I discovered that my passport expired

I discovered that my passport expired, and didn’t know about it until I booked my trip to Sweden. I had about a week to get my passport, and expedited my passport from them. I received my passport in 3 days and was able to go on my vacation.

Bad, bad company

Bad, bad and bad! Do not use this company...they are crooks. They falsify the fees by not revealing total cost...My financial institite will fight them. BEWARE OF THESE CREEPS!

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!

I wish I could give zero stars. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY AND DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY. Working with the manager and his fraudulent company, was potentially the most awful experience of my life. We paid for 1-3 day urgent and not only did we not receive the passport in time, but he was of no help and completely, blatantly rude, disrespectful and to be quite frank horrifyingly abrasive when we inquired as to the status of our 500 dollar purchase. During the process, I did all the work, communicating with the state department and fedex back and forth, all while informing the person who was supposed to be doing HIS JOB as to the status of my passport. He deserves to pay me back my money, and more. When we called their office, their secretary blatantly ignored our calls, sent us to hold and consistently hung up on us, for two hours straight. I can only assume this was at said manager's request because she was terribly embarrassed and quite obviously ashamed when we then showed up at the office and all of their representatives were in fact...not busy. Doing nothing. He then ignored all of our e-mails, I have all the proof, and then had the nerve to ask us for more money to ship my passport. Do not trust this indecent incompetent place.

I am still waiting for a return call or …

I am still waiting for a return call or return email. It makes me very nervous that a company does not answer their phone. I am married to an attorney, and my father is an attorney. They are also very concerned and stated that they will look into this for me. I have told them that when I first mailed it, I got a call back immediately because one of the items I needed to send wasn't filled out accurately. At the top of the renewal form, it states "Please Print Legibly Using Black Ink Only." Despite their instructions re typing it, because that was the instruction from the state department, The phone call I got back was from John Krebs and he seemed very irritated with me, and said I was wrong, that the renewal form's instructions for black ink are only for the signature. I would recommend their instructions say "despite the instructions on the form that states to use black ink legibly, please fill out the form typewritten on line." That woud've helped me. Also, John was irritated even more that I didn't include my divorce decree. But, I told him I had. He looked again, and acknowledged he had it. So, this didn't start off very good. yesterday the $170 came out of my bank, and my deadline is very soon. But, no one will call me back or email me back with a status. I want so badly to trust that this company will be professional. And the reviews are mixed, so I'm not sure which to trust. I will do anything I can to help expedite simply getting a response. If any representative of this company is reading this review, will you please return my call? I would really appreciate if we can work together on this. Thank you so much. Very poor experience, late, and shakedown fees

I used express passport at the start of the year to quickly renew an expired passport. I paid for 10 day service and after submitting my materials, didn't even get a response for two weeks. I contacted the company repeatedly by phone and email and had to constantly pester them into taking action.

There was an issue at the state department (at least that's what I was told - later experience makes me not trust that) that delayed the processing 7-10 days, but all told my 10 day expedition took just under 2 months.

For my Visa, I went through another company for which I paid for 10 day expedited service and received my Visa in 6 days. They contacted me daily as they knew (as did Express Passport) I was short on time.

But absolute worst part - and the reason I am giving my first ever 1 star review - came after. Once I was on my trip, I received a cryptic email from my processing specialist requesting my credit card security code (unsecure, via email) so they could charge me a $170 fee I had already paid, or I'd risk my passport BEING REVOKED. While traveling out of the country. I immediately responded that I had the receipt from that fee and there must be a mistake, to which I never received a reply despite the email demanding a response within 72 hours or they would strand me outside the country. I followed up 3 times with no response. I can only think they were trying to scare me into paying more for what was already a horrible service.

Avoid. This. Company.

This company is a complete SCAM!!!!

