I don’t usually leave negative reviews, and I’ve gone back and forth about posting this one. The reason being, I’ve had no luck getting updates through emails about an ongoing issue with an order — and it’s starting to get frustrating.

First off, I want to say that Frost offers a fantastic range of products for auto restoration. I regularly buy paints, cleaners, rust treatments, and sheet metal from them, and I’ve always been happy with the quality. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them based on those products alone, and I’ll likely continue to order from them in the future.

That said, I placed an order for some Eastwood throatless electric shears back in early March. Unfortunately, they arrived faulty and had to be sent back for a replacement. Since then, it’s been a bit of a mess. Frost didn’t have any replacements in stock at the time, and now — months later in July — I’m still waiting. Every time I email for an update, the expected arrival date changes. What’s worse is that there’s no communication unless I reach out first. I’ve sent three separate emails over three months, and I’m still without the shears.

I get that some of their products come from the States and that delays happen, but from a customer service perspective, this has been really disappointing — especially as a regular customer. It’s frustrating feeling like if I didn’t chase them up every month, I might be forgotten entirely, without a refund or replacement.

To be clear, I still recommend Frost for their product range — they really do offer some great stuff. But this particular situation has been a letdown.

Fantastic range of products and super helpful staff. Order was delivered the next day on free shipping. Definitely the paint supplier of choice! Any questions just give them a call...Excellent!

In comparison to "other" systems this is a first-class product that seriously leaves the others trailing in its wake. The quality is superb although the process needs to be followed to the letter.
Cannot heap enough praise on Frost Auto Restoration products. Also, customer service is outstanding nothing is too much trouble.

This was the first time I used this company. I was searching for a specific product which this company happened to supply. The product information on their website was spot on and made me feel confident to purchase. When the product arrived it was exactly what I wanted and could not be happier with it. Prior to delivery, needed to contact them for updated information and their response was almost instantaneous and very helpful. I have no problem in recommending this company to anyone and I will make them my first call on any future needs.

Ordered and paid for the oil online in the evening and the next day I drove to Haydock and picked it up. No fuss. No bother. I would highly recommend this company.

Very happy with the prompt response from Frost Auto Restoration Techniques, unfortunately, they used (Parcel force/ Royal Mail), who dont deliver if you live in a flat, I had to pick my parcel up from a post office, I would recommend you use a more reliable delivery service, I will be ordering more products from you, it’s refreshing to have a company that does American engine paint in the UK, thankyou for taking good care of me.
