I had my car stolen from outside my front door and reported it to the Police 14 minutes after it was stolen. After after two weeks insurance company wrote the vehicle off and as it was only three months old when it was stolen I had to go through extensive interviews with the police and the insurance company over the theft of my car. 10 weeks later, I get a phone call from the police telling me that the car being found less than 3 miles from home, I live in a very heavily CCTV area so why it wasn’t picked up earlier I don’t know. The vehicle was parked outside a company who rang the police every day for 10 weeks and nobody attended my car or contacted me. They had been ringing the police from the day after it was stolen so how come it didn’t link up with a registration number that my missing car have been found. the police asked me if I would go to court if they found the person who stole my vehicle which is highly amusing because he couldn’t even find my car despite somebody ringing them repeatedly and telling them it was outside their door. I don’t think you can actually get any more incompetent than that and it reinforces what a totally useless police force GMP actually are. At my interview with Loss Adjuster when he discovered my car was in the GMP area he said to me if it was parkedthree streets down it wood still never found becausethey’re useless and don’t look into Car crime at all, he said he did at one point but the last 10 years GMP and Car crime absolutely useless. I’ve tried to make a complaint directly to the police but that never comes out to be anything because he ignore you so now I’m making a complaint to the IOPCC.

Members of the public will be aware hotels are being used to house overseas peoples which means independent reporters are covering this issue since its a public intrest story.a few reporters checked out the vic hotel in oldham part of the GMP arsa .the reporters wanted to see if the hotel was open if not why .at no point did yorkshire rose etc go into the hotel but staff rung the plod up and made a flase report against the reporters saying they were breaking in the police came out enmass 3 cars one van total .
The reporters explained who they were what they were doing and they intended to go .one sgt asked a few times if they were going yorkshire rose asked if he was the " top dog " ie in charge there next min the sgt gos hands on " right yoi are arrested " he did not inform them why which pace rules etc all 3 reporters were nicked on what is a low level issue .
So yet again the police come running enmass on a fake report by staff at the hotel .
The officers are happy to abuse peoples rights and clearly the aim will be to stop the reporters from reportimg ie bail terms which will stop them from traveling talking reporting and gping online .
But hey comsiderijg the past events in oldham regrads that force coverimg up grooming and rapes clearly this is expected they are a cesspit of a police force .

Oh, received 2 phone calls off a private number today but have them blocked then received a text message off the 'professional standards branch' within Greater Manchester Police saying: Good Morning, The Professional Standards Branch (PSB) within Greater Manchester Police (PSB) have received your complaint.

I apologise it has taken some time to make contact. At this time we are receiving a high number of enquiries/complaints.

Your complaint has been logged under reference CO/04451/25 and is being allocated to an assessment officer for assessment/review, who will make further contact with you in due course. Regards PSD. About my last review I did on the incompetent, power mad, trigger happy idiots. Not the point they are receiving more complaints now, I'll probably be hanging off a bridge before they get back to me about the complaint I made on the 2nd June, and I won't be contacting them before I drop off that bridge. My solicitor already has the evidence and I will make sure my phone doesn't mysteriously go missing when I am dead so have a good time talking to the coroner, try blagging your way out of court 😏

Just watchedcctv footage of these scumbags pull up on a 16 year old boy walking an xl bully that was on a lead and muzzled they then sprayed the 16 year old with Cs gas then pulled the muzzle off the dog and then killed it basicly murderers that dog was like family to someone

My mother was drugged with oramorph before her death , restrained with bruising , gold taken , her will taken by members of the family who she hated , I've been harassed, called a slag and put on bail twice.
Yet the persons in question nothing I get called a slag nowt happens I call my nephew a slag I'm arrested put on bail how .
Gmp is an absolute disgrace it fails so many people And like I said if Harold Shipman was caught earlier by the police people wouldn't of died but then again they don't do their job .
I was thrown in a cell twice 12 hours and 10 hours first time my anxiety hit rock bottom I scratched myself pretty bad on my face and arms due to mental health and I wasn't even looked at just kicked out and left to walk home which is some distance, no drink no food offered once.
The same sergeant dealing with this arrogant is putting it polite.
No wonder other countries look down on our justice system it stinks and bent

