Good selection and good sale reductions. Our only issue is with waiting time at coffee station and poor clearing of tables in the coffee shop.

Nice visit to the restaurant. Very quiet so no queue at the coffee making area. No queue to pay. Very efficient person making coffee - a male who was a barista.

Love the store. Got what I wanted quickly.

Always happy with visit to Dobbies in Ayr. Staff friendly and helpful. Food in restaurant always good. Good stock in Garden Centre.

I enjoy going to Dobbies as it’s a nice friendly environment with lovely staff . The restaurant serves good food and I can always find some plants I like . Only problem is the points vouchers come in too late , I’ve visited and used my free hot drinks for the month before the vouchers arrive ☹️ so I lose out on points .

When taking sale items to till, the amended prices of some items had not been updated, therefore I was overcharged.

I still have not heard back from anyone at the Ayr centre. Rang and emailed the manager no replies and it was before Christmas.

Great sale on there Christmas stuff and the coffee shop is amazing.

Staff always very helpful, plenty of choice in whatever your looking for ,and the cafe has always got a choice of food

Always like a visit to Dobbies in Ayr at Christmas, a mooch around all the festive wares, nice smells, and something from the cafe! Everything is massively overpriced, of course, but its decent quality and you just accept it for what it is. But went today for the Little Seedlings Christmas party that our son was attending - party itself was really good for the kids, with Christmas crafts and a visit from a great Santa and the elves, and Kiera was fantastic as usual, but the cafe was a nightmare. Forty minutes to get fully served, meant I missed a fair bit of the kids party. By the time I got through the till, hot food was cold; and, tbh, was pretty ordinary fare anyway and well overpriced for what it was (don't mind paying top dollar for top spec grub, but this wasn't it). Not sure what the problem was with the cafe, but was achingly slow. There seem to be four different queues in one, all on the go at the same time - one for hot food, one for non hot food, one for hot drinks and one for the til, all merging into one with folk moving in front of others depending on what food they were having. Seemed to be plenty of staff behind the counters all of whom seemed busy, so who knows.
All in all, very poor with the cafe, and my experience boiled down to very ordinary, overpriced, cold food that took ages to get. Can't say that I won't use the cafe again, however, cos I do like a visit to Dobbies and will no doubt use it cos it's there, but if it was a standalone cafe I wouldn't be back.

The team are working hard and are very helpful and happy. Great shopping trip .

Hot food is poor. Dog friendly area moved into coldest part of store. No radiators. High prices.

Having only recently visited Dobbies I wonder why it has taken me so long. I have visited 3 times this week to buy plants and planters. I have been delighted with the pricing of these items. I was even more delighted when the lady at checkout introduced me the loyalty card. Since then I have met fabulous friendly staff throughout the premises from the chap at checkout, the young man who carried my planters to my car and the gentleman who walked around the store to find for me the last planter in the store to match others that I had purchased earlier. Wonderful friendly helpful staff.

Nice choice of miniature shrubs which is what I called in for.

Beautiful plants and they all looked healthy .

Birthday treat on the Sunday 24th Sept with my sister and Eve on barista duties went above my expectations by heating both cup and decaffeinated coffee bag- what a difference to my extra hot coffee.
Purchased a garden set and staff exceptionally helpful

Just like to visit Ayr store when on holiday.
