I was a VIP member for 10+ years/ NO MORE
I was a VIP member for 10+ years. I did not renew this April. Their new point system is garbage. I had 53000 points showing .Two weeks later I was going to rejoin with my points. My points then showed 18000. I called Golf Now and was told 36000 points had expired. I asked how that many points could expire in 2 weeks. They are supposed to last for one year. I didn't earn 36000 points in a two week span in 2024.I have looked at all my reservations for the past year. I totaled up all my points earned and any cancellations and got 55,000 points. My account shows only 18,000. I mentioned this to Golf Now and the person totaled them with me, He got the same result. He said someone would contact me in the next five days, It's been two weeks. So much for customer support. I did enjoy Golf Now for many years, even though they made it worse each year. I tell everyone to not join. With the booking fee you can book for maybe a couple dollars more by calling the clubhouse direct and have a choice of tee times. Do not use Golf Now / Golf Pass. I am now a member of my local club.

Rewards and Customer Service are terrible
It is a total waste of time trying to get any answers from "Customer Service". Their rewards and membership benefits are difficult enough to navigate, through all the hoops and conditions you need to do to use their coupons and rewards. But even when following their conditions for a promotion, you don't receive the promised reward. I have called CS 4 times now over the past week for the missing reward, and I have been told 4 different stories/promises. The non-US agents will not transfer you to a manager. There is no way I have found to email them about the issue, to get a documentation trail. There is no option to leave a survey for them about your experience. They know their customer service is terrible, and they just don't care.

I made the mistake of buying a GolfPass…
I made the mistake of buying a GolfPass for the second time. However, soon afterwards I found myself battling the GolfNow call center for a refund because none of the benefits they promise are usable. I get an error any time I try and book a discounted tee time or try to use a tee time credit. Even when trying to book a regular tee time, I’ll get an error message saying that the tee time is no longer available. Meanwhile, someone else in the room who has golf now and does not have golf pass is able to make a reservation for the same time without any trouble. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app, I’ve tried using the desktop, I’ve called - It just doesn’t work and they’re a pain to get a refund from. They initially refused to refund my golf pass membership but I asked for a supervisor and they were able to finally give me a refund after 2 calls and 30 minutes of trying to rationally explain why they are obligated to provide a refund since their “service” does not work!

Refund policy is a scam
Will never use GolfNow to book a tee time ever again. Their refund policy is a complete scam, you can only use your GolfNow credits on 'Hot Deals' or it can also apply to 'Convenience Fees' which are a few bucks when booking. So my $200 in GolfNow credits either have to be used over 20 bookings, or I have to find some random 'Hot Deal' time to apply them to, and those times are always way later in the day at less than ideal times. And if you needed the $200, you are S.O.L. This last transaction left the worst taste in my mouth after refunding a time when a course closed due to rain. Use extreme caution when booking through GolfNow especially when weather looks iffy.

Dont use Golf Now
Dont use Golf Now. Tried to cancel reservation 6 days in advance and they would only credit account. I cancelled membership. I can get a better deal with directly going to golf courses buying packages of 10 rounds with no problem changing or canceling reservations. Very hard to deal with.

Until recently I’d have given 5 stars
Until recently I’d have given 5 stars, member 8 years. Can not make a tee time for 2 months app or website. Tee time no longer available however in an hour the time is back available rinse and repeat. 5 calls all gave different reasons no solution. Talked me into renewing 3 days ago today that renewal no longer showing but all my points to offset renew gone. Just let me make a tee time that’s available I’ll stay forever

What a scam- GIFT CARD SCAM
What a scam- My kids purchased a $100 gift card as a gift, and GolfNow makes it very difficult (almost impossible) to use.
GolfNow business model? - advertise “we sell gift cards for hot deals” but unsuspecting buyers don’t realize these cards can ONLY be used for hot deals and most courses only offer 1 or 2 tee times a day with these “Hot Deals.”
It’s like getting a gift card to Walmart and the fine print says “only valid on Tuesday from 9-10pm.” Yea- the card is good but how often can you make
DON"T BUY THE GIFT CARDS from this company.

What a joke. Pathetic excuse for customer service.
What a joke! Pay for "privilege" of booking tee times through them but with over 4900 points can't cancel tee times next Tuesday without refund. Has happened before and why I cancelled membership. Can't get human being to talk to. Absolutely a fraud! Never ever ever subscribe to their "service"! No wonder they have a 2.9 rating.

ZERO STARS - HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE
If I could leave 0-stars I would. Worst experience I've ever had booking a tee time.
Soon after booking the weather report called for rain that day, so the players begin to back out. I had to cancel. I cancelled within a day of making the reservation, well before 24hrs deadline. However, Golf Now refused to issue a refund. It's now credited to my account, but there's only certain days/times/courses I can book - I get to take my pick of about 3-5% of the available tee times at any given time. Geez, thanks, what great customer service Golf Now. I hope you can sense my sarcasm.
I will NEVER use this app again. Will never recommend it, and in fact I will tell all golers I know about my horrible experience and advise them to never use the app or you risk receiving the same treatment.
ATTENTION EVERYONE - just call the golf course, DO NOT use this app. They Gouge you on fees, you cannot cancel w/refund, and it's cheaper to just call the course yourself. This company should not even be in business. Good luck, the app has now been deleted never to return. Ahhh, already feel better.

