If I could leave minus stars I would. I previously left a good review as they were very helpful on us ordering a frameless shower door. Until, we had a problem then it became hard to get the on the phone and even harder to get them to do anything. First door was made too small by them (they worked out the sizes needed for door and panel based on our specifications but the seal barely connected!) After fighting about it for some weeks they eventually agreed to remake it. Now we have had a 3 further doors delivered and each one has been damaged. They are slow to respond and unhelpful every time. I’ve just been told after yet another damaged door delivered with multiple chips by the Company Director it’s fine as they will be covered by the hinges! If you want shoddy items and awful customer service go ahead and use them but my advice is please do not!

Order placed 31st March 2026 for a simple glass shower enclosure and as yet i still have no delivery date! I have chased this company every single day and i just get fobbed off with excuses that they will look into it and get back to me to let me know a delivery date, which they never do. Initial delivery was supposed to be 5-7 days and we are now on day 19 and counting and still no one can provide a delivery date. Absolutely shocking service from this company.

The toughened glass that I bought was sold at a good price to the specification I provided. The presales support was great and delivery was quick. I did spot a mark on one of the pieces of glass. I contacted via email and arranged a replacement through Helen Doherty. Helen was very helpful and the replacement arrived quickly. I would have no hesitation using Express toughening again for future needs.

I ordered two glass doors and a glass counter-top for a bathroom. The doors had to fit exactly in already-built walls.
I got excellent support and advice in preparing the order, including coatings, corner treatment, hinges etc.
Once ordered, delivery was quick and accurate.
Now installed, the doors fit perfectly and look great. The counter-top is not critical on fit, but looks wonderful.
I am about to order more glass from them for a stair banister.

I was impressed from the beginning. Very very good customer relations and attention to detail. We had a small hitch but they sorted it immediately. Will definitely use again.

I recently needed to replace a glass balustrade door panel. After submitting my order I was contacted by Ghazel at Express Toughening Ltd to check the order before processing. Thank goodness she did as I had left out the drill holes for the hinge brackets. Ghazel was happy to amend the order without fuss or fanfare. The door arrived this morning and has been made exactly to specifications given. I have used Express Toughening Ltd twice now and on both occasions I have been left extremely satisfied, both in terms of quality and also price. I live 450 miles from their factory but still found the cost for transporting very reasonable.

Ordered a bespoke glass table top for our dining room table - they offered the best price I could find for what we wanted (6mm low iron), even with delivery up to the North East. It was delivered ahead of schedule by a friendly driver and the product is first class - fits perfectly as measured and is crystal clear. Highly recommended.

Have dealt with this company twice and, on each occasion, I have been very happy with the level of customer service provided. Both Helen and Ghazal were friendly, professional and responded quickly to my requests and queries. Products arrived safely, on schedule. Good experience.

Excellent service, my 6mm Glass table top (1500mm by 900mm polished edges with dubbed corners for safety) was delivered as per specification very happy with quality, placed over my existing wooden table (glass was heavy enough and does not slip so no need for small rubber feet under glass).

Delivery was completed on the date given by company - delivery driver was very professional and arrived within the scheduled time given.

Delivery is not clear, they give you a date for delivery and when followed up, they revert back to their estimated lead time. Lack communication with customer and when you do speak to them, the agent was obnoxcious and unwilling to assist. Was transferred to Helen who did manage to get the order out eventually. On receiving the order, albeit paid for, the corners of the glass were not dubbed. Refund requested and had to chase again as it took 3 weeks. Overall poor service, not to spec, lacked communication and bad attitude no compensation.

I ordered glass from this company several times and was never disappointed. Always received the order as scheduled. Quality of the glass is perfect with smooth finishing and glossy look. These guys are really professional in glass industry.

Got the "We have finished processing your order and it is now ready to ship." email on the 19th without a tracking id. Phoned the company 2 days after and been told I was going to be contacted by their couriers by this week for the delivery date. Nothing happened. Phoned to company and spoken to 2 people from their transport and sales department. Same answers. "They will call you next week without any firm date what so ever". Blaming the couriers. First and last time I do business with this company!

Worked with Helen and the EGW team to develop a new Glass Splashback for our updated kitchen. This included our providing a bespoke image (a modified Shutterstock image). Everything went to plan and good end result. We have worked with EGW previously sourcing glass panels for our patio area. Again excellent service.
