ordered food through foodpanda. The restaurant called and says food isn't available. When asked to cancel the order, asked me to go to the restaurant's feedback form on the web to asked for refund. there isn't help available from foodpanda although they are the one who charged me in the first place. Food not delivered and no refund.

FoodPanda SG - VERY BAD processes and customer service

FoodPanda - VERY BAD process and customer service. Not interested at all in helping customers with genuined order issues.

I was ordering for my sis in Singapore who just had an eye operation and intended for the order to be delivered at 6pm. However I clicked the checkout too soon and forgot to set a scheduled time.

I then immediately cancelled the order within the next second (before the restaurant could have accepted) and proceeded to place another order with the correct scheduled time.

I then got on webchat with a guy called Danny and then Freya, their customer support staff were not very helpful. Gave canned system replies and when I asked for a refund to be considered - they just gave a flat NO and insisted they can't do it as the system is not set up that way.

Submitted a paypal dispute (and got an instant refund) based on the following:

- I cancelled almost IMMEDIATELY and made a new order.
- restaurant has not accepted order and no food was prepared
- Their support was not capable or intentional in reviewing any cases manually.

Any consumer laws in any country would not favor merchants who operate this way -no matter what terms or conditions they claim they are backed by.

If Foodpanda is reading this, I would suggest you train your frontline service better to resolve issues like that before it escalates into bad reviews like this - and you still got the chargeback. Very unbecoming of an established provided like your company.

Waiting times over 2 hours and I'm…

Waiting times over 2 hours and I'm unable to cancel my order and get full refund. Customer service insists that I wait for my order even though more than 5 riders have cancelled on picking up my food order

Always late delivery and multiple deliveries before reach my place. When U go to customer support all they do is give u some useless response and do not offer compensation. The service just get from bad to worse now. Horrible max.

Missing item no refund, scamming along with Restaruant in Singaproe

I have ordered a mean from FoodPanda, one item missed and when i tried to reach Foodpanda the live agent Daniel says its fullfilled by restuarant and that restuarant doesnt pick the call nor respond to my whatsapp msg, no address to go physically, and foodpanda doesnt want to refund the money which it collected behalf of restuarant, so its basically scamming with the restuarant in Singapore

The chat agent Nicole refused to…

The chat agent Nicole refused to provide her supervisor. All I'm asking is a fair compensation but she's adamant and declined to give her supervisor and she thinks that she represents the entire company.

Are the representatives getting yelled, humiliated, or disincentivize if they give they're supervisor?

She's a reflection of how people wouldn't care less about the company they represent.

Use Grab instead -- anything but foodpanda

If only we could leave a 0 rating. What an incredibly pathetic company. Takes our order, makes us wait over TWO HOURS, and then suddenly just messages to say the order has been cancelled because they can't deliver. Note that this was dinner and we ordered it at FIVE pm, knowing how crap they are - but still they couldn't deliver. And do they try to do some recovery by offering a decent voucher as compensation? No. FOUR DOLLARS. Seriously? What a joke the management is. They obviously want customers to turn to Grab. Ok sure, Foodpanda!

Avoid buying groceries with food items

Avoid buying groceries with food items. They send close to expiry food and when I feedback that it tasted bad and off. They refused to change or refund.

The food item already turned bad before the expiry date which is just a mere 3months.

Can’t even rate the order from Value Shop after I asked for ‘Help’.

3 hours and food has not arrived…

My food was supposed to take 1 hour to arrive but it has not arrived and it’s almost coming to 3 hours now.

The only solution from foodpanda - cancel order and starve for dinner or just wait. Then if you wait and it doesn’t arrive, they apologise.

My food has now been on the guys bicycle for 2 hours… this is surely a food safety issue even if it’s in a thermal bag!??

Money and refund is not an issue. My trust in food panda is totally dead, will delete app. I’m so hungry now. I will feel really stressed if I have to order from them again.

Really disappointed

Really disappointed. I ordered at foodpanda domino's pizza for my kids, they cancelled my order without any call, contact and mentioned reason that unable to find. I didn't receive my refund amount. I contacted help center and they said you should contact domino's. I called domino's restaurant they said foodpanda will refund the amount, they are not responsible. He said you placed order at foodpanda thats why refund will be paid by foodpanda and he confirmed that due to heavy rain and food unavailability they couldn't manage the orders and they cancelled. I contacted again food panda and now its been 6 daya they are saying your case is with concerned team and they are working on your case. Today I contacted again at food panda help center and agent said that due to mentioned reason they cannot refund. This is the customer service of foodpanda which I am facing since last 6 days, No one contacted me for delivery, domino's itself confirmed that order was cancelled but food panda is not willing to refund my amount. Really disappointed, pethatic services, I was a regular customer but after that I changed my mind I'll never ever use their services, nor recommend any one. They are cheating

The FoodPanda platform is appalling

This platform is appalling. I just cancelled my PandaPro subscription. The company clearly doesn’t have sufficient riders. I put my order in for food at 4.49PM. I paid extra for “Priority Delivery” as well. An hour later, the app is telling me that delivery will be another “30-45 mins” and this is after it kept changing the expected delivery time. The platform is also dishonest as it tries to blame the restaurant instead of the fact that it doesn’t have sufficient riders. I ordered from Sin Hoi Sai and have ordered plenty of times from this restaurant via Grab and it’s always fast! I tried to get assistance but was not able to get any help at all. It even told me that there were too many enquiries and told me to go back for help in 10 minutes. Suffice it to say - I never got any help. 90 minutes after my order, the platform is now telling me that it’ll be another “20-30 minutes”. I want my money back including the recent auto renewal of my PandaPro subscription.

Riders now yell? 🤨

Another frustrating experience with Foodpanda, except this time it wasn’t the platform, it was the delivery rider. Couldn’t speak basic English, couldn’t get a short message across, and then had the nerve to yell at me and say I was wasting his time.

Foodpanda, please vet riders for basic communication skills (specifically in English), before sending them out, and train anyone who can’t handle simple customer interactions. The reason why your rating is so low on here is because of experiences like this.

Concern About foodpanda Logistics and Long Walking Deliverieswould like to share a concern…

I would like to share a concern regarding the logistics arrangement for my recent orders with foodpanda.

For the past three consecutive days, the food deliveries to my home have been assigned to delivery partners who were walking on foot. The restaurants I ordered from are not particularly near my residence, and it would take at least 15 minutes or more to walk from the merchant to my place.

While I appreciate the effort of the delivery partners, I honestly feel concerned that they are being assigned deliveries that require such a long walking distance. Some of the delivery partners appear to be older individuals, and it seems unfair for them to have to walk such a distance while carrying multiple food orders.

From a customer’s perspective, this also affects the quality of the food upon arrival. In Singapore, many of the food items are packed in plastic bags without proper thermal insulation, and by the time the food reaches me after a long walk, it is often no longer warm.

As someone who lives alone and relies on food delivery quite frequently (especially since Deliveroo has ceased operations in Singapore), I hope the Foodpanda logistics team can review how delivery assignments are being allocated. If the logistics operations are managed regionally or internationally, I hope greater consideration can be given to distance, delivery method, and rider welfare when assigning orders.

Food delivery services play an important role for customers like myself, and I hope foodpanda can improve this aspect to ensure both better food quality for customers and fairer conditions for delivery partners.
