Dobbies Garden Centres - Andover Bewertungen 265

Good morning.
I would have given full stars but unfortunately on our visit to Dobbies in Andover last Sunday we were not allowed into the restaurant. We go quite often on Sunday morning for a breakfast at 10am and always enjoy the food and atmosphere. But we stood at the door waiting to be let in only to be told that the restaurant is closed until 11am right up till Xmas. Apparently there is a sign on the exit door saying this, why not on the entrance door also?. 11am is past our breakfast time. I’m afraid we shall be going to Hilliers Garden Centre over the coming weeks.

Our first and last visit to our local store's restaurant, finally decided to try it after a recent loyalty card upgrade. Without question the worst flat whites (watery tasteless slop) we've been served anywhere in the UK, complete with spillage in the saucers but costing the same as a Costa/Nero. The sweet treat selection was almost as weak as the drink and didn't look fresh. No amount of freebies-per-month or money-off vouchers will tempt us to use it again. Shocking effort Dobbies; we'll be continuing to travel the extra couple of miles so to enjoy the far superior restaurant at Hilliers.

I was looking for assistance in purchasing an artificial tree when Mel ( 21367 ) came to assist me. She was professional, polite and a very lovely person. Nothing was too much trouble. Dobbies should be very grateful that they have her working there for them. She made the whole shopping trip a delightful experience and will encourage me to visit the shop more often.

Good stock, got everything I needed and the pet department was awesome… plus still got a load of lovely herbs

Good shopping experience. The plants all look well cared for. There is a wide selection of gift items and accessories for the home and garden. The staff are helpful and friendly

Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Excellent selection of plants and garden equipment. A bit pricey!

A large area of the store has been cordoned off for months because of a water leak. This has left the area covered in slime and reeking, but you have no choice but to walk past it to get to the tills. Such a shame as the store is well stocked and the staff are lovely (but despairing of Dobbies ever sending out someone to repair the water leak).

Love a trip to the Garden Centre. Had a good plant and furniture sale going on. Went into the pet shop to buy something but no one was serving - only thing that let it down. Staff are very friendly

Went for a coffee in dobbies at around 4.35 and they abruptly told us they close at 5 and were closed;they had already had put chemicals into the machines to clean down.
There Website does not state they close until 6.
They lost 6 regular dobbies customers- very disappointing
