Golden Sands Holiday Park, Rhyl Bewertungen 

Compared to last year the caravan was quite basic. Although we had minor problems with the fridge and kettle, which was rectified quickly. We found all staff members very helpful and pleasant. We are hoping to come again next year. The WiFi was very disappointing, as did not work for some of our time there.

I have been coming here for over 30years and love it the park and the staff are brilliant the only thing I miss is the adult club the one now is to small and children running everywhere

excellent holiday from start to finish all staff very polite site clean and tidy entertainment team excellent as always, food in the sandpiper brilliant direct access to the beach what more could you ask for just brilliant

We had a lovely stay here caravan was absoutly lovely kids loved it we will return.

We had a family stay in March this year just for the weekend. The caravan we stayed in was an extra wide 3 bedroom it was sited by the new lodges( which look beautiful...with hot tubs!) and close to the beach. At the back of the caravan was a step bridge which took you to tir prince market and fair. The caravan was very clean and roomy yet cosy. It was just a short walk away from the club arcade chip shop and swimming pool and shop. The club was ok entertainment was great for the younger kids (mine are 10yr old girl 7yr old boy) but all mine wanted to do was watch you tube or visit the arcade! The later evening entertainment was fab loved the cash bingo and the singers were great sang songs from all eras! Myself and my husband loved the sitting back with a drink and relaxing part of an evening. The itinery for the daytime is great lots to do and lots going on if you wanted to stay on site they even have a pottery painting place!. Although North wales has lots to offer thats a bus ride away if u want to explore! The free internet in the club wasnt great i found it worked better on phones than ipads. We paid for wifi in our caravan which at times was on and off quite annoying something should be done to better the signal maybe. The chip shop was lovely serving everythin from chips to pizza to jacket potato helping me keep on my slimming world diet!! Swimming pool is quite basic could do with something a bit more excitting in there but my 2 still liked it and i found it was great for me to get my excersise for while i couldnt get to the gym! Staff in the club were all friendly and helpfull as were all staff throughout the whole park ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for customer service! Drinks wernt that badly priced..never ate in the pub restraunt so cant comment on that. The park on the camp was great my 2 loved it. The beach is lovely we watched the sunset on our first night All in all our stay was lovely, we are going back for a week in september my kids wernt fans of the club but we shall take a trip down a few nights as we love the bingo! (Sad i know!) The park is very well kept and is clean and tidy at all times. Asda is only a short drive away with aldi just a bit further up the road well worth a visit to stock up on goodies or barbecue food ... I recommend Golden sands to anyone from couples (lodges with hottub makes a great romantic getaway) to familys! Just one thing to consider if i remember rightly the chip shop was closed when we came out of the club on the sunday, luckily I wasnt drinking so took a short drive to Rhyl to Mcdonalds.. we never bought much food as we were only there for the weekend..at least we know to have something in handy for the next sunday night we are there! Towyn is great little nic nac shops are a winner with my kids the tir prince fun fair has a kiosk that sells lots of different flavour slush and ice cream...delish! Not forgetting the fast food kiosks burgers and donuts! Knightleys funfair is also within walking distance there are places to eat in towyn too if you dont want to go far from the site.We cannot wait to return in september! The only reason i gave 4 not 5 stars was due to the wifi and pool... wifi isnt directly the parks fault and unless people inform them nothing can be done hopefully it will be better in sept however we aim to be out and about for the week and hopefully getting away from internet needs 🤣 so it should be fine for the short time we will need it... secondly the pool but fear not you can visit SC2 (the new sun centre)if you want slides etc which is a short distance away by taxi bus car or even foot if its decent weather! I will review again in september but for an out of season visit it was a fantastic family break my kids loved it thank you goldensands...

Excellent caravan park couldn’t fault it in anyway, all the staff are great, stayed here 5 weeks ago and going again tomorrow, can’t wait

We were allocated a chalet on arrival and were told they had been newly refurbished. On entering the property I must admit it was very clean tidy and comfortable looking. Until we entered the bedroom. There was a double bed pushed into the corner if the room with one side pushed directly to the wall. There was no room to move down both sides of the bed. The mattress on the bed extremely old and springs could be felt. Very uncomfortable. In fact I spent the four days we were there sleeping on the sofa. Not ideal. Really let the place down.

Golden Sands is North Wales it’s a lovely camp The caravan we stayed in was it a platinum one and it was beautiful spotlessly clean and very peaceful to we come here every year and will do for many more years there is plenty to do around the area The camp also go straight on the beach with easy access and a lovely walk to Rhyl or Abergele It has a lovely bar and small swimming pool and play area for children couldn't ask for a better caravan park

We love it at golden sands the staff are so so helpful Carnt wait to go back as the holiday park brilliant

Staff so welcoming excellent site spotless caravan and great park would have no hesitation in recommending

This is a lovely place to go very good entertainment great staff lovely restaurant facilities are on site beach close buy bank Holidays are really good down here and have a pantomime on just had goldilocks and three bears and it was amazing kids enjoyed it

Lovely clean caravan park, extremely friendly staff. Food on site was good at both the chip shop and the on site restaurant. The lodge we stayed in was very clean and comfortable.

Stayed here with my mum, extra wide caravan central heating throughout, caravan was so clean as was the public toilets in arcade area. Park was neat tidy no litter anywhere, staff very friendly and helpful, excellent food on site definetley would reccomend will be returning

We always choose golden Sands for our family holiday you always get a warm friendly welcome from all the staff the park is always clean and tidy the cleaners do a fantastic job cleaning the caravans the entertainment is brilliant highly recommended

I stayed in Golden Sands for three nights over the Easter Break and it was fantastic. The caravan accommodation was top class and spotlessly clean. We were a two minute walk from the beach which is stunning. The weather wasn’t great but it didn’t affect our holiday as there is so much to do. My two young boys loved the pool and clubhouse entertainment. The park itself is small and so clean and friendly. We can’t wait to go back!

Well where do I start. we arrived Monday 8th and paid extra to have our caravan earlier but that wasnt the case. we checked in was given the wrong caravan and made to repack and move. Well the 2nd caravan was horrendous I wouldn't let a dog stay in never mind 3 children. I have never seen such a bog standard caravan in my life, there was nothing in it apart the essentials. It had no character at all. The worst part my kids where exploring the so called caravan to find human wastage on 2 of the single beds (I have photographic evidence of this) at this point my kids where hot, tired and so upset they wanted to travel back home.3 hours later and a 3rd trip back to the check in area to explain what was happening resulted us having a 3rd caravan luckily this one we was happy with and the kids decided they wanted to stay. I get you get what you paid for but I defo didn't pay for s*** on the beds. The park is quite small with not very much for the kids to do but we hadn't gone away for that we spent our days off the site exploring the surrounding areas. The night entertainment was quite good and the staff and entertainment staff where friendly and pleasant. I personally wont recommend this park and unfortunately will not return as the start of our holiday spoilt it for us...

Great holiday camp just staff need to updated on what caravan people book and not decide on the day what to give them it is important to people with disabilities

This is our third visit,we enjoyed very much.
It’s clean and tidy and staff are always pleasant.
