we are also seeking a refund as we no longer have any form of reply from this company. doors ordered in June. Repeated promises they were made and ready for dispatch. Now radio silence. No reply to all forms of communication. We believe this company to be fraudulent. Order number 103608

I strongly advise customers to avoid this company. I paid by bank transfer, but my door was not delivered and the company repeatedly ignored my calls and messages. The owner only responded after I demanded my money back and said I believed I had been scammed. She then claimed that the door had been dispatched 10 days earlier, but provided no tracking details or proof of delivery, and I do not believe this claim is true. Other customers have also reported receiving repeated excuses. Unless I receive an immediate refund or verifiable proof of delivery, I will report the matter to Action Fraud and my bank. My experience with this company has been extremely concerning and unacceptable.

This company is surely running a scam. We ordered doors since February 2025 and now in Mid June we still don’t have doors. They fail to communicate and always have an excuse about why they are not delivering what the client paid for. Whenever we call the company number they either don’t pick up or fob us off saying someone will be in touch. Getting doors shouldn’t be this big an ordeal!

after an enthusiatic email saying they could help with bespoke doors, they have now ignored 2 emails and one phone call where i requested a quote over a period of around 3 weeks. Reading other comments poor communication seems to be a theme and its possibly a lucky escape.

The Wooden Door Company in Bradford supplied me with 14 bespoke doors for my apartment. Some were fire doors. All of the doors supplied were of a high quality, no chips or damage on delivery. Because a number of my door frames weren't a standard size, dimensions were important. Wooden Door provided all doors to the millimetre, making fitting much easier than I expected. The staff went out of their way to ensure the order was correct and exact. From the office staff of Mandy and Radheka to the production guidance from Anesh, I couldn't fault them. The company owner, Sanji, also took an interest in ensuring my total satisfaction.

I ordered a bespoke door from here, I called and spoke to a gentleman who was extremely helpful, explaining all the details I needed to give. I received the door three weeks later, perfect fit and looks absolutely brilliant. I really could not fault this company.

We are reporting this company to TRADING STANDARDS as they have failed to supply us with the paperwork for the 8 Fire Doors we purchased from them in early 2023. We now face having to remove and replace of all of these doors as they are not fit for purpose.

This is a serious health & safety issue as they are supplying ‘fire doors’ without proof they are compliant. There could be a serious incident caused one day by the negligence of this company and their false claims. We have spent months trying to get the correct paperwork from this company and they have continually tried to fob us off and sent us incorrect information in the hope that we and our building inspectors would go away. I recommend to everyone considering dealing with this company to go elsewhere.

Really great company to work with they did me 16 bespoke interior doors and I requested for them to be delivered in 2 batches as I wanted to focus on upstairs first then work on downstairs afterwards.
This was the best option for me, and worked really well. I live in Derby so to have them delivered in 2 batches I worked around them to accept, eventhough I was on a tight timeframe also left me touch up varnish on both occasions for any snags.
Really appreciate the their help, reviews aren't always truthful which made me feel quite sorry for the team, only takes one bad egg.

If I could give zero stars I would. Did an apphauling job of fitting, left loose screws and nails, corners loosely nailed together and attempted to hide multiple blemishes with paste. When challenged politely by the young woman in her own home, the store owner became very aggressive and threatened her. Four men in hoodies outside in the car were waiting so they were scared for their safety and paid full price for a shoddy job out of fear and intimidatio.

NEVER use this company.

In a nutshell id recommend NEVER dealing with these guys. They had to re-treat the doors 3 times and the finish is still NOT up to standard for the price i paid. £2300.
all in all it took around 5 months from ordering and it was like getting blood out of a stone when trying to obtain the Fire Door certificate with lie after lie after lie.
Zero Proffesionalism, low quality & the worst customer service is not even worth 1 star.
Also watch out for the delivery guy, Gary who is condescending by repeatedly calling you love and the same excuse each time that hes just HELPING out the family that run the business to deflect the all round shocking nature of this company.
If you order, expect a rough ride & inferior product.

They are easy to work with and have quality products. We have used them for years and their professionalism is beyond words. We highly recommend them if you are looking for quality wood Door.

Wooden door co have just supplied and fitted some amazing internal doors for me, unfortunately these were delayed by a couple of weeks due to a shipment issue but in order to have them ready for an event I needed them for, Sanjay (the owner) himself came down with joiners and stayed till late on the Friday to have my doors fully fitted. They look totally amazing and well worth the money and wait.

I can only echo the comments below - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They simply do not not answer any form of communications once they have your money.

I ordered 10 doors, 9 were fine yet the other had big chunks missing from it that they simply filled. Now this would be fine if we were painting the doors but we werent so the filling is clearly obvious and were spotted immediately. Trying to get s replacement door is impossible due to the aforementioned reasons.

The fact that they don't respond to any reviews on here tells you everyhting that you need to know about how much they value customer service.

Lovely team who are very experienced and full of brilliant door knowledge. Had an Accoya External Door Made to Measure and has turned out wonderful. I really appreciate all your help, I'll be back as promised with an order for my internal doors when we are ready.
Delivery was one day delayed, but with everything at the moment, it cant be helped, they were apologetic and kept communicating throughout, then worked around me to have the door delivered safely.
Delivery was to Harrgoate. Cant wait to have the door fitted, will be sending you photos!!!

Great doors, I fitted for a customer of mine. They chose the design and they came to the sizes i required. The frames were out of square so I had shave the doors down slightly but the excellent service sent me some paint touch up which was easily done and finished the job off nicely? Tried to upload pics but they aren't working for some reason. Customer is over the moon, and so am I. Absolute plesure to deal with. Cheers guys, Jim

Paid £2000 for 4 bespoke sized doors. Quality was extremely poor
E.G. veneer peeling off, scratches, 48mm fire doors rather than the specified 44mm. Once they have your money that are not concerned with customer service - we tried for 6 months to try to get them to resolve our issues but to no avail. Please, save yourself the frustration, time and wasted money by shopping elsewhere…we really wish we had.

They replied same day with great advice. Saved me hundreds. I'm doing the work myself which I would not have attempted without the advice. Thanks for the great service.

Their bespoke doors are much cheaper than other companies, and also a lot quicker. Only needed one door for my kitchen which wasn't standard but they managed to sort this for me & was ready for my builder to collect within ten days. Appreciate this was only one door but the service i received was fantastic. Thanks for sorting this for me.

Ordered a number of internal doors and the team went above and beyond to make sure they were delivered on time and fit properly.
