I cancelled DSTV years ago due to the unbelievable rubbish they aired (apart from the live sports broadcasts! Yet, I am billed every month! Are the staff just not competent or not? If you call the call centre you are placed on hold, and you run out of airtime!
I am totally disgusted and disappointed by DSTV!

I write this for the second time,please assist with my account,I paid 3 times but my channels still not playing and I did called yesterday again they didn't assist me .was talking to Nolwazi she only gave me ref no INC1976010,is it fair paying so many times but they said it's pending,how because I did pay.from whatsapp I can't get help,even if I call you you guys seems like you dnt care about customers .fix the error guys today am tired for this poor service of yours

Disgusting service by dstv

Dstv is failing to refund or credit my dstv account for money they debited for services that i did not request.they upgraded my package without my consent,charged me and debited my account now they are failing to refund back my money 20days later,since I logged a complaint I getting different new story everytime I call,which I've been calling almost everyday.

I would like to complain about sihle and neo that were helping me on whattap app, they gave a horrible service instead of helping me they were offering offer, that is very frustrating when you desperately need help and a person decides to do the opposite, I was very clear on where I need help and they both kept on telling me the amount of money I needed to pay. I wanted to clear the error on dstv and they both never helped me, sihle even went on to telling me that he won't be continuing helping me because I asked if he can not help he can transfer me to another agent and his closing the chat and he did exactly that.
Neo closed the chat before I finished I'm very frustrated and angry with their service, I would have appreciated if they reffered me to online service if they couldn't help then being rude and going around in circles. My number is 0814083481.

SCAM

I ordered DSTV internet 2 weeks ago, spoke to a lady which took down my details. A few days later I enquired because I haven't received and SMS or email for confirmation and went to their online chat. What a useless service, apparently all my info doesn't match I could do verification, so firstly I don't know WHAT THE HELL the lady wrote down when she called me. Nevertheless she gave my sales code, and on the M24 logistics it says package to be delivered by the 9th. On there thers some foreign address and foreign cell number I don't know what the he'll that lady was smoking. It's the 11th now I haven't heard anything back, online chat is completely useless. I've tried reaching out to the courier company their number on Google doesn't work they don't respond to emails. Sent them a message on Instagram.. I really don't know what to do. GOD FORBID. YOU DSTV MUST DARE DEBIT MY ACCOUNT FOR THIS POOR SERVICE AND THERELL BE HELL. I've decided to go with with another provider I cannot at the beginning have trouble already.

Bunch of fraudsters

I have had dstv wifi for past 2 years and all was okay all along. Until last month when I came back home and the wifi was not working. I called in and I was told that my data has been depleted and my contract have come to an end. For the past 24 months that I have on contract my data have never been depleted now that am on prepaid the same 400GB I was getting doesn't last 20 days. Who is fooling who were

Had a very very bad service was given a run around wanting to help my mother wanted to cancel her dstv ensurance,i was sent from one department to another.how do u expect a 60 year old woman to be taken to one consulted to another ended up not being help.why is it we have to struggle so much to get help she is not watchn tv today because no one helped i couldnt get one person to help me help her.i wasted my airtime do you peolpe understand how much we poor struggle and we have to waste money with airtime and after that end up not being dstv i must give it to you,you know how to make people suffer thank you very much.

MultiChoice Engages in Unlawful Cold Calling

I have asked this company On Air TV used by Multichoice multiple times to remove me from their database. I have NOT provided them with my contact details, yet they are cold calling me.

This is against the POPI Act. As a result of this company’s actions, I will not use Multichoice or any of their related products or services. I will also report them to the POPIA Regulator. I will also be posting complaints against your partner On Air TV.

Live Chat support is pathetic

Their Live chat support managers are lazy and rude. If you hate your job that much, find another one. Don't project your pitiful life on potential customers who want to know more information about the service (that's already overpriced anyway) before subscribing the premium package.

Incompetent helpdesk agents

For 17days I am trying to get assistance ftom DSTV . Spend more than 3 hours on the cellphone with 11 agents to try and solve a problem witn no success. The message reafs PROXIMITY ERROR
Cannot stream on this device as another device is streaming in your home network and this device is outside you home network.
I have changed passwork, logged in and out for numerous times and the problem is the same 17 days later..

The dstv stream updated version is horrible!! Why is it that when you select a show to watch in TV shows, it starts by showing “episode 1” I think it would be better if it started with the latest episode going backwards to the oldest because what do you mean I have to scroll (that is not even scrolling I have to click on that “next” arrow) through 170 episodes to get to the latest episode!?? This is getting boring now! Fix it! 😤

Dstv expects customers to supply password to reset a fault

Dstv has a technical fault and expects customers to give them their password to reset it.

The call centre agent who could not explain why they required a customer to give personal passwords to a stranger point blank refused to escalate to a supervisor / manager.
