line.
Disappointed to be flatly refused use of staff toilet immediate adjacent to public toilet which was out of order; a little compassion would have gone a long way.
Trying to speak to a human being on the phone about an order query is a nightmare and nigh impossible and in my view and experience is the company's Achilles heel.

I bought a leatherman in June but when I used the small screwdriver the end broke off. I phoned the Norwich store and explained. I was told to ask for Shaun. When I arrived he was very welcoming and said it was very unusual to happen to these quality tools. He spoke to his manager and my leatherman was exchanged for a new one. I left the store VERY happy with the experience i received fromA1 top class staff.
I can highly recommend Go-outdoors.

Samuel was a great cashier helpful , patient and smily..... the products were good quality and all staff were helpful , great store layout inviting and easy to navigate.
