I have used Go Outdoors many times. This time I wanted some walking shoes. Whilst looking Alfred came over and asked if I needed any assistance. Normally I would say no thanks but Alfred seemed enthusiastic and eager to help. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. For someone so young he came across as a person with much more experience.

Josh was very helpful and knowledgeable about walking boots and sleeping bags. He went to a lot of trouble making sure we found the right pair of boots.

Went in to buy some fishing bits to take my son on his first trip fishing.

Robbie went above and beyond explaining what I needed and how to set things up. Really helpful and polite. I'd definitely return. Thanks to his tips we caught 2 Silver fish in a great spot. Did lose a bit of tackle so we'll be back again soon! Cheers Robbie.

Went into the Exeter store today with a return. Bit of a complex history but Cody was exceptionally helpful. So refreshing to experience great customer service. 10/10

We visited the Exeter branch today to look at their tent selection. We had a few technical questions about the tents and Lewis was more than happy to help. He answered the questions and double check the information he gave us was correct too. Lewis was great, so helpful and nothing was too much trouble for him. We need more people like Lewis in retail. We will for sure be returning to the Exeter branch in future and will look out for Lewis especially if we have any slightly technical questions. He knows his stuff!

Harry, the member of staff who helped us, was brilliant very knowledgeable and keen to help us.

Alfred at the Exeter go outdoors was absolutely a 1st class example of customer service . I tried on literally every walking boot in the store as I have a charity walk yet his enthusiasm never wained. I employ 30 staff myself and wouldn employ him in a heartbeat !!! Thank you Alfred.

Staff member on till was rude and not helpful at all could do with some customer service training as no manners

The young man called Larry who served me was excellent... I needed help and advice and he was bang on.
A good representative for your company

Picked up an online order on Monday, the tent is great, very happy with it. Went back on Wednesday to buy some more stuff but the guy at the till was an unpleasant person. He couldn't find my membership straightaway and got very dismissive and sarcastic.

All a fantastic service. But would say getting things online is harder if you need to change any details on your delivery... but still very good if you like online next day delivery. But I found going in store a very pleasant experience with all staff very lovely and friendly and able to help. I like seeing all the tents up as that's what I brought.

Lewis was extremely patient and helpful. He shared his own DofE experience, which my children found interesting!

We had a great visit to the Exeter branch of Go Outdoors. Harry could not have been more helpful in helping us select our trekking boots for the Atlas mountains. He was knowledgeable, able to provide some top tips from personal experience, and gave us plenty of time to make a decision. At no point did we feel pressured to make a decision, and I believe we would have received the same service had we been 'just looking'.
Great experience and will definitely return again - well worth the 2+hour drive!

Lewis was exceptionally helpful as we looked at what was the best type of shoe to wear for our big trek he was patient really informative and went over above. Very very grateful and we bought a pair of shoes thank you.

Popped into the Exeter store to look at an e-bike. Josh was amazing, so knowledgeable, helpful & friendly. He is great credit to the store.

Alex was also very really helpful.

Briefly met the manager to give positive feedback & he clearly values his staff which also left a great impression.

A great experience, can really recommend.
