I forgot to mention that I am also lactose intolerant among my health issues, in my initial purchase of a policy and for that, the cost of my new policy increased by 50%.
I did not accept that quote and went elsewhere.

When a medical assessment is updated, we’re required to reassess the policy based on the traveller’s full medical profile. Customers aren’t able to choose which medical conditions are declared, as full disclosure is essential to ensure cover is valid.
In your case, the original policy was cancelled within the cooling-off period after the updated assessment, and no revised premium was applied. We understand that revised terms don’t suit everyone, and cancelling within cooling-off is always an option.

Thankfully we didn’t need to contact the Go Insurance team during our recent NZ trip but having peace of mind while travelling was comforting during the time when landslides and heavy rain was happening around us.
