Car that I was given was a category below what I had ordered. Mentioned this, and they said take it up with “economy car rentals.” Not happy

We hired from easyrent at Dublin airport . Their shuttle bus from the terminal didn’t go to the correct place for pick up so left us standing in the rain for over an hour . When we tried to explain this to the person behind the desk …. Reuben…… he said this was us being personal to hem and he cancelled our booking ! What’s worse is that myself and my disabled friend were told by him we could not now get the shuttle bus back to the terminal as we were no longer customers . He was rude , offensive, and the other passengers there told us we should have rung the police . DONT BOOK WITH THEM you will be disappointed

We have used Easi-Rent previously and our current booking (which we have changed numerous times) the customer service we have received on the telephone has been excellent. We will continue to use Easi-Rent as everything is straight forward and the online amendments etc are easy to navigate. Booking ref: 3308115.
Terrible service
Terrible service arrived at 4:30am to return the car to find to office closed and no way to get back to the airport. We had 9 people in total including a baby and then having to arrange our own taxi to the airport. Horrible way to end the holiday having to arrange a taxi to the airport really did not need this at 4:30 in the morning. Please stay away from this company.

I rented a vehicle in Dublin. Not with this company, but I've rented vehicles in Dublin several times without an issue.
Although our flight was slightly late, it did not occur to me to ring as they had my flight details.
To make matters worse, their shuttle bus was very late picking us up. In fact, there was a shuttle bus but the driver would not let us on and informed us he would be back in 10 minutes. I told the driver my name so he could inform his office; but obviously my details were not given. That 10 minutes turned in 40 minutes and then it took another 10-15 minutes to get out of the airport car-park.
When we arrived at the office, I was informed they cancelled our booking as we turned up late! No phone call, email, nothing; they just decided to cancel my complete booking. To rub salt into the wound, I was then informed that I had lost my money and would have to book another car! This company gave my car away to someone else WITHOUT my permission! Surely this is theft, isn't it!?
Later I read the T&Cs and yes there is a 55 minute time allowance. But since the flight was late and their shuttle bus made us late, this made no difference to them. They would rather take the money (extra profit margin) and inconvenience their customers.
Do they not realise what stress this puts on their customers under having to deal with crap like this?
Everyone wants a decent, smooth service.
If I treated my customers like they do, I wouldn't be in business.
Complete and utter thieves.

Scam company that even though they admitted the car was returned in pristine condition would not give back 2100 euro's of deposit.
We had to go the hard route and file a fraud case to get the money back.
Zero apology, the people on the phone are extremely rude and overall a bad company run by bad people.

Key on the car had a wasted battery and therefore no central locking. When locking manually, only the drivers door locked leaving the other doors and boot unlocked.
People working in the office were nice but not a good overall experience.

Prebooked Hire a car at Dublin Airport from the UK. When picking up the car was informed that I required a DVLA code, never had to get this before and was informed that I could not have the car without it. I had no way of getting this but when my wife queried this she was informed that if we paid 150 euros excess insurance we could have the car ,which unfortunately I had to pay. a complete ripoff and I will never use this company again . please be aware

I don’t recommend you using this rental company at all. They lied about the T&Cs cancelled my reservation, ensure at the desk they will offer full refund. Used my friend card for payment (when I was the contrat and driver owner) and have refused to honor the refund.
Customer service is not returning any emails nor calls..
I am looking to denounce their commercial practices with the CCE if anyone with abuse/bad experience wants to get in touch ? so no more customers are getting commercially abused !

Do not hire a car from this company at Dublin airport unless you want to be hit with hidden charges. They tell you not to pay the toll charge as they will do it for you. The toll charge is £2.70 which you can pay at any newsagent. They charged me £10 admin fee. It’s a great scam for them because how many people just can’t be bothered to get their money back. Stay away from Easirent Dublin Airport.

Awful - they cancelled my rental at very last minute with no alternative offered. We were very let down.
Profit above ethics
Booked with Easirent because I got a reletively good deal and was offered free cancellation and change of date/time. Informed them by phone (logged 12.27 August 1st) four days before my departure that the flight schedule had changed slightly and that instead of 10.15 I would be landing at 11.30. I was assured this was in order and told to ring for pick up on arrival. Did this on August 5 before midday to be told that there was no car for me because I hadn't been there at 10.15. The man I spoke to made no attempt to deny the fact that I had informed them of a schedule change but simply asked indignantly - "Where do you think I'm going to conjure up a car for you." I spent the next four days relying on buses and taxis and it was remarkable that when I rang from my wife's or my mobile that it was impossible to get throuugh to any Easirent number. Only using a neighbour's phone did I finally get through to be told there were still no cars even though Easirent were advertising them continuously on line for the same period. Finally, one employee -Ali was true to his word and managed to get permission to offer me a car the Sunday after my arrival. My written complaint to the company has up to now been ignored. They told DoyouSpain that I turned up late which is a misprepresentation of the facts. Surely Easirent can do better than this for a pensioner who has used them several times.

Terrible experience with Easirent; recently changed that they no longer accept AMEX as a credit card; no updates on this received per mail/ on fine print or on their website. Even though I offered transferring 2100 EUR per debit card or using alternative credit card (maxed at 2000) they did not allow me to book my usual preference of no insurance and charged me an additional 60 EUR. As a loyal customer; I must say customer service is absolutely terrible and if it wasn't for their good prices (which wont be the case now that they dont accept AMEX) I would not recommend them to anyone or book them.
