Usual weekly trip to Dobbies for lunch this week, as the menus have recently been changed, decided to opt for a chicken & bacon sandwich, oh dear! The chicken was the horrible from frozen kind and it tasted the same, didn’t eat it , come on Dobbies surely you can do better !

I went yesterday to the restaurant. Wanted fish and mash but I got fish and chips. In the fish there was more batter than fish. The quality has gone down. My friend had peas which wasn't cooked properly. We won't be going to the restaurant anymore as I this is not the first time this happened. Service was very slow. We have to call them to be served as it was taking such a long time.

3 days of trying to contact the store calling 9 times in total with nobody picking up the phone.

Why is the tea always lukewarm in the coffee shop area.
Nice staff, didn’t want to ask them.

What a Wonderful Afternoon Tea with a church group of 14 . The Table was set and looked so lovely and inviting offering delicious sandwiches with very generous fillings, scones and cakes were yummy and a refreshing lemon mousse was very good too.
The staff and Manageress were excellent very attentive , very professional and our orders for drinks came promptly . We all had such a wonderful time and would certainly recommend this event to friends and family . Well done to you all and Thank you so much .

We went to see Santa and they gave gift with no marbles in which is meant to have marbles in

I booked two Christmas lunches here over the festive period. At the first lunch the general meal was ok but the sprouts were very overcooked and grey looking. I later had stomach cramps which I think was the sprouts. The Manager and most of the staff were working hard but the service was slow with one waitress scrolling in her phone and eating food from the service desk. We were so disappointed with the meal that my husband sent a complaint. In the complaint he said that I had paid a deposit to go with friends the following week. We were told that the complaint would be passed on so assumed it would be acted on. The following week I visited with friends, again the Brussels sprouts were overcooked I asked for a replacement veg and was given peas which were fine. The turkey was dry and again the service slow. After years of coming to Dobbies as a member I will not be eating a Christmas meal here very disappointing. My husband sent a follow-up complaint but heard no more.

Avoid the Restaurant, the food is not very good and usually cold. Also they have a weird annoying rule, that they cannot serve hot, cold or Alcoholic drinks after 3pm.
They take your money for food without explaining all the rules. We won't be going again.

Great shopping at Waitrose today. Friendly staff.

Went into the coffee shop in the Wallington Dobbies for the first time.

I was so impressed with the young lad called Harry that served me, gave me so many options and I ended up with a much better drink than I went in for.
The two ladies Vicky and Grainne were very friendly and had a quick chat, which made me feel relaxed as I was on my own.
The price was similar to the high street chains, but the coffee and the experience was much nicer and I will definitely be going back.

They also recommended the pumpkin cake which I was a bit dubious about as never tried it, was probably one of the best cakes I’ve ever had.

Went for the Sunday roast and was left very disappointed, had the new dish called the vegan wellington. The vegetables in the wellington was one congealed solid lump, the pastry was rock solid as it had been tried to be kept warm. The carrots were the baby type and were about 10 of them (not even 2 mouth fulls). The potatoes were a total of 2 slices each consisting of about 1 third of a small potato i.e. a total of less than one small potato. Plus 2 very small balls of stuffing with table spoon of gravy.
ALL OF THE FOOD WAS COLD. At £15 it was a rip off, I consider the quality of the food and amount given to be less than a fiver. I have previously enjoyed the jacket potatoes and wraps, but this Sunday lunch was a BIG disappointment and I will not be going eat there again.

Had afternoon tea at Dobbies garden centre wallington for 8 people it was my mums 95th birthday everything was perfect . Staff food setting.It was a real success thankyou .

We regularly have breakfast here in the main restaurant and with that we have been served by Jane numerous times and on every occasion she is always welcoming and very friendly. Jane really is a credit to Dobbies and always makes sure we have a lovely visit. Thank you x

Food not as good as it use to be jacket potatoes a lot small and you only get a spoon of beans and the potatoes were warm not hot enough poor value for money will not come back and would not recommend

Great place with lots of options, a bit over priced with outdoor resources and equipment. Cafe is nice and their outdoor furniture options are reasonably priced.

Went into the garden centre and met with a member of staff who said did I want a FREE Trial of the Debbie’s loyalty card she wanted my debit card number and said don’t worry we won’t take any money, just had an email saying they will take money as my trial has ended- at no time was this mentioned I’ve just rung to try and cancel it and the first agent put the phone down on me, the second time my call was just disconnected, trying again don’t hold out much hope might have to cancel my card with my bank! I wonder how many elderly people have fallen for this

I pop in to get some nice plants 🪴 for my mums 2nd year momorial and lady of customer service (Julia) was very friendly, helpful and showed so much care. She was understanding and was very compassionate when I got upset tell he about my mum. Wonderful customer service and my mums momorial is now beautiful.

I love wandering around the Wallington branch. So many great plants and garden ornaments. Great cafe and friendly/helpful staff.

They get you to sign up saying it’s easy to unsubscribe.but it’s not,iv been on the site for 20 minutes and still can’t do it.rip off don’t go there.everything is overpriced.

Utterly disgusting hygiene... as in no hygiene in cafe area where the children's play area is at the far end. At least get wipeable seats!
Seats covered in splash marks ,hair, gross for a food area. Will not be spending my money there again. Staff abrupt and unwelcoming. So not suprised the seating area, cake covers, etc are dirty.
