Very frendly staff always find something nice

Still a good selection of plants despite it being the end of the summer season, stock in excellent condition, everywhere is so clean and tidy, extremely polite and helpful staff, I've just moved into the area and feel lucky to have this place only a 10 min drive from home

Bought some great plants, had lunch with my sister and generally had a lovely time/

I always find Dobbies garden centre a pleasure to visit. The store is always clean and tidy and items are easy to find. And also the staff are extremely helpful, courteous and friendly.

There was an issue at tills of restaurant where my monthly coffee had not been added. I was told by staff I had already had them. I tried to explain however the attitude of staff was that I had had them but I could go to customer services to sort it which I did. On my return with a note from CS for staff member I iterated that I as I told her I hadn’t had them. She came round from till and in my face argued that it was the till not her. I tried to say I could appreciate that but it was how she spoke when she kept loudly telling me it wasn’t her fault. I walked off and made a complaint about her attitude. This was dealt with accordingly but as a new customer it didn’t leave me with a great experience.

I regularly visit Dobbies, Stapleton for coffee with friends. Drinks are good, service is okay. Restaurant is clean and staff are helpful and friendly. However I would suggest you provide your customers with new seating, preferably chairs you are able to wipe and clean easily. The current chairs have stains and it is difficult to find one that does not. Thank you

I visited Dobbies in order to make use of the last day of the 20% discount off everything with a £5 reward card when you spent over £30 or more. My sister had received the email regarding the discount code but I hadn't, so I thought I would sort it out with customer services once I had selected my purchases. Customer services told me that not everyone had been sent the discount code which I thought was unfair. Customer services were helpful and said I could use a staff members discount code.When I got home I was left wondering if I would recieve the £5 gift card as the code that was used was not linked to my club card number. Please can you tell me if this can be resolved.

A disappointing visit, mainly due to appalling service in the restaurant.
The store was busy as it was the last day of a promotion, as was the restaurant. It was frustrating to queue for half an hour for coffees and to pay for coffees & cakes/ scones. Other people were complaining that they had ordered food and were frustrated could not pay & get to their tables.
The restaurant had also run out of clotted cream & were about to run out of butter.
Surely a promotion is to gain footfall and extra visitors should be planned & catered for.
Slow service is often encountered in the restaurant but this was far worse than normal.
The only saving grace is that food is tasty & good quality.

We love going to the restaurant in dobbies. But we have a dog which dobbies are brilliant with but I get annoyed when we want to eat in the dog area and all tables are full and not everybody has a dog andwe cannot use the main restaurant. Also the toilets could do with a revamp

Another excellent experience. Friendly and accommodating staff finished off with a very relaxing coffee in the restaurant.

I went specifically to buy garlic bulbs but they were difficult to find. When I asked a member of staff I was told they were by the tills. Eventually found them only by asking again.
Always find their plants high quality.

There was once again a very long queue in the restaurant, I only wanted a cup of take away coffee!
I don't think I shall bother renewing my club membership if I have to wait for so long.
Sale prices weren't particularly inviting either so I didn't buy very much- I went to another garden centre

Dobbies as a garden centre is good.
We recently bought heathers that I admit were reduced in price.
Unfortunately when I came to plant them they were severely pot bound.
Be careful what you buy.
I don’t expect them to survive.

We had a lovely coffee in the restaurant.

I am surprised there is no flexibility with regard to lunch time serving. you either have to wait or go away if you arrive before midday. The meal I had was so tuff my knife would not cut through the batter. The choices were limited and in future I will consider a Pub for my meal.

The centre was in chaos as the dreaded Xmas display was being assembled.. Dobbies is no longer a garden centre.. it's now predominantly a shopping centre for stuff that has absolutely nothing to do with a garden. I wanted a small piece of trellis but there was nothing suitable. A waste of a journey..

Quality of plants very good. The biggest problem with the 3 centre's I have visited is the slow service in the restaurants whether for coffee or main meals. The staff do there best but there are not enough staff.

We always use dobbies and this day spent a fair amount of money on plants and gifts and wasn't happy when I received email that evening stating 20% discount the next day. If I had received that rmail in the morning I would have waited
