Went to the store in Altringham, met Dale who gave us great advice, made us a coffee and sent us out a quote, we ordered when we got home. Great service, great guy and excellent service.
3 men arrived
3 men arrived, brought products into house and assembled whole bedroom furniture… tidied up and took away all wrapping. Couldn’t fault them at all, very polite and courteous. Very happy with the furniture also… would definitely recommend Feather & Black and will be using them again soon to order some more furniture.

Bed came well packaged and in good…
Bed came well packaged and in good order- easy to put together- however the bed has been stored somewhere where the fabric has a very unpleasant and pungent smell. It has been aired for days, but the smell is very unpleasant. The bed will require professionally cleaning to remove the smell.

We went to the Milton Keynes store. The member of staff who served us could not have been more helpful. She was very knowledgeable about the products. Helped us to understand how to choose the right mattress. We can away having learned a huge amount about the mattress and how it was made. Fantastic service

Unprofessional, misleading, and a complete waste of my time
I had an extremely frustrating experience with Feather & Black in Tottenham Court Road, and what made it worse is that customer service has completely ignored my formal complaint for over a week.
I was quoted an armchair priced at £599 with a manager-authorised 20 percent discount. During my first visit, both the salesperson (Calem) and the store manager (Toni) clearly told me that I could pay using a zero-interest instalment plan. Based on this, I was encouraged to return later to complete the purchase. A written quote was issued, dated 26/12/2025 and valid until mid-January.
When I returned to finalise the order, everything suddenly changed. I was told for the first time that finance had a minimum spend. First it was £500, then during the same conversation it became £750, and finally I was told that no instalment option was available at all. I was then pushed (by a woman) to add extra items to meet the threshold in order to fix their mistake.
This is not a policy issue. This is blatant miscommunication and poor sales practice. If finance has minimum requirements, that should be disclosed when the customer explicitly asks about payment options, not after they are invited back to the showroom.
I work in furniture retail myself. In any professional store, this situation would have been acknowledged and handled properly. Instead, responsibility was avoided, excuses were made, and no accountability was taken.
To make matters worse, I contacted customer service in writing to raise this formally and have received no response whatsoever.
Feather & Black presents itself as a premium brand, but this experience was anything but premium. If you value clear communication, professionalism, and basic respect for customers’ time, I would strongly advise shopping elsewhere.

My wife and I went to Feather and Black in Cheadle to buy a new mattress.
From the very moment we set foot in the shop our positive experience began as we were greeted by Zac, a highly personable young salesman. Zac not only proved to be extremely knowledgeable but polite, friendly and helpful.
I judge customer care based on our experience with the John Lewis Partnership, Zac surpassed all!
