Just wanted to say that I had a great experience shopping at Go Outdoors Chesterfield. Sometimes when you go into a shop you’re hard pressed to find someone to help. Richard at Go Outdoors acknowledged himself to us in case we needed help, but wasn’t pushy at all, when I’d had a good look round he helped me find some walking shoes and cleared up a query on the price, and was so friendly and helpful, I’d definitely shop there again! Thankyou!

I went into store looking for hiking boots and quickly became very overwhelmed by the large variety. Dan gave me honest advice based on personal experience that helped narrow down my options. He went back to the stock room numerous times to get boots for me to try on, and he couldn’t have been more helpful, he even gave me a campsite recommendation for my next trip. I settled on a nice pair of Merrell Accentor 3s, that will hopefully serve me well! Thanks again Dan!

We originally went to our local Lincoln branch, where Grant was extremely helpful, answering all our questions. He did not have the bike we required in stock, but went over and above to locate and secure one from the Chesterfield store. We drove to there, where Evan was expertly helpful, and honest, identifying to us that there was minor damage, to the bike we were buying, immediately offering another 10% off the purchase price. Overall, a wonderful experience.

Michael was absolutely brilliant. I came into the store with little to no knowledge regarding boots, however left understanding how to treat leather, what to look for, as well as look out for in a boot, and how to find and achieve the perfect fit for maximum comfort and satisfaction. I wouldn’t have found the perfect boot had it not been for his knowledge and willingness to stay and help, and I have no doubt that he would have been just as helpful with any other enquiries around the store had we had any. So thanks Michael, we’ll be back again!
