DID WORK IN MARCH, NOW JUNE AND STILL NOT PAID, SHOCKING COMPANY AND IM FINISHED. some UK COMPANIES PAY WITHIN 3 DAYS. don't WORK FOR THEM IF YOU EXPECT QUICK PAYMENTS.

This company should not be trading in England. Assignments done in March Not Paid. Malaysian replies to my query on payment relate to nothing that I have asked. Either their business model is bad or as I suspect a complete SCAM Company. Based in Makasie.Dtay Clear

One of their customer assistants swapped a location for a mystery shopping visit and confirmed it. After I completed, they just didn't approve an I still didn't get paid for it. No answer for my emails and they have just a Malaysian phone number they never answer. completely rip off.

Hi I'm writing this from Japan.
I have been working for GBW over one year as a part time.
It took so long to get paid all the time.
But this time, I still can't get my February paid. What's happening right now?
I asked them so many times but they don't reply at all.
Pay my salary right away!

The absolute worst mystery shopping company out there, withholding pay for a job i completed in March, sent many emails and online enquiries and all ignored. Court case started against them. Their pay times are beyond ridiculous, some times having to wait 6 weeks!

I would avoid these scam artists at all costs. Many mystery shopping companies out there and they are all better than GBW.

Update: quick to remove assignments i assigned myself yet reluctant to respond to letters before action. All goes in my favour.

I did shops for them in February but still waiting for my payment or to be at least reimburse what i spent doing them. Its a joke every time i ring or message i get excuse after excuse then they have the hide to ask if ill go do another assignment as a priority.....WHAT THE??????
just give me my pay so i can move on and find a honest company.

I completed three priority shops in Feb 2019 totally $615 and am still to receive payment. I have been given excuses ranging from payroll needs to be contacted to they are busy with many countries. I pointed out they don't follow their own guidelines for accuracy and this was ignored.
Do not shop for them. I won't be anymore.
No wonder I stopped doing shops for them the first time around and they have trouble finding people.

SCAM..SCAM..SCAM..STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE. I DID MY FIRST ASSIGNMENT TUESDAY. THEY SENT ME A $998.00 POSTAL CHECK. I WAS TOLD CASH IT AT MYBANK. GO TO ANY OF THESE STORES IN MY TOWN ( WALGREEN, KMART, CVS, DOOLAR GENERAL , TARGET. OTHER STORES I NEVER HEARD OF.). Purchase $850.00 of AMAZON GIFT CARDS. EVALUATE THE PERSON HELPING ME, GET THE NAME OF THE PERSON, COMMENT ON HOW MUCH THEY HELPED, HOW QUICK THE SERVICE WAS. ADD MY OWN COMMENTS ON HOW I THOUGH THE STORE COULD BE BETTER!!!! AFTER PURCHASING THE $850.00 I GOT TO KEEP $148.00 FOR MY PAYMENT. GO HOME TAKE PICTURES OF THE CARD AND SEND THE THE PICTURE OF EACH CARD AND RECITE FROM THE STORE/STORES I WENT TO. ALSO SEND THEM ALL MY ANSWERS TO ALL THEY QUESTIONS ON MY INSTRUCTIONS. I THOUGHT ALL WAS GREAT !!! TOOK ME 1/2 HOUR AND MADE $148.00. GREAT RIGHT???

LAST NIGHT I CHECKED TO SEE WHATI HAD IN MY BANK ACCOUNT...... I AM NOW NEGITIVE $772.00 ........ GAPBUSTERS TOOK THE $998.00 OUT OF MY ACCOUNT. WILL NOT ANSWER MY E MAILS. THIS MORNING AT 7:20am FEDEX KNOCKED ON MY DOOR AND LEFT A LARGE ENVELOPE. INSIDE WERE 3 MORE POSTAL CHECKS IN THE AMOUNT OF $998.00 EACH. NO INSTRUCTIONS, JUST FOLDED IN A BLANK PIECE OF WHITE PAPER.
NOW I JUST GOT INSTRUCTIONS TO DONTHE SAME ... CASH THE CHECKS AT MY BANK AGAIN TAKE THE CASH AND AND BUY $$$ in. AMAZON GIFT CARDS AGAIN AND DO THE SAME THING. THIS TIME I KEEP $248 . THEY STOLD ALL THAT $998.00 FROM MY ACCOUNT.

