So upon a trip to Cribbs, my partner thought a spontaneous visit to Furniture Village would give us some inspiration as we redecorate. Well, we got just that and thanks to the great team, left with a bargain.
Charlie was an absolute delight (and fellow matcha lover), approaching us when we found a gorgeous green (matcha coloured) chair reduced to clear. She didn't pounce, pressure or push and was just so helpful as we nearly had a domestic about whether it would fit in our car to take away that same day.
Well, Charlie, with the unrivalled help of Jak, made it happen. We really were so so chuffed and thought you were both champions.

We so pleased with our new armchair as it really compliments our living room. Great colour, condition, material and comfort. I highly recommend popping in store and checking what bargains can be found.

We purchased a G Plan Kingsbury 3-seater and 2-seater sofas from Furniture Village in 2024 at a cost of around £8,000. Given the price the price of the furniture we also purchased the Care+ furniture protection policy.

Within approximately two years, one seat has developed a significant loss of support and resilience. The affected seat has deteriorated to the point that you sink noticeably into the junction between the seat base and backrest, resulting in a much lower seating position and making it uncomfortable and more difficult to get up from. The other seats in the suite, including the 2-seater, remain in good condition.

We have raised this both with Furniture Village and the associated insurance provider, Emmiera Group, who acknowledged compaction in the seat, but the claim was declined on the basis of “no faults found”, with reference to normal usage and “favourite seat” wear.

We are not disputing that some softening can occur with use, particularly in the most frequently used seat. However, the level of deterioration in this case is quite ridiculous for furniture of this age and price, and is significantly affecting day-to-day use.

At this stage we are seeking a fair resolution and an explanation of how this level of loss of support is considered acceptable for a premium product within such a short timeframe.

We are still hopeful that Furniture Village and or G Plan will engage properly with the issue and resolve it appropriately.

Rhys was very helpful and knew all the products and prices. He was patient while I looked at options and made useful comments. Great to have good customer service.

Excellent service, all staff were pleasant to deal with and we never felt any pressure to purchase our product. Coffee and biscuits were offered while we dealt with our order which was nice touch. Delivery was quite long but that was because the piece we chose had to come from Italy but this was all explained and the Delivery arrived as we had been told. Well done.

We bought two bar stools. The quality is very good. We spent a lot of time in the showroom mulling over two stools. The sales person was very helpful and patient.
After purchase the stools were available for collection two days later. The warehouse staff were very friendly.

From the moment we stepped into the shop and were welcomed we felt relaxed. As we had driven from Swansea, the member of staff was very thoughtful and told us where the toilet facilities were, the tea/coffee machine and even gave us some cookies. It was nice not to be pressurised and we could look at leisure, but he was always available when we needed him. I am so sorry I didn't catch his name. I would definitely recommend Furniture Village fir choice and value for money. Fingers crossed I don't get any problems when it comes to the delivery. 🙌
