Ordered a bed and mattress, delivery date was today, got told yesterday the delivery will be over a month late, already got rid of old bed. Went back to store for a refund, no compensation for this at all. They didnt even give me the pillows for free that i got with purchase. Made 2 trips to store and have been told my money will be refunded in 14 days. Ive literally just invested in the company with 0% return. Fantastic. Now im on the sofa for 14 days, then have to order another bed and wait again. Diabolical customer service. On hold on customer service as i write this (20 mins no answer). I advise to stay clear of dreams. Their slogan should be 'we will sell you a dream and refund you in 14 days'

I purchased a mattress in-store at the Dreams Leeds Crown Point branch on July 8th and paid in cash. The next day (July 9th), I decided to cancel the order. The cancellation was successfully processed, and I provided my account details for a BACS refund transfer from Head Office.

I was promised a refund within 5 to 10 working days. It has now been almost a month (6th of August as of writing), and I am still waiting for my money.

What makes this worse is trying to get hold of customer service. Phone line wait times consistently exceed 90 minutes. When you finally try the live chat alternative, you are forced into a queue of over 150 people. Looking through other customer reviews, people are spending from morning until evening simply trying to reach an advisor.

Dreams committed to processing this refund within 5 to 10 working days, and that commitment has now been broken by several weeks with no BACS reference, no payment date, and no meaningful update. Holding onto a customer's money for this long, with no communication and no way to get through to anyone, is completely unacceptable.

Dreams is registered with The Furniture & Home Improvement Ombudsman, and if this is not resolved as soon as possible, my next step will be to escalate this case directly to them alongside filing a formal complaint.

I am posting this here in the hope that someone from Senior Management will finally take responsibility and process my refund without further delay.

Well Gary the manager is definitely not capable of dealing with genuine complaints.
Had my bed delivered and my partner couldn't get one of the bars in. You pay 500 for a bed and the instructions are rubbish there is no bottom on it cheap rubbish!!!!!
Then the manager came up and he couldn't fit it stating the bar was faulty?!!!
And said a new part would need to be ordered and goes on holiday for 2 weeks and 2 days and doesn't pass it to someone else to deal with UNBELIEVABLE so I get him this morning and he said when he checked the bar goes at the bottom and it's so easy SO WHY DID HE NOT CHECK BEFORE HE CAME DOWN!!!!????
I said I wanted compensation which I am due and he straight away started to say I wasn't entitled and I hung up on him so I will be contacting Trading Standards.
Where do companies get off selling inferior goods with inferior instructions and think they can get away with it. I am finished with Dreams terrible way to treat a customer absolutely disgusting and disgraceful just interested in getting your money no aftercare at all. 😡😡😡😡😡

Was in the Falkirk store what a great experience! Staff so friendly and very knowledgeable. The sleepmatch is very handy and helped point us in the right direction for the perfect mattress when we renovate our room. Thanks again to the staff of Falkirk we will definitely be back next month to buy!!

Based on my experience the sales process was smooth and efficient, unfortunately the after-sales customer service has been extremely disappointing. When I call, I am placed in a queue and repeatedly told that I am number two and that my call will be answered within one minute. However, even after waiting for 30 minutes, I am still on hold with no response.

The online chat function is also ineffective and does not appear to work properly. Sadly, it feels as though the focus is on making the sale, but the support is lacking when customers need assistance afterwards.

Based on this experience, I would not purchase from Dreams again and would struggle to recommend them to others.

Ordered duvets that were to be delivered "within 2 weeks". 3 weeks passed and no delivery. Contacted customer service. Online in a chat for over an hour to get through. Assured they were on their way. Another few days pass. No delivery. Contact customer services again. This time I'm told the duvets have never been in stock. Told I would be refunded.... Still no refund. Website has been under some sort of maintenance for weeks. Utterly ridiculous. Avoid at all cost. Get your bedding elsewhere!! I will not be using Dreams again!

Chloe was excellent. She asked good questions about what we were looking for and served us thoroughly but gave us time to consider all options

this is my review for the dreams store in Tamworth it was great they helped me choose a mattress to buy in accordance to my needs as I have osteoporosis but with the help of the team I can sleep abit easier at night

I would give five stars but I find the dreams ad on tv rlly annoying

Great staff! Ben at the tamworth location was particuarly helpful. I was only looking for pillows but he showed me the matresses and was very informative. I will definitely be back. Thank you.

The welcome from the staff Aimee and Fiona as we entered the store,patience and knowledgeable guidance through suitable mattresses and assistance with the final choice, also advice on additional protection, and arranging delivery, couldn't ask for better service

Had a bed delivered today, divan has a staple tear in it from the packaging, my wife logged into web chat at 15:19zto report the fault, still have 90 people ahead of us in the web chat at 20:44. Really dissatisfied with the customer experience, dreadful!

We went to the solihull branch and were seen to by Lauren. We had a really friendly experience and took care of our needs and helped us to get a good deal and a comfortable mattress.

Wayne in the Carlisle shop was brilliant. So knowledgeable and helpful in finding us a fantastic mattress. Took us through the sleepmatch scanner, great piece of technology to narrow down the options and from there Wayne talked us through the mattresses and different offerings from dreams. We also got a hot drink which is a lovely touch. We wouldnt go anywhere else for a mattress thanks to Wayne!

Purchased a mattress a few months ago, unfortunately my back just wasn't agreeing with it. Went back in to try new ones and swap it out on the comfort exchange policy. Sam and Ashley were super helpful and assisted me in finding the right one. Fingers crossed no more back ache

I had a great experience at dreams, AJ was very helpful and showed us all the mattresses that we needed and we ended up buying it that day very friendly staff!!
Would recommended to go there !!
