I write this review at most times when reporting crime to the metropolitan it proves a waste of time, and on other occasions it has been met with defaming, trauma and negative especially if a person character is of race, gender, orientation, impairment/disability. Until recently I had to report sensitive issues that have been ongoing for seven years and guess what!! because tensions got that high, its trigger (meaning the person committing the offence fonds validation in the justice system to inflict their hatred and prejudice), this is using the police to basically for harasment. It took them less time to come out in their numbers to bring a certain person in for questioning for an allegations this person had already been questioned for previously. The rest of this was 'flying monkeys ' but this person had impairment due to education issues. There is no hope for improvement, and I say with integrity because they have criminalised certain groups and how it has become deep embedded the only hope for improvement is to rip it out and replace it with something better.

I had the privilege of dealing with SGT Paul Ellis who claimed that being called a p*ki does not constitute to racism. I think this just about sums up my experience with GMP. In simpler terms, the GMP cannot be relied upon.

Hey these guys are ace, from the call center to the "rozzers" I've had nothing but excellent response and care.

I have asked the officer to now drop the case, as it has now almost been 11 weeks since I reported the assault and threats to kill, and provided evidence. I have now lost all faith in GMP after making over 4 complaints via 101 where I was promised contact on certain days but not received any, before then finally being called by an officer with an update on my case which I believe is totally unacceptable.

The stress/fear I have been subjected to over these past weeks has led me to suicidal planning and if it was not for the victims' support I would have killed myself, they are fabulous and caring contacting me once a week to check on my well-being. I am so frustrated and worn out by this whole procedure I have chosen to email the officer to drop the case as I have now lost all faith.

I will now be able to take civil action through my solicitors against him personally at my own expense.

I reported this assault and threats to kill to the police as I was concerned not only about the risk to my friends and family but to the general public and community welfare. The suspect is a high-risk individual who poses a considerable risk considering he has previous reports of the very same nature.

I am so distressed by this whole matter and the services I have received.

This apology for a Police force is not fit for purpose.
My van was stolen early hours Tuesday morning.I of course reported to GMP got the crime number.
Not had any response from this useless not fit for purpose apology for a police force.I don’t even know which officer is dealing with my case,that is of course they have even allocated my case to one.
Or maybe they are too busy playing video games instead of going on the beat.
Or maybe their priority is those who may say naughty words on Social media that are anti woke or anti left wing.

They are a sick joke.

I called the Greater Manchester police today because my naibour was smashed his home appliances with anger. He shouted woods through my face and he threw metals on my car. He sweared me as well when I tried to calm him down. The pieces of the woods are left in the stairs. Police didn't pay any attention to my call. I called the police at 15:30 and they called me back at 21:30 and gave me an appointment for Wednesday at 13:00. What should I do tomorrow or anytime later if I see him again with his kind of reactions or if he wants to attack me? How can I defend my self?

Barclays Bank had opened Naim Hanif’s Business Bank Account with just a hand written Application Form and no KYC whatsoever and no passport or driving licence. When Devonshire closed My Case he told me that he had Reported Hanif to Insolvency so that he could not open up any more Limited Companies and Frsudulent Business Bank Accounts. This is absolute rubbish as Hanif went onto open 8 more Limited Companies which he quickly dissolves after using them for CRIMINAL FRAUD. Hanif who should be in Prison drives currently drives around Europe and the Middle East in a Lamborgini while I lost £75k so no wonder GMP are the worst Police Force in the UK ! Only gave 1 star so I could comment.. Iphone 14 reported lost or stolen police do nothing close case without making any effort to help. The following day track my iPhone flags up that it's in the actual police station, yet they insist nothing has been logged and its not in lost property.. when you speak to main desk the result is ' we have a lot of dodgy ppl in here!' Hmm is that actual criminals or just the ppl who are paid to protect and serve the PUBLIC... PUBLIC MEANING THE VICTIMS NOT THE PERPETRATORS.. Don't bother contacting this police force, they are not protecting victims whatsoever especially when you are not a native to this country.

Useless excuse making lazy t*ts giving criminals an inspiring reason to carry on with criminal activity. But hey! They always look good to give TV interview. Hurts that I pay their wages with other tax payers getting nothing for our money.

Manchester police are a total waste of time. The police could not care less about the victims of crime, in my experience the police are far more interested in looking after the perpetrator. I was both threatened with a knife + harassed by a neighbour, when I was threatened by my neighbour, the police took 2 days to call out + then the 2 officers made it very clear they could not care less + they were on the side of the perpetrator. The government needs to step in and investigate how this useless police force operates.

Suffer harassment from neighbour i house share with on a daily basis but months & months on & nothing changes to the point where my only option is harass her back. Witness to regular racist abuse but because im white & its not aimed at me its not a problem worth their time. At the point now where my mental health is at its lowest & have had multiple conversations with ambulance service & victim support but gmp show little interest or give excuses. Local MP next. Suffer racism & harassment? Don't report it just suffer & live in abject misery & get used to it quick.. Im pi**ed off & desperate, can you tell?
2 stars for the only 2 officers who did take the time to come & speak to me.

I would have given 0 stars if at all possible. This morning in the Abbey Hey area, a very large Bully/Mastiff type dog was roaming freely without its owner. This was in the Vine Street/Debdale Park Area. Dog walkers were terrified as there was no indication of this dogs temperament and also zero owner present. I phoned GMP who informed me that it was a matter for the dog warden and not themselves. Upon reading about a similar incident involving a dog of this type (no owner present) attacking severely another dog in manchester city centre. Police were dispatched to that incident and dealt with the situation appropriately. I am not suggesting that I know the dogs temperament of this morning. But with no Owner present and due to its size it was a concern (or in my view should have been ). I have phoned GMP to point out this inconsistency and was told that my report should have been passed through and taken by the GMP Control Room. I was then told that should I see the Dog again with its owner and should it not be on a lead then it was for myself to approach and ask that the dog be placed on a lead ???? I have made an official complaint. This dog without an owner present could have posed a substantial threat to everyone They could not have been less interested (in my view) this morning.

They go on about protecting women yet I had to call 999 on one of their officers at my front door. He knew he didn’t want to speak to me yet threatened and tried to force his way into my house and then when I refused he got very very nasty. I called 999 and he had had already attached a note to the log for me to be arrested on sight. I had done anything and he was looking for a male that he knew the name of. Im a 46 year old woman with chronic health problems. I tried to make a complaint and was basically told to calm down and the officer was wrong as he knew who he wanted but he was doing his job?? I’ve never had a positive interactions with the police, I was the victim of domestic violence many years ago and they used to tell me to learn to keep my mouth shut. They are nothing but bullying, nasty power mad people who have no respect for the public. I would never deal with a male police officer as they are so sexist and judgemental it makes me sick. One of my sons wanted to join and I feel that strongly about the police, I told him we’d disown him as a family. Why would anyone want to join this corrupt archaic organisation that has no consequence for its actions. They ALL want sacking