My mother was taken from me by family members that hadn’t been in her life for 17 years drugged , abused and now dead.
All her gold taken prior these vultures weren’t in her will but threatened people and took everything now myself my mothers career and next of kin is on bail for the second time due to asking for my ashes of my mother .
Not once have GMP investigated her death not once have they listened to me just thrown me in a cell both times 10 plus hours treated like shit and accuses of stalking someone I hate with a passion and the reason they haven’t been in outlet lives for 17 yrs their vile .
My mother begged me the night before to not leave her alone with a member of the family which I didn’t unfortunately I didn’t realise till after and witnessing it she was been drugged with oramorph and the worst part is the nurse involved from a different district never met my mother who was dating a member of the family knew when she was going to die to the clock .
No wonder people have no faith in this justice system and GMP.
Harold shipman killed how many people before been found out maybe if the police did their job and listen instead of accusing falsely too might I add then their stats might not be so low for been crap.
Or is it because the member of the family works in security and their words valued more.

After an out of hours GP Bardoc getting the call wrong and relaying the call to greater Manchester police tonight . I would like to thank GMPfor ringing and checking up on my daughter making sure she was safe within minutes of them receiving the call. This was very reassuring knowing that she is in safe hands. Thank you so much.

What a joke what a service? I was scammed by a builder to the sum of £20,500. To add insult to injury he also stole my paving flags which were lifted when he dug the foundation for my extension. This is all that was done as everything else was substandard even though it was only 20% of the total job. He disappeared and stopped taking my calls. I was told by a GMP officer when I reported the theft that the other behaviour was fraud by misrepresentation as the builder misled me and didn't fulfil the contract. After being led down the garden path by the investigating officer I made a complaint. Turns out they investigated internally without consulting me and decided it wasn't worth pursuing. No one bothered to look at the information I had which would have supported the theft and the fraud. While leading me along the builder who owns 5 buy-to-let properties, declared himself bankrupt he misrepresented his assets. Shortly after this he got married and went away on honeymoon using my money I guess. I offered this information to the police who have done nothing about it or ever mentioned it in any communication. I have information from 2 other customers of this builder where the work was substandard which again supports fraud by misrepresentation. GMP don't want to know and please don't get me started on Trading Standards at Trafford! another waste of Council Tax money! So while I had to borrow over £35,000 to get my job done this thief is free to continue stealing and defrauding the public. GMP a complete waste of money and time in my opinion!!! Oh and don't bother to complain because even that was a joke. The outcome was a review of my complaint and the officer who did the review referred to the officer involved as a he in the outcome letter when it was a female officer! Shows how much attention was attributed to the review. GMP a set of jokers in my opinion. I want a refund of my Council that pays for these two services. They not helping me!!

My partner was hit off her bike (20/02/25) by a careless driver passing over lane when it was not clear which resulted in an incident of my partner being hit off her bike, she sustained a knee injury. The incident was report to GMP with CCTC evidence, but GMP claim there is not evidence of lack of care from the motorist on the 05/03/2025, from my understanding you are not allowed to hit a cyclist or pedestrians with a motor vehicle in my circumstance so I’m not sure how they got to their conclusion, just
Seems like they don’t want to deal with the work they are paid to do. The motorist has not Informed the police he hit a cyclist either.

Police been out 35 times as I've been terrorised robbed burgled criminal damage and theft with witnesses to back it given to police 1 year later still no charges. The people terrorising me are from Tunisia im UK born gmp have not helped me or anything I've been ramned of road buy the same people risking my life and still gmp do nothing. No wonder people have took things into there own hands

The biggest crime they can detect is a car driving on a bus lane. Any more serious crimes, theft, stabbings etc is way out of their level. Useless full of excuses doughnut eaters.

I wanted to leave this positive review as the police seem to get such a bad rep and I wanted to thank them.
I had a tyre blow out on the motorway and was quite panicked and scared - I phoned breakdown and insurance and they advised I call the police with it being a motorway. The man answering the police phone was very patient, thorough and took my details then made sure he located me on a camera and explained he would be watching me to make sure I was safe until help arrived. A small thing and nothing major I know but it made me feel safe and was very much appreciated. Thank you!