First of all your company changed a lot. By creating anti-customer service policies to benefit from any mistakes consumers makes or unequaled system over charge or double book. All your hidden fees and unauthorized charges are not welcome. You makes pay to charity without our consent.
Now I always enjoyed GN app recently I have encountered many non English speaking persons and don’t care about consumer customer services all they are doing is repeating what they were taught in your stupid training. “ THIS IS OUR POLICIES “ take it or leave it. Absurd.
Asked for supervisors to help they don’t exist. Once I used all the GN credit you inflicted on me due to your unfair policies to just make money I am closing account.
Deleting my app. I will definitely share my bad experiences with all my golfer buddies

Misleading Benefits. Poor Relations with Courses.
GolfNow no longer has the same deals with many of the golf courses around Houston. They failed to disclose this when my annual subscription was renewed. We are 6 months into the year and I haven't been able to use any of their rewards. I asked for a refund but they refused. Also, last year my tee time rained out because of Hurricane Beryl. Golf now refused to give me credit for that booking, saying that it did not rain. I showed them the forecast, and the fact we had a hurricane along the coast. I will NEVER recommend GolfNow to anyone after these incidents. Lesson Learned!

Poor Service
I booked Regal Ridge for myself and my grandson, this is advertised as a 4star course, it’s not, this course should be classed as 1 star and that’s being generous, tee very poor,just dirt boxes, fairways poor bald patches everywhere and greens totally unplayable, informed GolfNow customer services but they are not interested. I will never use GolfNow again . Be aware they are not helpful when things go wrong, they have already got your money and they are not parting with it.

Frustrating experience, no solutions...
I booked a Hot Deal tee time for a foursome through GolfNow. Thinking everything was set, only to have the reservation automatically cancelled hours later with no explanation. When I called customer support, they initially tried to tell me I was the one who cancelled it, which was not true. It wasn’t until they contacted the course directly that I found out the golf course canceled it on their end, for reasons still unclear.
GolfNow’s solution? They told me if I wanted the deal I booked, I’d need to call the course the following day and speak to the owner, who MIGHT honor the rate. I'm sorry, but I shouldn't have to chase down a golf course owner to correct a problem that started with GolfNow's system.
Between the lack of accountability, the poor communication, and the gaslighting from support, this experience has completely turned me off from using GolfNow in the future. Unbelievable and unacceptable.

I have several rewards for the…
I have several rewards for the convenience fees (typically around $7.47). However, when booking online, I never know how to get credit for these rewards, and I never use them. How do you use this specific reward? In addition, how can you figure out your balance on gift cards you might have?
6/17/25: I am editing my review now, as I did receive a reply from Golf Now. The reply provided me with a link to check my gift card balance. But when I clicked on the link, and after I entered my card # and PIN #, I still got an error message, just like before. This is very frustrating, and it is always frustrating trying to navigate your website and get simple, basic information.

Bad Experience - Will not use again!
I would advise not using this service for booking tee times. I booked a foursome - each player was $178 per round in Cave Creek, AZ. Our 4th got sick with Covid and couldnt plan. I attempted to call and go online to remove the 4th player 48 hours in advance and wouldn't allow me to do it. I attempted to call the golf course. Couldnt help me. I attempted to call and rectify after the fact. No refund or credit towards another Golfnow booking. I will no longer use this service for booking any future tee times. Beware. Do not book any tee times or prepay for any round of golf because if ANYTHING goes wrong, you are out the money. It pays to book directly with the golf course. Learned my lesson.

The app works fine
The app works fine. It’s easy to book a teatime. It’s easy to navigate, but there are two main problems with this site. One is the amount of pop-ups, anything you do you have to deal with a pop-up. And you have to wait till they load then “hit no thanks” and I mean anything you do there’s a pop-up ad. Hi this is 2025. Can we stop with the damn pop-up ads? Number two you can’t cancel a tee time. l was sick and I had to cancel my round and they said I couldn’t cancel it so I actually had to call the clubhouse to inform them that I was canceling. I didn’t care if I was being charged. I just didn’t want my tee time to be held up. You know a common courtesy thin “ hey I can’t make it so you can maybe fill the spot” type of thing. But you can’t do it through the app. It’s a waste that you have to call the goddamn course to do it. Those are the two problems with this app other than that it’s fine, but I’m still only giving it two stars because these two things really suck.

Absolutely a scam
Absolutely a scam. They keep your card on file and automatically charge that card when you try to check out. I was trying to use a different credit card but there was never a prompt to add a different card. I called and asked to switch it to another card and she stated that it was non refundable. I didn't want a refund I just wanted it on a different card. So she said to dispute it with the credit card company. Really?? That's going to cost your business even more for charge backs. I'm done with golfnow. Very shady company with zero customer service.

Golf Now false advertising and lies
Signed up for Golf Pass 10 months ago and still waiting for Taylirmade credit. Phoned Golf Now Uk many times and been lied to. They say they’re waiting for codes from Taylirmade but I phoned Taylornsde snd their marketing team don’t know of any issues. Utter nonsense from Golf Now
