Refreshingly simple to deal with, in a world where everything is online and you can’t actually speak to someone, these guys nailed it, kept us informed throughout and delivered on time as promised, the guys who delivered it kept us informed of their eta, turned up on time installed the sofas and took all the rubbish away with perfect well done guys very rare these days

My elderly and vulnerable dad ordered a new sofa from Furniture Village, told it would take 6 to 8 weeks. We planned everything carefully around his needs, as change causes him severe distress. To make the transition as smooth as possible, I arranged for his old sofa to be collected on the Thursday, with the new one scheduled for delivery on the Friday.
On Thursday afternoon, the old sofa was successfully removed. Then, at 4:00 PM—less than 24 hours before delivery—I received a call stating the order was incomplete because a part had been sent elsewhere. After numerous calls, I reluctantly agreed for them to deliver what they had, with the promise that the remainder would arrive early the following week.
This is where the customer service completely fell apart:
Monday: I called to chase the missing part. I was told they had messaged the warehouse and would call me back with an update. No one called.
Wednesday: Having heard nothing, I called again and asked to speak to a manager, Barry Knight. I was told he was in a meeting and would call me back. He never did.
Later Wednesday / Thursday: When I called back, a different agent confirmed the notes showed Barry was supposed to call me, but he had simply gone home without doing so. This agent provisionally booked a Saturday morning delivery and promised to call back to confirm.
Friday: Still no confirmation call. I had to chase them late on Friday afternoon to find out what was happening.
Throughout this entire ordeal, I was left constantly trying to manage and reassure my vulnerable father, ensuring someone was always with him while he sat without proper seating.
While the phone agents are always polite on the surface, there was zero effort made to rectify their error, and their communication with the customer is horrific. Furniture Village caused an immense amount of avoidable stress for an elderly customer, and the complete lack of follow-through from management is unacceptable.

Ash served me today and I was very happy with the service. He was polite and professional and I would certainly visit the store again.

The salesman Abdul couldn’t have done more for us. Actually did us a great deal. Would highly recommend them. No pressure selling just very good customer service. Well done!

Our experience was made exceptional and relaxing as Tony the sales manager was extraordinarily helpful and gave us advice on all types of sofa that would help with my wife’s arthritis guiding us to a suite with adjustable lumbar support he also realised that my wife was getting uncomfortable and suggested that we take the leaflets of a few of the suites we chosen and advised us to come back a few weeks later which we did and then when we came back was there to welcome us back and went through the options we’d look at and helped us choose our suite Tony is such an helpful person and can see why he’s the sales manager also Rick who completed the sales was very helpful too

We were well looked after by Paddy and given lots of details about our purchase. Nothing was too much for Paddy, moved chairs for us and looked up prices, just lovely.