I have fully completed two jobs for this company( Dec 2018 and Jan 2019) and after numerous inquiries I still have not been paid for the money spent or job fee. No phone number to call and file a complaint. Total scam

My advice! Do not proceed with any form of assignment; I completed three mystery shop assignments, which was in mid January. I wrote to (GBW) explaining that the 4-6 week payment deadline had passed, they then responded with the following message;

Hi, Hope you are well


I would like to apologies for the great delay on your payment.


Your payment only started processing on the 15th of March, and you should be able to receive the money within the next 7-8 days time.


Please look out for payment being made under CMC OP or Cambridge Global.

To conclude, someone also said that the payment was processed February 15th, until I then had to send another email; which someone responded back to the above response. Overall, stay way clear from this company; completely and utterly lie about when the payment has been processed.

So GBW until I am personally paid, please do not pester me to carry out any further mystery shop assignments! I will be publishing this review all over too, until payment is made!

I did 2 shops in January 2019, payment was due this month. It has been processing for over 3 weeks now. Was told it was generated on 15th March and I would be paid by April. Last working day has passed and still no money. Refusing to respond to my enquiries sent. They phone and email you harrasing you to take a shop, when you do and it's done within 2 days they can't even pay you on time. Last I'll be using this mystery shopping company

I should have looked up reviews before signing up with these folks. I haven't been paid for shops I did in December 2018. It's now March 2019. I have emailed them through their 'enquiry' system for nearly 6 weeks and I'm told repeatedly that they will check with 'finance'. and that the money has already been sent to PayPal. PayPal doesn't work like this. If the money had been sent I would have it by now. I was late for my first payment by GBW. I would like to be paid the $180 for past shops. Technically I was underpaid by $10 from my former shop but now I'm not so surprised. Please get me taken care of so I can eat this month. thank you.

I have worked for GBW formerly GAPbuster for many years and never had any problems with them. I am always paid it may take a little time such as assignments done in December paid in February. I always get emails offering assignments. I know the payment is not great but some assignments payments are negotiable. I often get phone calls offering me work in my area. The staff are very easy to deal with and will return my calls in person or on their website. There was another company who set up scam website which looked like GBW and fooled a lot of people to sign up with them and relieve them of their hard earned cash.

Hopeless at paying out.Give me Market Force, Tern and React anytime

This company pays, but it takes two months to get paid. I have had to follow up every month regarding pay. I should not have to follow up all the time.

I did my first job for you in early July 2018. I checked your website for paid dates. At that time it said you paid at the end of the month, then when I contacted you about where the pay was you gave me a different story. Then when I pointed out what was on the website it was easier to change the website than pay me. 2 months after the first job I am still waiting for the pay. Then there is the other problems with your instruction for your jobs not matching the requirements or extra photos wanted that were not wanted on the questionnaire. Refusing assignment as there is no business cards but other hand written prof that I have been in the store by the team member. I work for other companies and have never had the problems that I have had with this company including webinars that just never happen. This company is a waist of time and needs to be shut down . They are only a half star

GBW is the worst mystery shopping company. I did 2 jobs in June and I was told that I would be paid by the end of July and I am still waiting for my payment. I tried contacting GBW on their website but I am still waiting and I sent 2 emails and I am still waiting.

Bad company. Took them ages to reply to my email, and to pay me.
I got into trouble for not working for 6 months (when I became full-time at work / sick). They fired me, but not fire someone for incompetence of paying correctly...? I'm sure there's nothing in their agreement that I have to be active.
Also they couldn't care if you're sick, they just want you to work work work.
OH also they sent me an email, asking if I could travel 50km+ like drive to Dalby, and I live in Brisbane. Again, I got into trouble, and they didn't. Which means that these guys are A+ at being bad.
