Despite the revamp of the pool at everyone active Basildon, the staff remain quite rude.
Maybe Invest in customer service training

Great classes! Instructors friendly and knowledgeable. Can be tricky to book into most popular. Cleanliness remains an issue ☹️

I am writing regarding the Basildon branch. My child was taking swimming lessons here. I am struggling to cancel the membership because I am moving. I don't understand what the staff at the branch do. Because whenever I ask a question, they tell me I have to do it online. The process isn't done online. I have to create an online query and wait a few days for a response. I received a cancellation message, but there's no information about when the membership will end or on which dates I can continue lessons this month. I don't understand why I can't get this information from the branch.

The absolute worst I have ever seen. Staff very unhelpful. Ok I want to clarify something about the Everyone Active In Basildon. One time I went there to swim with my son. Sounds right? Well when I called Basildon Everyone Active if there is lane swimming for deep pool, but they said there was a race. I called again next day asking if we can swim in lane swimming in deep pool BUT THERE WAS ANOTHER RACE AGAIN. And that frustrated me and my son ,because I take my child there every week so he can improve his swimming but because of these all time weekend races we cant swim normally. One week later we called Basildon Everyone Active Again, I asked is there a lane for deep pool they said there was at 1:00PM 2:00PM and 3:00PM. I said: Ok That's good and hang up. Went there at 2:00PM and then the staff told me "The deep pool is not working" I asked why and she left with no reason. I went upstairs to check why was not working and it wasn't working. THE POOL WAS WITHOUT ANYONE INSIDE ,JUST LEFT LIKE THAT FOR NO REASON. I saw that the shallow pool didn't have that much people about few only but I wasn't let swim there neither. The unhelpful staff member said "The pool has been fully booked" BUT THERE WAS ONLY 10 PEOPLE inside. My son was very disappointed and sad he was crying out of anger when he left the unit almost until we went home. I was very pissed at the level of Customer Support.. Overall I am Very disappointed by Everyone Active and all of the staff. If this happens again I will Never EVER go back to Basildon Everyone Active... EVER AGAIN. EDIT.

App easy to use when booking activity. Nice welcome from Reception on arrival. Facilities good, court all set up ready to play. Plenty of parking on a Saturday late afternoon.

I have only recently joined everyday active at Basildon Sporting village and I have received excellent customer service and support

The centre is well kept....reception people are friendly and cooperative...goodboost has great helpers with what ever you have to do...Jade takes us most of the time and she is friendly and polite a delight to work with...and after you can have eats or a drink in the cafe.

The daily swim the the deep pool (Basildon)has become a daily health routine which made a big difference for me. I' not looking forward to the refurbishment period during which the deep pool isn't available. I will have to manage my expectations during that period. On the other hand I will look forward to see the results of refurbishments when they are completed. Having a 'sauna' section in the Sporting Village would be another great addition to the complex.

Enjoyable Swim.

Not enough Aqua Aerobics classes plus but can't book more than 7 days in advance, yet classes are fully booked as soon as new days come out. Not enough fitness class variety an NO sauna on site.

My daughter was playing netball today and took a nasty fall, went to the front desk for help and they could not have helped her more they were so good and thought it definitely deserved an appreciation post!! Thanks so much guys!

Sue makes the group exercise class fun and works us hard. Very happy with the service and would highly recommend.

Great facilities, helpful staff and lots of choice for fitness

The facilities are very good, the staff helpful, and it is all very accessible. The one minor niggle was there was no centrifuge to dry the swimwear in the changing room.

Came swimming with my grandson recently. Had a great time but the changing rooms need more inspection. Not the staffs fault as people just don’t care. But as per the staff have to clean up behind some people . Dirty nappies on the floor ( even a sanitary towel🤮). Sweet wrappers. Peoke clearly dknt know how to use bins . The lady behind reception clearly didn’t want to be there. She was quite abrupt to customers . May be havjng an off day 🤷🏻‍♀️.. but my grandson enjoyed his swim all the same , but just a few little bits need attention . But as I said can’t help if people don’t kniw how to clean up after themselves. Sad really

My kid has been in the same swim class for over 18 months, has hardly missed a lesson yet I keep on getting nonsensical excuses from the lesson teacher. I find it ridiculously unbelievable that when he started the class he was 13yrs now almost 15yrs and still in the same class. It seems everyone active are doing this deliberately to squeeze parents out of as much money as possible.

Website is an absolute nightmare to navigate.I tried to register and book a pay as you go gym session….I gave up after 25 minutes. I walked up to the local Pure Gym and had a guided tour without an appointment then went home and joined on line in less than 10 minutes. No need to book sessions, no time limits.

The staff are friendly and helpful. the facilities are good and mostly the access is good.

KEEP AWAY from these incompetent bunch of people.
Especially the membership desks are full of kids who are more interested in their social media than the work they are doing.
I have paid in advance and joined but the little girl who was busy with her make up and tik tok, had forgotten to put my details on the system so every time I want to enter into the gym, reception is accusing me of using invalid card and each time I have been humiliated in front of other people.

So finally I have given up and now going to join another gym..
