The quality of these nuts and dried fruit, especially for the price, is fabulous. I've tried a lot, and still come back to Forest every time.

I have been buying products from this company for many years and I always thought the quality and flavour was pretty good in the past. This recent purchase of organic cacao powder smelt awful and tasted just as bad. It almost tastes like it has been mixed with malted barley powder and a cup of hot chocolate made from it tastes very similar to ovaltine.

Sadly I will not be buying from this company again as this 5kg bulk purchase of 'Cacao powder' cost me £90 and I feel like I have been scammed with a very low quality questionable substance. Even if it really is cacao powder, it tastes and smells awful and it is nowhere near the quality that this company have sold me in the past.

"Our Organic Cacao Powder is a high-quality product with a naturally rich, bitter cacao flavour and aroma. We have checked the batch supplied with your order, 090426EZ (best before 31 January 2029), and have not identified any concerns or received similar feedback from other customers."

So they have investigated themselves and found that nothing is wrong. Do you think they would actually tell customers if their own product is of bad quality? Do you think they would actually tell customers that other people found their product to be foul and rancid? They have obviously bought tonnes of bad cacao powder and need to off load it onto us so they don't lose money. The problem with that is we all lose money instead.

Do yourselves a favour and buy cacao powder from decent, honest online stores such as Buy Whole Foods Online or Nutricraft. The difference is night and day. Their cacao powders smell and taste beatifully chocolatey and of actual high quality. They have also rectified any problems that I have had in the past instantly without any hassle.

Stay away from Forest Whole Foods is my advice. They are not fit to be selling food and if you ever have any issues you are out of luck as they will do nothing to rectify the situation. The cacao they sell makes me feel ill every time I consume it.

This company is great in many ways. The website is easy to use, they have a huge range of excellent products and anything ordered comes promptly and very well packaged.

Tahini jars smashed and refund was refused as it was a bulk order and I didn't notice the bottom jars had smashed until two months after delivery.

Disappointing as I have been a loyal customer.

Separately, the taste of the Tahini isn't awful, but the Pepperwood product from Amazon is much better.

I’ve been ordering from fwf for a couple of years now and for the second time I’ve ended up paying for one of their “mistakes” I received my recent order plus someone else’s inc delivery note and as an ethical honest person I messaged to let them know , 2 days later they responded and apologised then requested I package the items up and send them back , un be known to me at the time my husband had found the items and thinking they were ours! I messaged to inform and was told I could send back any unopened items, to be honest it would have been a major inconvenience to package up and take to be collected so I called the company and offered to buy them thinking they would be fair….. they knocked £2.54 off the original price, think I agreed out of shock. Like I said I’m honest but if I didn’t tell them they’d be non the wiser but instead they’ve profited from my honesty, really sad but won’t be using them again

Delicious quinoa grains and flour! Quality and taste is wonderful. We use the flour for gluten free roti. Highly recommend.

I made an order based on a product not readily available in the U.K. and thus when I was notified it was in stock I build up an order the same day around it to a cost that would enable free delivery. I was very disappointed to be advised once the other peripheral items had been dispatched that the item I made the order for was not in stock after all and I would be refunded for the cost of just that. I was never given the option of cancelling my order completely. The refund did not appear till I had to chase the company for it 2 weeks later. On the whole I will not be using this company again and will source the product from Germany instead where I can be assured at least it will be in stock.

Great to find a no nonsense company selling top quality organic wholefoods for a reasonable price. My first order was processed and dispatched promptly and all arrived well packaged. I will certainly be recommending Forest Wholefoods and will use it again.

I liked the quality of Almonds, Pistachios, and Mejdool dates. Brazil nut and pecan nuts were passable. Wasnt quite happy with the Cashews - I dont think they are worth the premium and found them to be comparable to supermarkets quality.

Would definitely recommend them, food, quality , range of items is great, will definitely be buying more and item arrived sooner than expected
