Amazing staff at Dogtainers
The ladies who supported us during the process of getting our puppies to their forever families made the process simple and straightforward.
We would like to thank Louise for her support getting Oregano to his home (support started around the 21st of November 2024) and Laena-Leigh for her support in getting Coriander to his family (supported on the 16th of December 2024).
We would also like to thank the staff at the drop off depot for their kindness to our little ones, and for being helpful when putting them in the crates.

Dogs extremely well looked after
was a great experience, they looked after my dogs professionally and they were very happy dogs in the end, i was updated daily with photos of them being walked and played with.

All was good . I did think I’d get a call reminder call type thing the day before or morning of. Just incase and when she was dropped off and if plane was on time . But all the lead up was fine. Thankyou

Defence Mbrs DO NOT use this company
Defence posting members beware. I was driving to the airport when I got a call to say my dog never boarded the aircraft over two hours prior. The reason they were now calling me was to find out if they could put her on a late night flight. She had been scheduled for another flight in the afternoon but was apparently cancelled. This all happened and I was not informed. My dog was picked up from a boarding kennel at 8am, I was not updated until multiple phone calls resulted in a photo of her at 8 pm. In this time she had been transported in a crate via a car to the airport and left there only to not be boarded on the plane. She was then left waiting around for the next flight which cancelled cargo. The lady told me she was back in their kennels and they would send me a photo of her at 3 pm. I got nothing until I called again to find out if she boarded the next flight and what was happening. My family was completely distressed. When I picked up my dog at 10:45 pm after a huge day for her, she was completely terrified. Considering I bought the bronze package, I honestly expected better Service. Each person who answered the phone had a different excuse for why they weren’t telling me what was happening with my pet. The service was absolutely appalling and I can’t even begin to imagine what my dog went through. I will never use them again and will not recommend them to any Defence serving member. In fact I will do the opposite and be sure to advise everyone not to use them.
They definitely did not attempt to contact me and that is a lie. It would be great to see that evidence.

While unexpected flight changes by the airline meant she couldn’t depart at her scheduled time, we understand how unsettling it is not to receive immediate updates when plans shift. Our team arranged a later flight for the same day and brought Cleo back under our care until that flight was due. We made contact with you, as soon as we had a new plan for her travel.
Cleo’s comfort was important to us throughout the day. She was in our care, receiving attention and monitored closely, not left alone. If it felt otherwise, we acknowledge that our efforts to keep you fully informed fell short of your expectations.
We know this was a difficult experience, and we’re sorry for the worry it caused. Your feedback will help us review our communication processes to prevent such misunderstandings in the future.

I used Dogtainers to relocate my pup from Perth to Melbourne. As soon as i entered my details online via their website i instantly received a quote in my inbox. The quote was relatively cheaper than other companies i also received quotes from. Dogtainers provided the best flight option and instructions and booking process was easy to follow. I hired a crate from Dogtainers and it was in good condition ready for the pup on arrival at the drop off point. Amazing experience with moving my cat…
Amazing experience with moving my cat Alina from Tasmania to Queensland, they were very helpful with reassuring me that she was okay and explained how the move worked, got a texted update with photos of her saying that she was okay and on her way. Made it safely to Queensland and has settled very well. Couldn’t be more happier with the company and the staff!!

Incredible experience with Lisa
Dogtainers was absolutely amazing in assisting us facilitate the move for my 2 cats, Melody and Taro from Melbourne to Malaysia. We had been so anxious about the process, but Lisa was increible and gave us assurance every step of the way. She got on an initial call with us to give us a rundown of the process and clear any doubts we had, including all the blood tests needed, timeline and how our cats might take the travel stress. At the time we had engaged Lisa, there was a nationwide shortage of the vaccine needed, but she was incredible in helping us source a vet and put us on waitlists that would supply us the vaccine. When it came down to crunch time, Lisa handled all the permits, kept in contact with the vet and labs and kept us constantly updated. It was honestly such an easy and smooth process, would highly recommend Dogtainers' service to all as the process can be daunting without the help of a good agent. My 2 cats are now home and well adjusted. Thank you so much Lisa and Dogtainers!

Puppy Transport
The whole process was great and ran very smoothly. When dropped the pup off the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Didn’t rush when we were saying goodbye but timely at the destination I was told all went well there also.

We recently used Dogtainers to transport our puppy from Canberra to Melbourne, and the experience was fantastic. Dogtainers is an excellent pet transport service, we have used them twice now to fly our 8 week old puppies from a small breeder in Perth across to Melbourne (big flight and big day for little puppers 🥺) but they are well taken care of and it shows in their boundless enthusiasm and high spirits when they finally arrive at our home, safe & sound, not traumatised and dry 😜