This company is a complete SCAM! I needed my passport for a business trip to Europe. I selected the 8-10 day expedite. I sent in all of the required documentation and received another request for an additional release. I asked where to send it to. John Kreb said to send it to the address on the form. It was a VA address to a third party courier company. I followed up 8 days after sending it and he seemed confused as to why I sent it there. After numerous calls, he said that he confirmed that the courier had the additional release. He sat on it for 10 days and did nothing. I knew that I would not get it in time for my trip because he had not even sent my documents to the courier. I told him to immediate send me back my passport. I went to the passport agency in San Diego and received my passport the next day without any issues. John has no conscience. He is completely incompetent or simply does not care about stressing people out and costing them thousands on lost trip costs. They have an "F" BBB rating. John said that it is because they do not pay them. If you are reading this and already sent them your application and passport, you probably having a si king feeling in your stomach now. Call them and have them send it back to you immediately. They will not help you. The good reviews must all be fake. They simply do not care.

Updated 8/7/17: Awful awful...where is my property....AWFUL!!!

Update 8/7/17 - My trip was a success. At the last minute Express Passport came through - I got my passport and had a beautiful trip to Italy. The stress, time and extra money charged to make everything happen was exhausting. I am thankful that their courier was so helpful and communicated with me. Thanks Lloyd! You Rock!

Awful awful...where is my property! I leave Monday for my trip and I have received nothing from them. Paid all my fees sent all my documents and nothing. Have called several times have emailed, messaged them and now this. My beautiful trip to Italy is ruined.

Please don't ever use these people. EVER!!!!!

This is a HORRIBLE SERVICE company!!! DO NOT USE !! They will waste your time and if you are lucky you'll get your original documents back. After the promised date of arrival. Save your money and just go through the Miami passport agency

I realized at the last minute that mine and my husband's Passports would expire while we were in the Bahamas. John came through in a pinch and saved our vacation! He even dropped the passports off at my business, because I'd been running around so much. This is a terrific service!

Scam.
Paid for the 10-12 day passport service. Fedex all the paperwork on 6/1/2017, and today is the 6/22/2017. That's 15 business days. I paid for this service because I needed the passport by this coming weekend, but it seems I'm screwed. My last e-mail was not responded to, thanks Sandy. Last thing I heard from Sandy was on 6/14/2017, saying I should get it that week or "early" next week. Just another scam company praying on people who need their stuff in a hurry and who unfortunately find their ad on google. I wish I found this review site sooner. By the looks of past reviews, I'll be waiting months. I'm going to get my money back via the credit card company and call the State Department.

I am so pleased with the service I …

I am so pleased with the service I received from Express Passports, especially John Krebs. Not only did I receive my passport (and my baby's passport) within 2 weeks, Express Passports organized everything so all I had to do was go to the courthouse and provide the package they prepared.
The clerk at the courthouse even said how impressed she was with how organized and thorough I was with the information I provided. I was in and out in 15 minutes. Thank you Express Passports! I will definitely be referring you to my friends.

Paid for expedited service (processing time of 3-5 business days) and in two days from now they will have had my passport documentation in their hands for two weeks. I was initially told my passport would be coming Thursday or Friday. Now I am being told it will not be delivered until Tuesday. I am leaving for an overseas trip on Thursday so this is cutting it a tad close, which is why i paid for the expedited service! I will be calling every bureau imaginable, if I don't hear back from John and/or Sandy with an explanation and a promise to deliver my passport no later than Friday. Completely and utterly unacceptable. Do they not realize people depend on this service? Isn't this supposed to be the very nature of what they do?

DONT USE THIS AGENCY!

DONT USE THIS AGENCY!! They don't return phone calls or emails, they don't pick up their phone, and you might have to cancel your trip because they send your passport too late. I signed up for a 5-7 day turnaround and it took a month. They sent the passport so it would arrive a day before my trip.

This company is a waste of money

This company is a waste of money! I entered that I needed my passport for June 1st which was 10 days from the mailing date. So I tried the 10-14 day and decided to take my chances. I called on day 12 and they said it had been received and was in process. On day 14 I received a undated letter from them with the unopened FedEx envelope saying due to high volumes they would not be able to process due to high volumes for the next wk and a half. That I would be refunded my money in 5-10 days. Now I am out FedEx fees and an expedidited town fee and still have no passport!
