However, we're very sorry to learn that your delivery experience did not meet your expectations. We understand how frustrating it must have been for your wife to be left to fit the chair legs herself, particularly given the difficulty this caused. This is certainly not the level of service we aim to provide.
We appreciate you bringing this to our attention as we do offer two different delivery options to alleviate this problem the Essential which you purchased which was a basic delivery to the room of your choice with no-unpacking or set-up or a Premium Delivery & Setup which includes unwrapping and assembly of all applicable furniture leaving them ready for use, we will discuss with Max why this service wasn't offered on this occasion. If there's anything we can do to help further, please don't hesitate to contact our customer service team so we can look into your experience in more detail.

Sales were.very helpful and professional. Nothing was too much trouble. Delivery of chairs came earlier than estimated and delivery men were friendly and carried the bulky boxes into the house and placed them just where I asked them.

Outstanding service on purchase of a new bed from Fairway.
My purchase of a new adjustable bed was seamless right through to delivery & set up, & even taking my old bed away! The staff in the St.Austell store were very helpful & gave the right amount of help without being pushy.
The men who delivered the bed were also super helpful & very polite.
As a full time Carer this was an extra thing to see to on my already full schedule, but I can honestly say that Fairway staff made it an easy process & are a delight to deal with.
I am thrilled with my purchase & with the service I received. Well done Fairway!

Fairway went above and beyond to ensure that the sofa I had ordered would fit through the small cottage door that I have. They went as far as test driving it by bringing the showroom sofa to test the space needed! Amazing customer service .

From entering the store to choosing our…
From entering the store to choosing our settees the staff were not pushy but left us to peruse the store until we saw the ones we wanted, Brian who took our order was excellent and explained fully everything about the services and warranties/insurance cover etc and ways to pay for said items. He also explained about how long it would take before delivery and would inform us of a date which he duly did which was the 8th July 2026.
The furniture was delivered on time by the two delivery drivers who were excellent and placed the settees where we wanted them without any problems and took photos after they had finished of the settees in place, very well done to both of them.
My wife then found a crease in one of the middle back cushions after the delivery, I reported this to ANGIE with photos the next day at the Newton Abbot branch who handled the problem promptly and later she informed us that Neil from G Plan would contact us to arrange a date to see the problem, he contacted us and arranged a date for the 14th July.
He arrived this morning at the time and date we arranged and sorted the problem to hos and our satisfaction.
We would like to state that we have always been highly satisfied with everything we have purchased from Fairways Furniture and find the staff friendly and informative and not pushy and we always recommend this store to friends and family.
All staff should be congratulated for all their effort and customer satisfaction, well done to all staff in branch from two satisfied customers.
